Any preinstall notes?
What are the bugs and what all works?
What's the difference between Dhacker's build and Dtrail1's build for the XT910 (umts_spyder)?
Hmm so far everything i use is working for me. Others have had problems with exchange but I don't use that. But 4.2.2 had intermittent sound problems that I am waiting to see if it reoccurs in 4.3. Also Does anyone else have this problem? After a full charge with the phone still connected to the charged...does the phone become very sluggish? Even after unplugging from the charger it will still be a little sluggish but will eventually pick itself up and work smoothly again.
I put a discussion form in the development part also but ether one.

Running dhackers 11-8 built on XT910 (UMTS Spyder) here.... All seems to be working, but getting random shutdowns (not rebooting) - twice today so far.
A really good start for 4.3 imho!

Installation is just like CM 10.1. A few bugs are confirmed. Basic functions are almost all working.
The right link for Dtrail's rom is http://downloads.crackflasher.com/?dir=Devices/Motorola/Droid Razr/CyanogenMod 10.2
I tried the Dhacker's rom, just had some randoms shutdown, and focal not work properly.

XT912, Safestrap
I would need an .apk for an alternative keyboard.
August 11th build working great on my XT912. (August 10th build was randomly rebooting & wouldn't come back after the screen turned off.)
Tried PicSphere, but couldn't get it to work.
Everything else I've tried is working great. Very smooth. I'm pleasantly surprised how stable this early build is! Great work!!!!
For all those commenting on focal, remember its still in development. Especially picsphere on a device without a gyroscope.

Hi P768 user, I've built CM 10.1.3 RC2 for P768. Now it run on my phone.
I use CM 10.1.3 RC2 source and I'll build rom only from RC or stable branch. I use Asia region for GPS configuration, so it may have problem with users in South America. I didn't add any performance boost, it pure CM with disable sdcard emulation. Plus fixed keyboard layout for Home wake feature (Enable/disable in Display setting).
If someone interest to test it I'll post it soon.
OK, I don't think I need more test because I only disable sdcard emulation on this rom. So I decide to publish it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2438223
If there're bugs it almost come from CM 10.1.3 RC2 bugs because I don't touch anything in kernel or rom code (except disable sdcard emulate). I use P760 device tree as base for P768 and almost every configuration are the same so there should be no problem in that part either.
For GPS I just look into cm gps config and found that all configuration are the same so it should work on all regions.
I tried your rom.. it works fine until when I flash gapps... i get AOSP keyboard force close...
my phone is a p768.. bootloader unlocked..Philippine Version
wrong gapps perhaps?? BTW. good job on the porting.

Did you do full wipe before installing?
You can try to clear dalvik cache and cache in CWM then reboot.
I don't think a clean installation will get that error. Can you tell me which link you download (multiupload or dev host) so I can try to test it? And please file md5 to make sure that your download is valid.
For google apps you should flash a latest version for JB in the link I posted.
EDITED: For Gapps i downloaded from Goo.im (the link you provided for gapps).. for the rom I downloaded from multiupload...hmm.. I'll try to download and flash again... I used clean install method..

Hi everybody,
i really hope someone can help me with the following issue. I am currently on ResurrectionRemix-M-V5.7.3-20160820-kenzo and i can't uninstall apps.
Everytime i click on "uninstall" my phone is rebooting (i instantly see the resurrection bootscreen then) when it's booted the app is still installed.
Also i can't change the displaylock. When i try to change the displaylock method, enter for example a pin and press "ok" it just throws me back to the settings
screen. Exactly this issue i have with other roms too.
So here once more shortly - CM related issues:
can't uninstall apps - reboot's
can't change displaylock method - crashes
I think this issue is related to CM itself, because i had exactly the same issue with CM13 Snapshot and also with all Nightlies above the latest Snapshot.
I also tried the last days the MIUI 8 developer ROM - 6.10.13 , there i didn't have this issue.
On MIUI i had other issues - for example:
heavy battery draining
lockscreen / fingerprint settings crashes permanently
bad performance
I still have a big logfile from MIUI which contains very much systeminformation.
I can also provide catlog files if someone tells me what actions i shall log?
What i already tried:
reinstall ROM
factory reset
tried different roms - not only CM
deleted settings data and retried
Did you install the CM firmware? Also that's a very old build of that ROM is it not?
It is the latest built , i just installed it today. So it is a fresh and clean Installation .
It's not the latest build. Please re-read the thread on the ROM. The version linked in the OP of that thread IS NOT the latest.
Okay, but are these issues related to the Version? AS i mentioned, i had same issues with cm13 snapshot and cm13 latest nightlies.
I downloaded and installed the Rom from here https://basketbuild.com/devs/resurrectionremix/kenzo
It is the latest!

