I've been using the sony shb50.
I tried the jaybird x ones (for 180) and wound up returning them. They only got about 7 hours of use. And honestly I don't care for soft tip earbuds. So after trying a few kinds I'm pleased with the sony shb50. Gets me through 8-10 hours typically, and can use any pair of earbuds you want.
only cost $60.

Even I will say that sony makes one of the best earbuds. I actually use an old Sony Ericsson MW600. 8 hrs on that oldie, with nice audio quality.
I've also tried Backbeat 2 Go, (without charging case). It wasn't bad, but I like my M600 more, it even has FM and the ability to sync with multiple devices. I dunno if Plantronics has this. I didn't try it that much. Can you please check this and tell me how good it is?

What's the audio quality and volume level on the Backbeat Go 2? I've been watching it for a while.

If you don't need Bluetooth or a mic then get these and some t_400 foam buds. They kill my beats. I saw a review on them and I said no way they sound good, so I ordered them. You will not be sorry. Crazy crazy sound!
Note 3 Pimp Slapped

The plantronics headsets are total trash the fall out your ear and are awkward looking and on top of that the sound very low never again I would get a pair returned it within 20 minutes of buying it.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

My experience is totally the opposite. I love the headphone. It fits snuggly in my ears. They do have different size of ear plugs that come with the package. Just have to find one that fits your ears. So far it has worked great for me. Use it all the time for phone calls and musics. The only gripe i have is battery life, which is around 4+ hrs. I combine it with seagate wireless plus harddisk of 1TB, and I have all musics on the go at all time. Wire free.

I use tone plus best bluetooth headset I ever had and waterproof bike in rain snow hail sleep storm and it still works a year and some later 10 hours battery life too. Couldn't go wrong
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

I use the BackBeat GO 2 and had the first version as well. Battery was around the same with 4 hours constant usage. But as I live in Canada, the battery seems like it's shorter when it tells me battery low when I go out in the cold weather. Also interference from cables above ground level causes music to stutter a lot.

What Bluetooth Headset Are You Using?

Hey fellow wing users,
I'm residing in Southern California and they recently passed a law that hands free headsets are required as of July 1st,2008. Just wondering what everyone is using to see what my options are.
If you can please post Brand and Model and where you got it
Best Regards

