Got my TMo S5 yesterday and started playing around. Today, I installed Xposed, and as soon as it rebooted, S Health has stopped working ever since. I keep getting "HealthService has stopped working" message, and it's gone after a while. Now I can't even run S Health. Any suggestion?

Yup. It is a known issue with Xposed on the s5. Try flashing a Rom like omega from the international forums. It works perfectly and has shealth working.

Recently Installed CM9 agrabrens 7.1 fantastic btw! I turned do not disturb on last night and after disabling it I no longer recieve texts on my cell phone off data. It seems that Google voice has stopped forwarding my text messages.
I have tried flashing other roms wiping data and deactivating my google voice account and no luck. I am able to send messages via the stock app fine just not receive them.
Any idea what I should do to approach this?
Thanks
I have the same problem. I am glad I am not alone. I am thinking about reverting to complete stock and then seeking technical support. Why do you think it is a Google Voice issue? Did you flash VM Firmware?

I just flashed MeanRom and the issue went away. Unexpectedly reflashed cm9 agrabren again and still no messages....
It just started happening suddenly I know that my configurations are correct.
I may try a superwipe
When I flashed into MeanRom all my messages came flooding in thank god so I didn't lose them up in the cloud but i like cm9 i Don't wanna lose texting...
Did you flash Virgin Mobile Firmware?
My messaging has not been working for a month. During this period I have tried many ROMs. I am not sure if this is ROM related.
Yes but I stripped the boot loader out of it so I am on boot 1.4 and also flashed back to 2.17 but maybe I haven't done anything other than that. But why would it be fine then randomly stop working.
I haven't tried any others from mean ROM which worked and agrabrens. I also have a kernel of he who must not be named installed I tried without it as well and problem remained. Was running great until this morning.

Bump Issue still exists
Finally I was able to get messaging back using stock app. When I disabled Google Voice I started getting error Msg 2134 and solution to it is to unblock text on the phone through Sprint's website. Damn Sprint, even they didn't know about it.
My Sprint > My Preferences > Block Texts > unblock all. And you messaging should start in a few minutes.
If this doesn't work try disabling your Google Voice account and then try it again. You might have to try different browser or wait a little bit.
Hello there, I currently encounter a very annoying problem with Google Play, of which solution is nowhere to be found:
1. Using stock ROM, Google Play becomes extremely slow and most of the time not working at all (Network error), while other applications still work well.
2. Everytime I factory reset, it works for about 5 minutes at reasonable speed, then the same problem occurs again.
3. Tried to reverse back to 4.1.1 but nothing changes.
4. Same problem with different WIFI networks and 3G.
5. Jelly Bam (haven't tried other ROMs yet but I believe they would) fixed the problem completely, but its lack of Samsung Apps and other amazing features (like Smart Stay, S Voice, S Note, ...) quickly made me reverse to stock ROM.
After trying every trick found on the internet (reinstall Google Play, clear the cache,...) with no success, and after two days struggling I am now completely exhausted defeated. My only hope is you guys who have had this problem before could help me fix it.
Thanks a trillion.
I recently had a lot of problem signing in, it turned out for some reason my WiFi and phone didn't want to play game with wpa2 but after changing router to just wpa and resetting all working again, I've seen intermittent reports along similar lines sporadically ever since s3 release
Did you try using proxies?

No, because I haven't got the faintest idea about that kind of gobbledegook as you well know

Yes, I did, soneone suggested 0.0.0.0:8080 but that blocks internet connection to all other applications.
I've discovered that uninstalling Google Play updates will help, but only for 5 minutes or so. After which time the problem persists again.
Now my only solution is to uninstall Google Play updates, (then the app will ask for updating at first run), install some apps as quickly as possible before the connection goes down again. Basically I have to repeat that process every second app downloaded, and that drives me insane!!!

That's interesting but in my case even 3G won't work, and the madness is that Google Play works crazily well in custom ROMs like Jelly Bam and like sh*t in stock ROMs.

I feel the pain, took me 10 days to finally get mine working, I did everything you did multiple times, exact same scenario, uninstall updates, get a connection, next time I go back to it,bam, no connection, tried different Roms, flashed to stock, everything!
I had something similar.
What I did was adding a second Google account, deleting the first one, log in, adding the first account back, then deleting the second account, and log in again.
Works for me hoops it's working for you.

I'm having an issue with this app. It works perfectly fine when on WiFi, but not at all when on cellular data...it just says, "Oops, something went wrong. Hit Refresh to load the page again."
I'm currently running SlimBean. I had the same issue on Paranoid KANGdroid and Paranoid Android.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this thing working? It's hands down the best sports app!
I'm on SlimBean and just installed TheScore app, turned off WiFi and turned on data. I ran the app no problem.
Try uninstall, then reinstalling.
Nice to see another XDA'er from Barrie.

Hey...just came back to find this reply.
I just tried uninstall/reinstall...no dice. I really wish I could get this working.
I get an error at each boot of vzwavservice stopped working. I don't know if this is important or not but it is annoying.
I am going to try to upload a cap of it.
I can't figure out how to load the SC of it from mobile.
You are not getting much response because pretty much everyone had that problem months ago and discussed it to death back then. I think it turned out to be a conflict between that bit of useless bloatware, McAfee Antivirus maybe it was - renamed by Verizon, and a Google Services update?
Anyway, root your G3 and freeze or uninstall that app.

Once you're rooted, you can simply freeze that vzwavsservice app and problem solved. Won't hurt a thing.
The problem also disappears if you take the Verizon OTA update.
Hello!
I'm still using a SGS3 I9300, 4.3 which suddenly started crashing/FREEZING regularly. Took me days to work out the issue. Have done multuple FR and got it running well now. Not rooted ever.
It seems to work fine, as long as I uninstall all PlayStore updates, and then it works well, with occasional freezes if I have loads of intensive apps back on it. Playstore on the factory version has no connection to download any apps or get permissions for apps. Nor will it update itself .
I have another S3 on 4.1.2 that works fine still....and no problems with running the same apps on it. I sideload apps from that onto it, or use Samsung Apps.
Play Store never updates itself in the faulty S3, so that's a clue as to whether its the motherboard or power ic I assume? Whatever is responsible for updating it? Tried over Weeks now.. it just says no connection (Playstore).
If i sideload various versions of Playstore, then they work briefly, and allow connections to verfy/register apps like Poweramp, but in seconds the phone freezes and I need to hard reset to get the phone off and on again. And then uninstall all Playstore updates again ASAP and eventually the phone runs well again.
I am guessing its as the power drain is too much as when Playstore triea to run it connects with various apps, but like I said it won't automatically update itself either.
OS 4.3 should still update via Playstore I believe, 4.1.2 I reckon also.
Anyone know an answer please? as where the issue is....with Playstore not updating itself, AND crashing/freezing my phone constantly when I put a working Playstore on it.
TIA
