4.2.2 Update Failed - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

I have a verizon S4 (SCH-i545), I had it rooted, saw the 4.2.2 update today and downloaded and it failed... I figured because I was rooted.
I tired to unroot today and things have gone bad. Using odin tool and following a tutorial Odin failed.
I now see:
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
In the top left:
odin mode
product name: sch-i545
current bianary: samsung official
system status: official
knox kernal lock: 0x0
know warranty void: 0x0
csb-config-lsb 0x30
write protection enable
emmc burst mode enabled.
I need to just restore it with the stock firmware but apparently the one I download which was labeled "Verizon Stock 4.2.2" and not SCH-i454 must have been the wrong one.
Does anyone have a RELIABLE link for the 4.2.2 firmware? Or is there something I should be doing beyond getting a reliable file and restoring again. I just installed kies and it wont connect to the phone to do an energency firmware recovery.
Also, what is this "i9500, i9505, i9505G, i9506" that is this forum title, my s4 isnt any of those as far as I know and there isnt a i545 anywhere?
:/ I wish I had found this forum first...

If you don't care about root, use the Odin VRUFNC5 file that Surge has posted HERE

[Q] Sending S4 For Warranty, VRUEMJ7 And Flash Counter Question!

Hey guys. I was trying to go back to stock everything so I could send my phone back to Verizon for warranty purposes. So I pushed the MDK stock file I found on XDA and then the device alerted me that there was an update from Verizon, the VRUEMJ7 4.3 one. So I let that go through as well. I figured I was in the clear.
However, I later discovered after reading some more that these new Samsungs have a binary flash counter where it tells you how many times someone has tripped the firmware. I wanted to use the TriangleAway file to remove it all but since it requires root and root is not available for the MJ7 at the moment, I have no idea how to clear it.
Is there a way to see how many times I have tripped the counter? Currently my Odin Download Mode reads exactly as following:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SCH-1545
CURRENT BINARY Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
eMMC Burst Mode: enabled

Click to collapse
And in the "About" section in settings, it does say Samsung Official there as well. But if they are actively looking at the trip counter, I don't know if my warranty will go through or not. Does anybody have any advice on the issue? Any way to know the the actual number of trips without rooting? All suggestions and tips are more than welcome! Thanks for taking the time, appreciate it!

What you see is as stock as it gets.

SGH-I527 Question

MOVED
I have been searching since yesterday and need a little help. A friend bought a Samsung Mega from someone on Craigslist and has been a nightmare for him. It seems as if the guy was messing with things he shouldnt have been.
The phone will only boot into Download Mode, but the Stock AT&T image will need Flash. It seems as if the phone was updated to Kit Kat, and now it will not flash the stock rom (because it is 4.2). I have tried Samsung Kies, but Kies will not do Update or Recover the Firmware. The phone is recognized by my PC, but thats about the most I've gotten out of it.
In download mode I get the following:
ODIN MODE
Product Name: SGH-I527
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Knox Kernel Lock: 0x0
Knox Warranty Void: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
Bootloader AP SWREV: 4
Write Protection: Enable
Any help would be great. The warranty is voided due to third party screen replacement. Just need any advice. Thanks.
Not sure this post belongs in development.
Have you tried flashing 4.2 with odin, then do ota to kitkat?
Here is the link to the Odin flashable.

Download Mode/Flash Counter (Stock) What is it supposed to look like?

I just flashed my MDK device back to stock in Odin because it is having hardware problems and I need to get it exchanged. I tried taking an OTA update to put it on the latest build but the update keeps failing leading me to believe that the system is not fully stock. Now my question is, does anyone know what the flash counter in Download mode is supposed to look like? Everything on my screen says "Official" but I don't know what a stock flash counter is supposed to display. This is what I see when I boot into Download Mode:
ODIN MODE
Product Name: SCH-I545
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
CSB_OEM_CONFIG_LBS: 0x30
Write Protection: Enable
Can anyone with a stock phone confirm that this is what it's supposed to look like. Thanks!
You can just flash a nc5 (latest firmware) tar file in odin to update.
It's a shame it's on MDK.