Yeah im in the military and on any military installation you are required to use hands free. I use a Motorola T505 for in car, it has a pretty loud speaker and can be played through your radio. I use a BlueAnt Z9 for in ear bluetooth. They are both pretty damn good and can be found on Newegg dot com.
Good post
I use the Jawbone its good !!
looking for good excuse to buy new one one plus is the noise cancellation option works
i have first version one new ones thiner
http://www.jawbone.com/
thanks for the replies. both are very good. the jawbone looks nice but how does it function? i'm trying to compromise looks and functionality as much as i can
noise-canceling technology is great
here a good place for some reviews of different ones
it hot don't want to type 104* off to pool
i use the big clunker
http://www.welectronics.com/Bluetooth/motorola_ht820.jpg
but i love it.. when im on the bus i hear no sound when i have the volume up at a good level.. if i want ot hear i lower it and can hear almost everything and my music
there big there ugly
i use them for 45 minutes to a hour a day and charge then every 3 weeks..
but thye are kick a$$
I use Tritton TRI-BH102 it has been pretty good to me. Battery life is 4hours+ constant stream range is limited to 10' anything more than that is most likely to disconnect. The thing I like about it is the 3.5mm jack.
I use the Jabra BT250v for talking. It's not the one in the link, but it looks just like it. It's the loudest and clearest one I've found in the store. It's very comfortable despite the way it looks. I've forgotten that I was wearing it quite a few times. It has an earpiece that goes into your ear and it sounds like the caller is standing next to you. I talk for about 3 hours a day, and I charge it once a week. It was $50 at Best Buy. I liked the SE HBH-610 more, but I don't think they make them anymore. I've heard really good things about all the Plantronics, but they were too expensive for me.
I use the SouthWing SA505 for stereo music. It's loud, music sounds good, and the battery last for months. I use it in the gym for 2 hours a day, 6 days a week, and to talk when I forget to charge my Jabra. I charge it about once every other month, but it's never actually died on me so it could probably go longer. And it was only $23 with shipping on eBay!
I have one by caselogic, a CLST-100
It cost $16 on double clearance, and it works about as much as it costs.
But the fact of the matter is that it works
I'm using both Jawbones (new and original) I find the new one to be more comfortable
man some dope head phones here, made it even harder for me to choose lol .. i was going to stick with a simple motorola but dam hahaha i have more options now
thanks guys keep em coming!
Out of the few BT headsets I have I find I really only use my JVC HAW700BT set anymore. It's got a stereo jack so I can use whatever headphones I like and when not on the phone I can move the main body of it to my belt. This one can also connect to your car stereo if it's got an Aux input and you can use it as a hands-free set. The battery life is excellent... at least for me.
The only "con" for me is that the charger's connection at the bottom of the main body isn't miniUSB, just some plain two pin connector. Gonna make my own adapter for it so I can charge on the go.
http://www.gadgetell.com/tech/comment/jvc-intros-new-bluetooth-transmitter-and-headset/
I haven't looked to see if it's more common now. When I got mine i had a very hard time finding anyone who even had it in their computer, much less in stock, and it wasn't on JVC's site either.
I use the jabra bt8010 stereo headset. I'm simply in love with this thing. the sound quality is outstanding. I find myself using my wing for music more than my ipod because of the headset. If your wearing both pieces phone calls sound as if you are in the same room with the person. check ebay they used to go for between 90.00 and 110.00$$ but now you can find them for as low as $40.00. Now if I could only figure out how to setup my voice command to be used on te headset?
I use a Motorola. Excellent sound quality, And compatible with A2DP ( Music via Bluetooth thing ).

i was looking into this one because of the simplicity of it. right now it seems like the best bang for the buck.
I use the Motorola H700 with no problems
Motorola H700 for me to very good, talking on phone is good, music sounds good ... MSVC sucks big time, i got mine off ebay for 22 bucks
I have the cheapest Jabra I could find in the shop, 10 UK pounds.
It's rubbish. I bought it just to try how bt headsets work.
Interestingly (although maybe I'm the last one to find out), using the attached cab I can send all sound through it whether it likes it or not (it would only work when there's a call otherwise).
What is the model number for Motorola BT head set

Opinions on Bluetooth Headphones?

Just wanted to know if anyone was using bluetooth headphones on their Rezound? Any recommendations in the $50 range? How does the DSPManager sound with them? I need something that will get me through an 8 hour work day without having to charge off and on. Thanks in advanced!
I have a pair of Motorola Bluetooth stereo headphones that work great. They are the behind the ear model. I've had them for about a year now and the battery still holds about a 10 hour charge.
I don't use the equalizer with them on this set, but on my old phone (Samsung Charge) the Bluetooth sound was not controlled by the settings for the amp
Motorola S305
I actually haven't used them with my Rezound yet, but I have a pair of the Motorola S305s as well and they worked great with my Incredible. Very durable, great sound quality, great battery life, reliable Bluetooth connection.
Best Buy's Rocketfish RF-MAB2 works great! $59.99 Also used these with my retired Incredible..

This. they are pretty awesome.
I have the Motorola SD-10HDs and they work great aswell. DSPManager works when you set the bluetooth settings. My headphones are also sweat proof.
Awesome! Thanks for the response everyone! Any thoughts on any bluetooth earbuds? I tend to find them more comfortable to listen to but I'm open to checking out the suggestions everyone made.
Gotta wait for my Rezound to come back from repair. Hopefully they're fixing my headphone output but if they don't, I'll look into bluetooth headphones as an option.
If you haven't already bought, check out the MW600 by sony. I can get a solid 6-8 out of them and they are pretty comfortable. Not to mention you can use them with any headset you want.

