Well, for texters only but this can be a handy app.
Can anyone who owns a Z2 test this out and share their score? I was able to do 27 in my first try with my Xperia Ray.

on the Z2?

I've got large hands
Not sure if that makes a difference besides assisting in my clumsy-ness

FPS capped at 56?

I ran a few benchmarks, and I noticed that on all of them the FPS never went any higher than 56. It seems strange that the max FPS on all my benchmarks was 56 or around there. Am I just imagining things?

hope not, we're gonna have to look into this
Hmm..all the benchmarks and all the games online I have seen were at 56fps as well :/...
but then gain maybe its a android 2.1 limitation? also..is the I/O fixed in the vibrant on release or you gotta patch it?
or maybe its capped for battery reasons...
I had a buddy test his droid x and its getting 63fps on 2.1. Something is definitely up.
Quadrant never goes over 56 fps... Definetely capped there.

Yeah it just stops at 56. Either its all a big coincidence, or its capped. lol
so is the program capped or the phone?
Hard to say at this point...but then again..56 fps is good enough..I can't imagine wanting anything to run faster....
Isnt there a point where the human eye cant recognize a certain framerate? Although its never good to be capped.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Yeah, I don't really mind if it is capped at 56. The phone runs smooth enough. It was just something I noticed and was wondering if it was indeed the case.
Is not the app. Speedforge stops at 56 too and the droidx goes into the 60s
lol, oh God, my phone MAY be capped at a whopping 56FPS. HAHA.

Lol, like I said, it doesn't bother me. Its just something that I noticed while running some benchmarks. Though it does make me wonder, why cap it at 56 and not just go ahead and cap it at 60?
I seem to remember an article about this a while back. IIRC, it was due to the camera video recording or something. Can anyone find this article?

I wonder if it's an AMOLED limitation? It seems bad as it's artificially limiting what the phone can do. Limit to 75-80fps? sure. 56 though? ugh.
Yeah, a 56fps cap shouldn't really matter, but it does bug the hell out of me when running benchmarks such as Neocore
Wait a second....yep! No 57s here. All 56s! The conspiracy deepens...DAMN YOU SAMSUNG! DAMN YOU TO HELL!
*gasp* are we sure samsung is a SOUTH Korean company? Hmmm someone should look into this. I am fairly certain the north is behind the slow Froyo update....

App launch speed

OMG! Kim K posted another selfie with tons of cleavage! Rate this thread to express how quickly apps launch on the honor 5X. A higher rating indicates that even the most intensive apps launch quickly and without hesitation, even if they are no longer in RAM.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Good speed unless it is opened already. If it is 4th or 5th app in the recent apps, it reopens it again. i.e RAM management is not great
poor ram management
A bit slow
Not good
my phone will take some time to open any app, its almost an year with the phone and now its becoming too slow...

App launch speed is fast compared to other midrange phones.
Out of 10 scores, I will mark it 8/10 considering it`s price.

Yes it is. No issues in 10 months of usage.
App launch speed is a little slow. Maybe because I got used to the 6X speed.
its moderate
Good speed. No noticeable hangs.

What is the difference between 4GB and 6GB Ram in Mate 10 Pro?

I wonder if someone compared the performance.
Don't have two phones in order to compare them but it's obvious that 6gb ram phone is better in multitasking...

Multitasking is not an issue since 2013. Performance is still a benchmark like app opening speed and gaming.

Anyway, i think that there is not a really difference in today's usage. The only difference is that it would keep apps in memory longer, assuming that it is coded correctly.

So whats up with the Mi 8 benchmark scores?...

I don't think this article was bad against the Mi 8, I think they just tried to give a explanation for the benchmarks in the review
does it actually have bad thermal dissipation? bad review unit ?
I wonder since some people still waiting on how to achieve 300k antuntu score.

Apparently Xiaomi have capped the Snapdragon 845 because of thermal issues, which I imagine is heat dissipation yes

No offense, the benckmark tools is a gimmick thing. I personally don't care benchmark stuff included like AMD or NVIDIA. They're well paid by OnePlus & others too.
Dont know how gsmarea get such a bad score. I was on 9.5 Stable with my Mi8 and got about 269.000 points. With Miui10 Open Beta i havent tested, will try it later.

One guy achieved 290k on MIUI 10 China beta version so I think we can achieve it when we get the MIUI 10 stable build. Cause when mi6 was announced they told that it can achieve 182k but it even got 200k antutu score so I think there's a problem with the rom I guess. With custom roms it will perform like a beast.
I got from GSM Arena article that Mi8 is tuned for sustained performance and actual real world performance also, as after 10-15 minutes it even improved from 75% to 77%, but other Snapdragon 845 processors are tuned for benchmarks 5-10 mimutes performance and after that they fall down hard with crazy throttling...

But the performance loss increased until the device was cooled down completely, that isn't sustaining performance?

Question Poor performance, please help

Hi all!
I recently purchased this phone and I'm really disapointed with the performance. Here are the main points:
Antutu scores are like 900k (sometimes less), and I've seen a lot of people scoring over 1kk.
Genshin impact runs REALLY bad, never hitting 60 fps and often going under 30 (before throttling). Results are a lot worse than a snapdragon 870...
The phone overheats randomly
I did a hard reset and installed everything fresh, without copying from other device or anything. Any idea of what can be going on?
Thank you!
Gotten Monday device? 8 gen 1s from Samsung are bad enough for Qualcomm to swap to TSMC now. I would give it back if possible.
Afaik, even after factory resetting your device, if the problem still persists, doesn't that mean there's some problem with the hardware. As the above member said, you should try refunding it.
Same here. 894254 with GT mode ON on global version. Does anyone know what to do to get better results?

What you've done is discover the same issues found by a majority of reviewers which I hope Realme will fix in the software. The phone has a very large passive cooling heatsink, but during long gaming sessions, (or similar) the phone will get a little warm. As far as antutu scores I'm running a benchmark right now. I'll post it as soon as possible.
Here is the screenshot of my device.
I got this phone for $1050 and so far it's great I don't have any issues as you said but there is the heating problem and it'll get resolved in the next update I guess!

Just so you know Apple devices also have bugs and Apple is slow to fix them unless they involve security issues.

All phones have issues and they'll get resolved in the updates so you don't have to worry. The Oneplus is the only phone which is worse with major problems! Realme is a good phone.

In the last update Realme may have lowered performance in order to reduce the heat issue some people are complaining about. That is still a fine score. I will make another antutu benchmark and post it here later.
I ran another antutu benchmark. I made sure all processes on the phone were closed except antutu. The score is over 1 million. Build is RMX3301_11_A.14
According to Antutu my score was the number 1 ranking
Here is another screenshot showing my score ranking in the android app.
Okay I resetet my Smartphone now and got another Rank xD. But I have to say my phone was Cold for the Benchmark!
That is an outstanding benchmark.
