I got kids mode working by changing build prop. After downloading it from server I backed up apks. Can any one confirmed its working just by installing all aps without changing build prop

Initially, u need to be rooted (check the forums for how to root your device), then after rooting, follow the steps below:-
Download Xposed Framework
Activate all bundles and reboot
Install and activate "GravityBox" module
Navigate into GravityBox to Hardware buttons
Change Home Key Long Press action
Reboot
Anyway to get these working on non samsung devices?

edit: sorry.. i said something not totally correct before.. i deleted the wrong part.. i can' t tell on other device i don' t have..
i found out that in all the s5 firmware there is already the installer app but is hidden.. if you use "anycut" or similar app to start the installer it wil propt you to download the app by default, but it works like this only on s5 i guess.

This morning, Directv updated their app to mirror their iPad app. It is only compatible with tablets only. Since Note 2 is a hybrid, is there a way to download this via tricking system to show Note 2 as Tablet device. I'm currently rooted with Beans Build 9.

I have an NON TESTED theory;
Ask somone in galaxy tab forum to post their <build.prop> file. It includes the device name and build rev. Create backup of <build.prop> and in new one edit the file in text editor by long-pressing from root explorer and change necessary lines.
For specific lines to edit, head over to <Note II general thread> and look at the <google wallet> main post instructions. It shows how to get wallet working by tricking the NoteII into thinking it's a galaxy nexus. You don't need to download their file. That's for the nfc fix soley. Just use the part about <build.prop> editing as a reference for what lines need to change.

If UI is too small for you, you can set dpi to 213 (nexus 7 dpi) and the UI is a littke bigger but looks off IMO
Will this worked on rooted Note 2. I am using cleanroom 4.5.
It will not work on jailbroke ipad 3.

The MOD described above requires a rooted device. So root has nothing to do with it. Follow directions closely. May help to detail the steps you have taken.
I downloaded framework and installed. I then installed busybox. Then I downloaded and flashed the xposed app settings. After flashing I was not able to find the posed app settings in under the modules tab.

Thanks for the mod/apk! Its awesome. Im trying to insert this into my ROM as a single and default keyboard but it always says Keyboard has stopped working. Is there anyway i can embed this into rom before installing the ROM? FYI it works fine when i install this normal way.

Where did you put it? Try in data/app, instead of system/app.
Great keyboard, but I'm addicted with SwiftKey...

But the .apk could be installed only after I used Titanium Backup to Force Uninstall the built in Keyboard.

I was having same problem and couldn't find any answers, but then I saw my mistake, "Google Keyboard.apk" , instead of "Googlekeyboard.apk"
Never put any app in the system/app folder with a space in its name. and don't forget the lib files.

I keep getting failed download! I'm on stock firmware, on the i9505, latest xposed framework, and vine 1.3.3
There are no settings so I can't tell if it's because it can't save to location or something

Sorry, apparently DownloadManager doesn't auto-create needed directories.
Either redownload the fixed apk (same link), or just create a Vine (case sensitive) directory in /sdcard/Download (or Downloads, depending on your device).

I found a bug yesterday that would prevent downloading videos with a "/" in their description. Most Vine videos are doing it now and that's why it fails. (Some long description W/ Username)

Not sure if I want to touch YouTube, the package is obfuscafed with ProGaurd so each update would break the module for users, and I'd have to go through the source again.

I just download and install on my Nexus 4/KitKat without problem.
Please notice that this app support only Jelly Bean 4.2 and newer. Which is your device model and ROM?

Sorry, what is stock keyguard? Do you mean stock Rom?
Well the device is Micromax A110 mtk 6577, a rebrand\clone of wiko cink king (there are actually such 5 or more rebrands) buddy chamging Rom for me now will be difficult so if you say I can provide you with log or logcat!?

if i create 8 users they wont fit on lockscreen, is that possible to fix? a settings menu to disable and enable lockscreen user interface and maybe layout change would be very cool if possible
first of all thx for the MutliUser working fine on my XPeria Z but duo to my Lock Screen i can't switch so there is a small fix for the Normal Users
Install MoDaCo Toolkit
then in Google Nexus (all): Enable multi-user support it will appear in the Power Menu
i hope the Author doesnt mind my workaround

Could you possibly work around the Android limitation of the Phone app only working for the primary account by always forcing the Phone app to open under the primary userid, no matter which account launches it? In my head it looks like this:

The original menu and item are still there. When you tap reboot you get these options.

I am on pg2. I did a full clean install then, rooted,flashed permissive kernel, installed busy box, flashed viper, flashed 5 way reboot withough flashlight and it works for me with no problem.

There's an edited framework in the flashlight. Flashing it to a modded rom especially one like malberts is gonna overwrite his framework and probably break shiz hence why I said these aren't for modded roms
