Hi Guys I purchased Samsung Galaxy Note (SHV-E160K). I am loving the cell phone but I am facing some issues with the battery. On full charge and on normal usage it goes for just 12 hours at max and it hangs a lot. Can someone suggest my if I should keep the cell or I should return it to the seller as I have 3 days time.
Please suggest.
Same Problem with me.

Just got my new S3 yesterday... great phone
Does anybody knows why cell standby is using so much battery ?
Not even screen usage can match it after almost 2,5 hours on.
On comparison, my old Sensation only has cell standby on the 5th place with 8% usage under the same roof / mobile signal conditions.

Maybe I am asking the wrong question here... is anybody else experiencing this problem ?
Well, I asked Samsung the same question and got a typical Samsung response/lecture (my first Samsung phone, but long time bad customer service for other electronic devices)
Thank you for contacting Samsung.
The cell standby is the period of time it is connected to your mobile
network. So if the phone is on for ten hours, and it has signal for 10
hours then this is 10 hours usage. While screen time etc is only used
when it is in use; so if you’re on a call the screen turns off etc.
Cell standby is always being used unless the phone is switched off;
other battery consumers are only on when they are being used.
If you require any further assistance, please contact Samsung again and
we will be more than happy to help.
Kind regards,
Thomas

Hello all!
I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Express for my mother-in-law and there are already a few issues. I have an sgh-i777 GS2 and my wife has the GS3, so I am no stranger to Samsung or android. Here is what is happening with the Express:
When fully charged and not using the phone at all (being on standby) the battery life is MAYBE 9 hours until down to 5% and then the phone shuts off. She is using GoLauncherEX and GoSMS, but everything else is stock that came on the phone. It is NOT rooted and I have never "played" with it. The phone is about 5 days old to her and I cannot understand why the battery life is so short. My GS2 with the same apps running a live background, GPS, and 4G while using Pandora and the internet roughly 5-6 hours a day has a battery life of about 14 hours. The only difference that I can see really is that her CPU is clocked at 1.5Ghz, but it also has a 2000 mAh battery, and mine only has a 1350. This all made me think the battery may have been a lemon from the factory, at least until the next issue occurred.
Earlier today, we discovered that she was not receiving text messages AT ALL, but can send them all day. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated. I could not find a forum for this particular phone because it is so new I guess, so that is my reason for posting here. Thanks in advance!
Hi guys,
I just purchased a Star x920 and rooted + upgraded the ROM.
When I fisrt switched it on,the battery could only last half a day,I thought by upgrading the ROM it will solve the problem.
After ROM change, things are still the same.
My x920 lasts half a day with minimal usage.A 2 minute phone call shaves 2% off the battery.
After a full charge,if I reboot the phone it will leave me 70% or less.
Install battery saver apps, but it does not help at all.
Any advice and opinion??
Thanks

Did you tested the second battery?
Download for the playstore application to calibraiting the battery. (BATTERY CALIBRATION)
can anyone give me the dimensions of the battery of this phone ?
For many months I have noticed that below the threshold of 10% (battery) on my Galaxy S2 is turned off. I brought a number of times your phone for repair, but very often it was just a waste of time.
Please help me because I have to keep the Galaxy S2 for a long time and do not want it in these conditions
P.S: Drain the battery quickly even though he is using that increased samsung (2000mAh) and a lot warmer

Sounds like a faulty battery...do you have the orginal 1650 battery? Use it for a few days
Indeed sounds like your battery is giving up. Get youself a good battery - genuine Samsung/Anker/ZeroLemon (specifically in this order) are your best bets.
Edit - don't buy the crappy knockoffs from eBay that go for under 5$. They are the worst out there.
Hi, can someone please help me? My phone's battery draining too fast after i accidentally dropped my phone, my battery drains from 100% to 16% in just about 1 hour 30 minutes! i have tried many phone calibration steps and all doesn't work, before i drop my phone, my battery can last 1 ~ 2 days if doesn't use it. but now my phone just last about 2 hours!!! :crying::crying::crying:
Can someone please help me? I really need help. :crying:
Who can help me? Please my phone really need to be fixed, thanks
Sounds honestly like either the media scanner bug on steroids or perhaps the battery has had it. Have you tried factory reset by chance?
