Problem solved: Just send to Sony Service.
Is the device completely off? Launch PC Companion and select support zone and click "Repair my Phone" or something similar
Is the device on but no screen? Try pressing power + Volume up or down I don't remember I guess it's up, press them upto 1 minute and device will reboot

U could 1st try this
@tiestobunio
Well the device is screwed. Boot s1 partition has been damaged. As the phone will not boot now restoring original ta is not possible. Using JTAG might restore it but its usually expensive and is not successful
every time (depends on skill of person preforming. )
Ask your friend to pay up. As far as my knowledge goes, apart from JTAG restore is impossible.
Sorry for your loss.
And for the rest of you, don't give advice if your not fully aware of the problem

Without thinking I gave the phone to the service because here "decent" response does not waited.
Well either by some great miracle they will fix it (don't keep your hopes up) or will return it and say that it's dead and gone.
What exactly did they say when you gave it to them ?

You are screwed. There is a way but it is hard. I have no experience with this method. You must find the testpoint of the phone first though. I do not think anyone knows where is the testpoint.

My SONY XPERIA S Complete DEAD
My xperia S is not going in flash or fastboot mode. Even after pressing vl+ & USB connection. I did it lot of times previously, but is not responding now. It'll just show red led always. PLease tell me the wayarounds other than flashtool recovery or cyanogens. Or atleast how to boot it once?
If I press Vol+ and Power, it responds with 1vibration & 3vibrations. Can I say bootloader has got damaged if it responds with vibrations?
PLease suggest. I am too much frustrated because of dead phone now.

Okay so you have installed all the drivers for flashtool and PC Companion?
What have you done with your phone, on which software version have you been, is your bootloader locked/unlocked, are you on a custom rom/kernel?
Please give us more information and we can maybe help you
Hi George,
It looks like your phone has gone into a factory mode as said in this thread.
You might want to send it to warranty repair if your bootloader is still intact and your warranty period isn't over or you might want to try different key combinations to wake your phone from coma (that's what it looks like) . If you manage to boot your device using different key combinations then immediately put your phone in A/C charging. After full charge do a factory reset and repair your phone using seus (this might work but not guaranteed) . For more info google "qhsusb_dload xperia" and also read the above mentioned link carefully.
Good luck!
Press thanks if I helped you.

This issue is a rarity. It is generally a device fault or happens when you play with the device's bootloader in the way you shouldn't. I've read somewhere it means that there is no bootloader in the device and the phone is waiting to be flashed with a bootloader and that's why it's called the factory mode. ( I can't verify my sources on this ).

Hi guys, i don't know how to solve a problem with my Sola. I read the recover soft-brick guide for xperia models but i can't solve it. I think i bricked.
When i try to turn on it's on Sony screen and there's nothing to do. I can use on flash mode and flash the kernel but the result is the same when i turn on. The led works like green in flash mode, or red when i finish the flash and the device is still connected. I have a locked bootloader, and all this happened when i wanted to restore a backup, i probably made a mistake: do a full wipe after that. I think that's is still in warranty, isnt' it? What can i do? There are some tips on the tutorial but i'm afraid to kill the battery or make other mistakes. Please help me guys.
And sorry for my bad english =(

Yes and flash is ok but when i turn on it's still on sony screen...i waited about 5 minutes. I tried with 6.1.1.B.1.54 and with 6.1.1.B.1.1.0 with same result. I know i have to wait after flash a stock firmware but i see it's too much time. Maybe because when i want to switch off i have to use hard reset (i mean with all 3 button). I don't know..thanks to reply in any case

You mean just return to stock. no apps and data??
settings/ backup & restore
"factory reset"
Or
Plug your device into a PC. Install "Sony PC companion"
and then to reinstall of the firmware...
The first options is faster. The second option is what people usually do when there is something major wrong with their Sony operating system.
All these thinks. Doesnt Workshop! PC companion says Display locket no connect to Phone. Is there a way like Samsung to Come in bootmenu?

Sorry I'm not understanding you. If you are in the standard sony firmware, then going into your devices 'settings' and then scrolling down the 'backup & restore' and then selecting factory reset... then thats all you need to do. You device will have that as an option.
Last scenario go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45840741#post45840741

So now on my PC. I cant make a hard reset because my xperia has a Display lock in German "Displaysperre mit einem Muster" My son had made this and he dont know how it was. I remember by Samsung or other Devices you can Reset the phone in the Bootmenu, or recovery Mode. On sony ther is no Recovery mode or anything else i know! So how can i make a Hard reset with it. For the People who mean go in the Settings and make this and that.......... it doesnt work, becouse i dont come on anything in the phone because the Display is locked!!!
Many thanks for helping me and sorry for my bad english

If you connect your device to a pc running PC Companion, you can select the option to reinstall the latest firmware and then choose to wipe the device (factory reset).
You will lose all of your data obviously, but it will also get around the pattern lock screen that your son has created.
that doesnt work because pc companion tells me there is no phone or diplay locked

This is indeed the only solution. You need to download a .ftf, even if you don't find your country it is still working and flash t with Flashtool. As I am not sure which model you have, you need to look on the forum for find the good .ftf.

The phone is messed up like this compleatley. An other phones partitions flashed for the P is like a death sentence. (like flushing AB+ blood into an 0- patient).
If you are lucky enough a compleate restore could help your phone, altough I don't know if that is possible, if the phone can go into fastboot mode you have a chance. You need flashtool and a stock ftf for your phone. And luck, plenty of it.
JTAG can hard rewrite the NAND but if the NAND itself has errors, you don't stand a chance.

Even if the partitions sizes are all ok, it is not certain, that the allocation will be, eveso some partitions held (yes, past now) essential information of the phone itself, like IMEI, MAC adresses etc. To recreate them is somewhere near impossible.
And even bootloader and things like those uses unique resources, based on the phone itself, which files are even needed for flashing the phone via flashtool, because the phone itself is not the same (like the CPU is STEricsson, and S used Qualcomm if I remember correct) so you flashed something to the phone that it couldn't recognize. It is dead. Hope for JTAG but I don't know that XP is supported or not.