These are amazing headphones, I ended up breaking mine by accident and ended up getting the Jabra Halo set (also sold at Bestbuy). They are a bit more pricy but they were worth it to me. They fold up real nice and hold up a really great charge, used them for 3 days without charging, and they have some great sound quality to them, also has some cool touch-like controls on it for volume, skipping tracks and making/taking calls. Call quality is pretty nice too
I have a set of these:
I got these for a penny + shipping from Tmobile (it was on slickdeals.net it was incorrectly priced and was only up for a few hours) and I couldn't be happier. Glad I finally got rid of the cord. I can listen to music, answer phone calls, adjust volume, skip songs. Simply amazing.

JayBird- Freedom Bluetooth Earbud Headphones
Great sound for music and while talking. Extra earbuds to find the right fit. Holds about a 8-10 hr charge while using. Days on standby. Only problem is the rubber piece that covers up the usb port is hard to get opened if you have big fingers. Other than that a great pair of headphones for under $100.

All, I have my Motorola bluetooth stereo headphones. Cost me like $60.00 and I love them. They are over the ear and fit comfortable.
I have my Beat's by Dre' for $300.00 and they are OK. Blew a bunch of money.....
Went to Target last night and got in-ear Skullcandy from JIB for $9.99 and I LOVE them!!! deep base, clear sound, and they fit comfortable for someone that does not like inserting crap in my ear!!! Im not a fan of wired anything BUT, these things are sweet! and if your going out and don't need them, ball them up and put in your pocket!

Agree. I have some as well and I love them. Especially since they have different sized plugs to put over the ear buds (the silicone covers or whatever the hell they are that make them stay in your ears). I have tiny ears and most ear buds won't stay in and start to hurt, but these are nice.

What I like most? $9.99! (and yea, 2 sets of plugs!)
If you want the best sounding earbuds around, try these. http://www.overstock.com/Electronic...oise-Reduction-Earphones/6053065/product.html
I was at a Marshall's and there was a pair that were opened. I plugged them into my Photon, which I use CM9 Music on and I was blown away. The bass response is seriously insane. I've had other cheaper ones that I have thought were pretty damn amazing and even sounded better than Beats in ears but these take the cake by far. If you check Marshall's you can probably find em. They were $9.99 there. I saw them at Wal-mart for around $20.
ML, those look nice as well. It just shows that you dont have to get bank loan for a quality item, which is why I posted this for all here!

Exactly. They so incredible. I also got another pair that are developed in Sweden and have the Punisher logo on them. I know it sounds cheesy but they are amazing and not expensive at all either. They aren't the cheesy ones you'd buy for a kid. They are these ones here. Also got them for $8.99 at Marshall's http://www.superherostuff.com/punis...ear-comfort-headphones.html?itemcd=headbudpun
big skullcandy fan. all I've used since my first skullcandys. 1st pair was stolen. 2nd pair got lost after letting brothers borrow. 3rd pair I've had for three years and still work! all other head phones i have used after about a month they start sounding staticy and right side blows. also have a white pair that wad give to me. 3 yr old pair and white ones are the (ink'd) model. i just got blue pair and a pink pair (jibs)for my girlfriend for 5 bucks together from skullcandys ebay page.... i will never use anything except skullcandy

I have a Free EQ app and they work well together. Hip Hop I set it to Hip Hop and I get bass. For ZZ Top I set it to Heavy Metal (I know they are Blues!) and I get treble. I have classical, Jazz, and a few more, but again, the few I tried sound great. Oh, and there is a custom setting that gives you 5 different ranges to adjust to your liking? And at $9.99.............

A huge selling point for me is long term wearability. Who cares if it is the best sound ever created if you can not wear them for more than 10 minutes at a time because your ears ache.
Both of these headphones can easily be listened to for a couple of hours with no problem and still deliver a really good sound.

