[Q] app data transfer between phones

Hello
I have a rooted Samsung S2 (i9100). I recently purchased an LG G2 phone, and there are a number of apps I want to transfer - including their data - from the Samsung to the LG. However, the latter is not rooted (and I can't root it, because of workplace restrictions), which precludes using Titanium Backup or such. The Samsung is using Android 4.1.2 with a custom ROM and the LG is running Android 4.4.2 with the stock ROM.
I tried using Helium, but it doesn't work on the Samsung for some reason, when I connect my PC to the Helium server running on the Samsung and try to backup apps, I get a virtually empty ZIP file. Complicating the issue, I can't connect the Samsung to the PC using the USB port, as its USB port is malfunctioning (I can charge using it, but the PC doesn't recognize the phone), leaving WiFi as the only option for connection.
So to summarize, I need an app which does the following:
1) Backs up applications including data on a rooted phone.
2) Does not require a USB connection between the source phone and a PC.
3) Allows installation of the app, including data, on a different unrooted phone.
Does anyone know of an app which can do this?
Thanks

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 Problem

I have a S3 for 2 years, but last month there was a problem ..
The phone battery is empty and it went off when I put it on the charger and switched on the screen appeared setup (like when I bought the phone), which meant that I went back to factory settings ...
I tried Dr.Fone for Android to get back files that were on the phone (pictures, videos, documents, etc) But since I do not have a complete version of the program I could not go back ... but we're on the phone happened is busy 8GB of memory which I do not have access to.
when i go to settings/ storage
I'm new to this forum so I can not put links so no pictures: /
I wonder if there is access to the Miscellaneous Files
And is there any other way to get back the files on the phone?
Thanks in advance, Regards

[Q] Encryption question

Hey All,
I have a xperia tablet z, LG G2 and galaxy S3 (soon to be upgraded to S6 or maybe the xperia z4 when it comes out) all of which are rooted. I have been thinking about encryption. I have a couple of question. If I encrypt my tablet/phone am I still be able to plug it into a computer and transfer files, say like if I have a word doc from work and I edit it on my tablet, can I then transfer back to my computer via both the cord and email? Next question what is the best encryption method out there. Is it the stock encryption on most Android OS's or is there a better software version I can DL?
thanks in advance.

[Q] Change Default USB mode

I'm posting here as the forum specific to my device doesn't seem to have enough exposure and I don't think the solution I'm seeking is device specific as such. I had posted this without any replies.
I would like to know where the configuration for the default USB connection mode is stored. Ever since I started using an SD card, connecting the phone to a PC would always start mass storage mode, making many apps unusable.
Running a Custom ROM variation of the stock Huawei P7 -L10 on android 4.4.2 (EMUI 2.3).
Phone is rooted.
Many thanks!

Android box - Two problems one created another..

Hi all,
I have purchased a T3 Mini Android box running Android 7.1.
I initially had no problems with it however the box for some reason stopped being able to write data to the SD card I am wondering if something I hit in developer options messed it up. To be honest if I ever change anything in there I change it back if it causes and issue so im not even 100% sure thats the problem. I have already tried all methods to get the SD card going and still am unable to write data via the android box to the card however when I use WinSCP and get into the box I am able to drag and drop data to the SD card just fine the card also works normally on my Windows computer aswell so I can confirm there is no problem with the SD card itself.
While trying to work out if it was an dev option I had changed I turned off USB debugging thinking if its off I can turn it back on. Sure enough it created a new problem for me that being that the remote will no longer work with the box.
All I would like to do is get the remote going and basically reset this box to how it was when it came in the box I got it it (when the remote was working I did try the reset function in the settings menu to wipe the box which had no effect to solve the SD card issue). I would really appreciate it if someone could please help me.
I am able to ping my android box as it was connected to my wifi prior to the remote disabling.
Thanks in advance,
Bandit.
Ok the remote issue has been solved but I still can't get the android box to write data to the sd card any help please?