help. someone rooted or did something to phone i just bought

I just bought a SM-G900T here in iowa where I live
this is an "I-Wireless" phone which must have something to do with T-Mobile as I see some T-Mobile stuff in there like the wifi handoff
anyhow someone either tried to root it or install a rom or something
when I hold vol-down + power + home button I get to the "ODIN MODE" screen and here is what it shows:
Product Name: SM-G900T
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
Know Warranty Void: 0x1 (2)
qualcomm secure boot: enable (csb)
AP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1 and P1
UDC START
in settings
Galaxy S5
SM-G900T
Android 4.4.2
G900TUBU1ANCH
kerner version = 3.4.0-964333 ([email protected] #1)
build number = NCE-G900T-4.4.2-IWI-061014-1.0.3
MDF v1.0 Release 2
VPN v1.4 Release 1
and of course Device Status = Custom
where should I go from here?
should I just try and flash a tmboile android 5.1.1 official rom over this or will there be a problem since it says custom?
thanks
bump
Odin the latest firmware and be done with it. PO definitely flashed it and tripped the knox warranty.
There's not really any problem with those saying custom or having the knox flag tripped. Seeing as you bought it secondhand it won't have any sort of warranty anyway. Just do as Omgbossis21 suggested and flash the latest firmware (OF6) and be done. That won't reset the knox flag but like I said, it doesn't really matter. Seeing as it's already tripped, why not just flash Muniz_ri's rooted stock rom? If you do that you can also use the batch debloat tool he created and you'll have a fast, rooted, bloat-free phone running 5.1.1.
From your current android version, You'd just have to Towelroot, install SuperSU & FlashFire, then flash the stock rooted rom in the dev section. It's that easy.

GT-N5100 FIrmware Rollback. Bootloader not accepting below 4.4.2

Hi Seniors and developers.
I have a serious issue and am sure u have been through this before too.
Let me explain what i did and what i want to do with my device. ( GT-N5100 INU )
Around year back or so i installed 4.4.2 KK Poland version on my device ( GT-N5100 ) over 4.2.2 JB Indian version.
by that time everything was fine i was happy and there was no sign of KNOX also, download mode never displayed KNOX on 4.4.2 at that time.
Soon i figured out some apps does not support ROOT on 4.4.2 e.g GAME CIH etc. And battery consumption amazingly bad on 4.4.2.
SO i decided to roll back to original stock 4.2.2.
And the game starts.
I fugured out i cannot rollback to 4.2.2 JB because of 4.4.2 bootloader which is now showing KNOX warranty VOID 0x1.
KNOX warranty void is not issue for me because my device is already 2 year old.
All I WANT IS TO GO BACK TO 4.2.2 WITH ITS ORIGINAL BOOTLOADER.
NOTE: I can roll back to 4.1 JB, beacuse its not having sboot.bin and tz.img files. Everything works fine 4.1 properly installed BUT, ODIN MODE shows SYSTEM STATUS: custom, CURRENT BINARY: custom. Even if am installing Samsung official stock rom.
----------------------------------
Tried many tricks and ways like i removed sboot.bin and tz.img ( doing that device stucked on "SAMSUNG GT-N5100 " logo, not even animation screen. Again i figured out that removing file left bootloader same and system changed.). I reinstalled 4.4.2 KK poland version and systen worked well again. then interchanged bootloader files with 4.2.2 and i stucked again. same reason i guess.
I rooted and disabled KNOX, but still i cannot overwrite 4.4 bootloader with 4.2.
Please forgive if am irritating you guys. But my question is.
Is there any way to over write 4.4 bootloader?
Is there any ways to install 4.2 official indian rom again?
Everything written on device are codes, can we change something so that i accepts 4.2 bootloader.
Again KNOX tripping is not problem for me.
Can i go back to original state when i bought device. EVEN KIES FAILED TO RECOVER. ( IT DETECTS ONLY )
I tried many times , every time odin failed on sboot.img and tz.img. and gives "SW REV. Invalid magic string" on download mode screen.
IF MY BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED, HOW CAN I UNLOCK IT. MY DEVICEIS ROOTED AND KNOX IS DISABLED.
FLASHING VIA SD CARD GIVES "SIGNATURE VERIFICATION FAILED" I TOGGLED THAT USING REVOVERY BUT AFTER THAT IF GIVES INSTALLATION ABORT.
Recovery also shows e: mount.data failed!, etc.
Thanks in advance please help.
