i have Xperia mini (st15i) cell phone. there was a lot of dust inside it and over its LCD screen so i opened the screws of this and cleaned the dust from inside and from the screen also. but when i assembled the phone again and turned the phone ON there is no display. only the light on the top of the phone is turning ON and there is no other light on the phone or screen is turning ON. phone also vibrates when i turn it on as usual only display is not coming.
I have replaced the LCD screen with new one but problem is same. i dont know what to do know please help me to solve this problem. i will be very thankful to you..

probably u damaged yr board or the connection cable. thats why u never should do sth if u not know what u are EXACTLY doing.
we cant really help here, bcuz to do this we would dissassemble the device & take a look. bring it to a tech shop, bcuz like said sth with the HW is surely damaged. sry
today i was checking the phone LCD today and during checking phone display appeared for few moment and than disappeared again.

Hello,
in party I accidentaly dropeed my phone from third floor and it turned off, some parts flew away (mine's X10 mini, not pro)..
I collected everyting, tried to turn it on, it vibrated, but no image were displayed, just backlight.
I opened it, checked all wires (i don't know how you call that thin wires, that goes from screen to motherboard) - everything is ok.
But still no results - not working - just turns on, but screen not showing anything - just backlight glowing.
Any idead how to fix?

Mate its the display flex which is broken or damanged.. The only way to fix it is send it to service center n get a new flex replaxed.. :/

can u still use your warranty to repair it for free?? if is it your case i would send it to se because i had a similar problem,but in my case my touch screen didnt work properly,i press on the top but it was selected the bottom options,and it kept pressing bottom all the time... so i went back to stock rom with seus,relocked the bootloader,unrooted the phone and send it to repair... finally i received a week later with a new touch screen for free!! i hope to be helpful!!

Um... I think that warranty does not apply on damage caused by customer itself. You'll have to send it to repair, with a risk to pay, even if you have stock rom/kernel, I think.

you're true!! obviously if they see a screen crashed if you want it new, you'll have to pay... but i thought this buddy says his mini looks good but doesn't work... he can try anyway... in my case it falls on the floor but not so high, and I think it caused my problem... maybe not! maybe it was a fault in my touchscreen and that's why I got it reppaired for free... He can try anyway...

Hello everyone. My xperia neo fell down and the screen is broken, not the digitizer (i think)
I disambled the whole phone, and i have some doubts. When i only plug the display and turn on the phone, the screen turn on, i can see the screen light. But when i plug the digitizer and the buttons and turn on the phone, the screen doesnt turn on , no light.
Its this a display problem? if i buy a new one it will works? or all the phone is broken?
Where can i buy a new one? Looking for a good seller.

HI everyone My Xperia Mini Pro worked just fine, then one day the screen remained black after unlocking it... it still worked, i could feel the touch and vibrations, i could basicly do everything just that i wasn't able to see it. After some shaking, pressing, sliding the keyboard out, it came back to its normal state, but would go black again if i pressed it hard and hold...Now the screen is always black. I hadn't really dropped it, it wasn't exposed to high temperatures, it just happened......i took it to some service centers and they have changed the flex cable a few times but didn't work..they assumed it was a hardware issue.....My warranty's long out.....WHAT SHOULD I DO???...Is there a chance that a screen change might help it and what would it cost me? please help

You have to replace the screen of course . Not very expensive i think .

My friend broke his XMP screen bro, and in the service center they charged it too heavy such that he can buy an another device
try flashing stock ics just to check if it is software problem else you have to bear expenses if you cant miss such a good device
you can buy cheap screen screen for your device on some asian web sites and mabe from ebay. if you need links, just tell me...

Hello, i got a Galaxy ace, and i replace the screen, lcd and digitizer cuz they were broken, because my girlfriend, have an attack, and drop the phone hard to the floor, i replace both screen, and now, i get into "Download mode" (blind) and i could update the rom (stock) via Kies, but the phone still have the white screen, from boot, always have white screen, after and before screen replacement. NEED HELP Please !

I think your screen digitizer or lcd is not connected correctly to connecter of display so check that or your lcd has problem..there is no problem of software..just check your display is connected right or your display has peoblem..

IF YOU BREAK IT SORRY BUT YOU CAN TRY
open up again clean sockets inspect phone for visual damage (near screws edges etc.) to the board
connect screen to board outside of case so you have access to screen socket plug in the charger and gently touch the ribbon/socket when on if no changes try gently bending the board (very gently you do not want to make something loose or even worse snap the thing) see if any effect on display post any findings
|PS its easy to buy faulty screen as they are not transported the way they should be try to replace

I'm new posting here but i folow some tips and tricks from this forum along ago.
First sorry if my English is not always correct i now it... I am Portuguese.
I need some help with my xperia Z2, i wil describe step by step:
The touch of Z2 broken and after that booth LCD and Touch doesnt do anything, no image no light and no response from touch but the phone turns on and off, so I change booth lcd and touch from a official seller but it still almost the same no light and no image, it still turns on and now i ear the touch working but i do know what i am touching i can see nothing in the lcd... Then i replace the main flex thinking it could be a problem with the cable but it still the same... I tried to flash some roms and update with pc companion and all worked fine except the lcd stills the same... no image and no light... Someone can help me i dont know what to do now i about to selling it for pieces its all new in this phone except the mainboard... could be a problem in the board???
I almost forgot, it receives calls and sms but i dont see anything... i think all the function are ok just the image not.
I searched for hours in this forum something like this but i didnt found anything, i tried some tricks like the rubber and power + vol up but didnt worked. Help please before i sell it for peaces.

I think this can be closed if there is no more solutions... i tried everything... if anyone needs pieces for a xperia Z2 just tell me i have a new touch and lcd mounted on it i think someone could use the case of it... the board just for pieces its damaged.
