It seems that it won’t be long before LG will be updating their smartphones, since Xperia announced that they will be updating their Xperia Z1, Xpera Z, Xperia ZL, and Xperia Z Ultra soon. A leaked poster from a French mobile operator indicate an update to Android 4.4 KitKat is due sometime in December. I guess LG has an advantage of getting the update first because they are Google’s partner in making the Nexus 5.

I read that it will be release in Asia on March 15, 2014. Singapore will be the first one to get the update. I hope Singapore is using the ESA firmware as it will mean that Philippines will also get it on the same day. Hopefully leaks will be out next week prior to the release date.

I think, there's no battery case available yet here in Philippines. You could try to shop online or go to any SM Cyberzone if there's already available one for G2.

If you looking to flash I would not get any of those clone knock off devices. Mostly as they so not have the hardware they claim they so and non have a good selection of roms to flash

I was using an old crappy Nokia as my phone and a 1st gen galaxy 7" tab. Replaced both with the Ultra.
Holy hell this is an amazing phone. Tablet. Phone. Wonder machine.
The screen is better than my Dell XPS 14!

Im Worksop too! I got mine in white unlocked from ecell on Ebay for £500 (its the 3g version though) takes 4 full working days for delivery but very very pleased with the device. Don't need 4g as im getting at 10-20 meg download speeds here in Gateford Worksop, im on Three on the one plan (true unlimited internet)

In gonna wait fora week or two, see what Three do, then make my decision
Using mine in Maryland. Love it! Lots of fun comments on it, and it's fun to put it under water and surprise people.
I used mine for about a week but realized it was too big to use as my daily driver. Using a Moto X now.

Ordered mine today as well from a Hong Kong seller on eBay. Although since I'm in the US, it'll take about 2-3 weeks. But it wasn't urgent enough to spend $18 for faster shipping, which still would have taken well over a week. I'll just wait, patiently... :fingers-crossed:
UK amazon has some sellers showing it in stock. Not sure how reliable they are.

Ordered mine off Amazon UK, from a 3rd party seller who has it in stock (even on their site).
Sent yesterday and if I'm lucky I'll be receiving it tomorrow morning... if not (and that's almost surely the case) I'll receive it on Monday...

Comes with zagg screen protector, and body glove case. It hasnt been out the case other than purchase and screen protector was put on at purchase. So its pretty much brand new condition just rooted n flashed with slimkat but can be restored to factory. Make offers

Ah just making sure. To bad just before u posted it we replaced my gf phone with a moto g. Got a good deal. 159 for the 16gb version plus grip shell and overnight shipping. Well of course those were extra the phone itself was 159. The lg g is the better phone no question. But I am still excited to see and test the moto g hands on. Lol crazy I know. But I am sure u will find someone easily that is gonna buy it. Try the actually sales forum here in XDA.

Check the radio bands. The radio bands that our telcos are using might not be supported by the US version of the hardware. That's was the case with Nexus 5. There are usually two variants. US & International model. Personally I'd go with the international model just to be sure.
