Flashed Voicemail apk - Motorola Droid X2

Anyone know how to add verizon voice mail to the Eclipes 2.3 rom? I installed Eclipse and all work fine but whoever made the rom uninstalled the voicemail apk . I tried to download a flashed version of it. The website had the file and then below it was a md5 number. am i supposed to copy and paste that number into a text editor and save it as a .mf5 file? Then some how include it in the flashed voicemail folder?

many of motorola/verizon stock apps do not work on custom roms
the md5 checksum is used to verify the file was downloaded correctly
see my [How to] Verify that your download is complete with MD5/SHA-1 Hash Checksums

[Q] Get Neutrino Camera

Hi Guys
Do you know if there's any way to get back Neutrino Camera?
Like when i flash the .zip of the stock camera. Can i flash to get the
roms camera back?, I don´t want to wipe the phone, already configure the
options i don´t want to do it again (It tookme like 4 hours to set it as I want).
You can extract the camera app from the system folder in the rom zip and move it to you system/app folder using root explorer and then setting the correct permissions. You could find the camera apk. I believe it is MIUI camera apk but am not 100% sure. There is a post that has the camera apk here on xda

[Q] S Voice no network connection

i reverted back to the original s voice (version 10) packaged with S3 roms.
it is working fine.
I have an idea but nothing conclusive.
I think the server is filtering to only allow s4's to be used with version 11.
I heard similar restrictions for siri where initially only the 4s were able to use it unless hacked to be used with other older gen devices.
Any thoughts?
Yeah it's not working anymore for me :/
Had anyone thought of editing the build prop and changing the model number? I'd reckon that would fix it.

I wish there was a way to do it without rooting my phone.

Seems like the same exact thing happened with the first S-Voice
Heres an article talking about it and how to fix it:
http://www.theandroidsoul.com/fix-network-error-problem-s-voice-app-galaxy-s3/
Sounds like we need to do some tweaking in the APK, unfortunately I do not have those skills. Maybe some dev will be interested in it and help us out, but I'm sure they have other things to do that are a little more important
Jelly Bean??
The link that you provided states that is good for 4.0 ICS. What about later versions, like 4.1.2, Jelly Bean? Does it work for that version also?
Thanks.
s4 s voice 100% working

It didn't work for me after flashing the whole zip (fc when opening weather card). So I restored all files to default and simply installed just S-Voice_Android_phone_J.apk (as a normal app), now it works great. Btw i'm on Omega v43.2 (XXEMC2, 4.1.2).
Here is the extracted S-Voice...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208996

S-Voice_Android_phone_J.apk its not working nework errar. cmw zip is 100 working.
I got the network error in another s4 s-voice version, after I updated the rom. As I said in my previous post, the cwm flashable zip didn't work for me, installing only the apk did.
It's best that users on different roms try it out for themselves and see what works.

Thank you so much, it works by installing the apk file in the zip.
Does this work for anyone currently.
I installed the apk both in the system/apps folder and normally , and both times i get a no network connection.
have they done anything more to prevent anyone but s4 users?
No network connection for S-Voice for galaxy S3
I found out that by uninstalling the update that the apk has recentlly aquired it will fix the network issue since I could not uninstall the program it self. It is a sure fire fix.:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

[Q] ROM suggestions(specific to version build)no glitch

Hello,I have been trying to get a ROM for the X2 that was rooted.I cannot grasp this no matter how many times I reread,Only choice is to accept this is bigger than me.I gather there is a single rom compatible with this phone.Eclipse.I need a rom that has zero glitches associated with it if possible. What else is there. There are many tutorials on installing roms that make no sense to me.Is there any that break down the process in plain english and in easier to follow steps.i am going to post a screenshot of my phone stats to show version.a video tutorial on how to install a rom on my specific devices version would be most beneficial.screenshot to follow shortly.Even loading an attachment was unsuccessful so here are the stats. 1.3.418 mb870 droid x2 2.3.5 n_03.13p 2.6.32.9-00008-gc406305 kernel

[Q] How to safely mod the Apollo build.prop?

I rooted my 8.9 HDX a few months ago, and when the latest two updates started being released, I put it into airplane mode, defeating the reason for having a tablet. I am running Safestrap with the rooted stock rom installed in a rom slot, X-posed module intalled, Android firewall setup, and all those things that were originally thought to prevent update, but I know that as soon as I turn on Wi-Fi it will get updated. I understand that modifying the build.prop is currently the only way to prevent the update, but I can't find (and yes, I have searched the forum) the correct way to safely mod it.
Can someone please post a short tutorial for safely modding the build.prop for the 8.9HDX? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
The attached apk is a different xposed mod that I currently use to block updates. It works.Renaming com.amazon.dtcp.apk (or "dcp" I can't remember) to com.amazon.dtcp.off will work too. Use both. https://peniscorp.com/KindleUpdatesOff.apk Freaking weird URL, i know.