I love my LG Tones. Have been using them almost daily for 1.5 years. Amazing battery life, great sound quality and even better form factor.
I got a pair of Jlab version 1 in-ear buds... wonderful sound and last about 12 hours of constant playback as I use them every weekend on my weekend job (12hour shifts)... I have had them for two years... not a single problem.
I will say i didn't like how they fit because the are the stiff band type that go in ear. So they somewhat hurt until i got used to them and stretch them out.
thanx guys i will do some research and find i let you know
I'm waiting for these to be released. http://www.jabra.com/products/bluetooth/jabra_rox/jabra_rox

I have the LG Tones+ 700. I love them too and they last for awhile. Battery life is at least a day or so with constant playback. I replaced the buds that came with them with Comply's. They're the squishy and I also got them with the ear guard to keep the wax out of them. You can get 3 pairs for like 20 or 30 bucks but they'll last you awhile.

In the gym my phone falls out of my pocket

I hate belt clips because they look so goofy, but since I'm a powerlifter and wear a thick belt, they dont fit. I'm also not crazy about armbands.
I need to have a case on my phone because of the impact that deadlifting and benching have on my phone. Anyone have a suggestion for an alternative?
If u don't need a belt clip you can order the poetic revolution case, it should be out soon. If you want to go cheap with a case you can order the moko. I'm currently using the moko and so far I'm well pleased!

I would suggest maybe Bluetooth headphones if you are OK with that. I have the same problem with it sliding out my pocket so I just place it on the ground slightly away from me.
I thought of using a Bluetooth set. I like bass in my earphones but I haven't heard any that cost under 50.00 and have good bass. Any suggestions? This nicht actually work because my gym bag is with me at all times.

Well for over the ears I use this brand called Bluedio it looks like a Beats knockoff. It's a Chinese company but I have had one of their headphones for over a year without issues. It's pretty cheap, like $35-40 and they are good for the price. You can find them on Amazon or eBay.

+111 to that. Love mine. And they are sweat proof too. I road cycle in mine., and they take a bath and keep on ticking. Good bass too.
However, not within your price range... 150$ ish I think.. Can't recall what I paid for them.
This case:

Buy one of these straps

tie it to your belt.. it will never fall on the floor.
I second the Jaybird Bluebuds X , you shouldn't be doing heavy barbell work with a phone on your body , the Jaybirds let you skip songs, change volume, receive and make calls all without touching your phone, you then can pick the device up in between sets from the gym bag if needed
Looked at the jaybirds... They're way out of my price range (especially since buying the n6 lol) the beats clone looks like a viable option but I'm not crazy about the size of them. I'm not a big fan of large earphones.
Anyone ever hear of these

RBG the problem with the strap is when I row or deadlift. It'll get in the way.

pendley rows dont mix with a phone in your pocket , not to mention any clean motion get a cheaper wireless headset in the meantime until you can shell the cash for the Jaybirds
I bought a cheap bluetooth headset and just leave my phone sitting on my bag. They're not nearly as loud as i'd like, but this phone isn't very friendly for the gym, so i sacrificed.
Good idea.... Love the Pendlay row! One of my favorites. Helped my deadlift immensely!

Look up Bluez Aftershockz they have the best bass of any Bluetooth I've heard and they're like $70. Also they don't cover your ears so you can still hear what's going on around you. Battery lasts about 6hrs playing music.

You can look for something like this - http://www.amazon.com/BlueAnt-Ribbon-Bluetooth-Streamer-Headset/dp/B009F4XM48 and use any pair of headphones. It won't have the power to drive a large pair but should be fine for any in ear ones. I have this one http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HS3000-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B004XYI998 which I use at the gym and just recently bought the BlueAnt one I linked above for my wife.
It has apt-x support which is great for her Note 3 (and that's the reason I bought the one I have for my S3 and then S4). Too bad the Nexus 6 doesn't have apt-x though...
Problem was solved by a client of mine that I've trained for 3 years. He got me a set of Bluetooth earphones that sound absolutely amazing. The guy barely has enough money to pay me, but he went out and got them for me as a Christmas gift. I am truly thankful that I have a good team of people who really appreciate what I do in those long 13-15 hour days.
The headphones are phenomenal! :good:
How about leaving the phone in the locker room, get yourself a cheap iPod shuffle that you can just clip to you shirt and be done with it.

Not an Apple fan. Phones are too small and most of my music is on Google Music. Still, they design a beautiful product.