Those are not the latest build. Check that thread again, there are link to the 10 Oct build somewhere there. And you need to flash CM firmware first before installing any official CM13 based roms.

Hey everybody, i want to share the status to this thread.
I flashed the latest "Radon" Kernel and all my issues disappeared. I can uninstall apps and change the lockscreen Method.
I just wanted to share this result if someone else has these problems. And also it means that anything might be wrong in the cm13 kernel.
Thanks again to all people responding to my thread

so, i was using cm13 for the last few months on my rn3pro.
since the very first install, i flashed radon kernel.
(i actually didn't know uninstalling apps cause soft reboot on cm kernel)
recently i flashed resurrection remix rom, didn't flash any custom kernel.
i was facing exact the same problem, phone soft reboots while uninstalling app....
flashed radon kernel, and problem's gone!

That's a negative. My understanding is the soak test is needed in the plus because of finger print scanner issues. I have the XT1625 and it runs great without the soak test. Flash the quark kernel too. Waaaaaay better benchmark results.
stkpxl said:
I just installed it. Definitely didn't need the soak test. VoLTE works too when I called my voicemail to check. No crash on the Gallery app either like I've seen reported. And the best part for me is that Republic Wireless works with it and the app works too! Usually they don't support custom ROMs but this time everything works.

Glad to hear you're all set up. Try quark kernel when you get a chance. Makes sure you get 2.0,because the other ones caused a boot loop for me.
I've just rooted my phone, I'm in 6.0.1, I just need to download and put this in SdCard, later Install w/o gapps and it will works?
I flashed the ROM and wiped and then flashed gapps, gallery is crashing for me.

Were you trying to install the arm64 gapps? I could only install the arm gapps.
I updated to the last nightly build which seems to have fixed the gallery bug for me, but now the camera can't access the sdcard to save pictures or videos when the card is set as internal.
Running 12222016 as of this morning. Have been using it since it first hit the streets. Seems a little unstable. While it's running, it runs great. However, for no apparent reason it reboots my device. I can't seem to pinpoint the cause as it happens sporadically and randomly.
I noted that the blue light filter "sort of" works. It has to be manually activated. Tried the automatic route but it's hit or miss.

That would be because the "other ones" are for MM based ROM's and 2.0/2.2 are for Nougat.

Im a dumb, I was installing other gapps, now Im not getting any issue, only about video recording but I'll fix it flashing a boot.img.
Thanks to all.
I always install ROM boot it then go to browser and search Gapps it automatically finds the one I need then just download and reboot to recovery and install so I don't have any issues the Roms are all comparable for bothering devices but I think arm is different between devices if that helps anybody

Hi,
I bought a Moto G4 for Christmas. I'll receive it tomorrow, and so I'm looking for a good custom rom. I had the Moto G 2014 LTE (thea) running CM14.1. I notice that the last CM build available for athene is the 20161225, and I'd like to know if it's stable. Does it have an option to make volume buttons control media volume instead of ringtone, for instance ?
Thank you, 'n have a nice day !
Yo is cm 14.1 gonna get xposed
I installed the CM 14.1 12/25 nightly on a XT1625 motoG4 non-plus. Upon reboot, the OS asked me to input my password. It was unable to decrypt my data.
I had a pattern PIN, so I looked up the proper numeric sequence and entered it, and the OS told me "my password was correct but the data was corrupt" and suggested I wipe my phone.
I tried this several times with different passwords, and even with completely incorrect passwords it said it was correct but the data corrupt. So I had to wipe my data. After wiping data, nougat 7.1 came up fine.
Note I have a SDcard set as adaptable storage. My guess (and it is only a guess) is this is what screwed me over.
Has anyone been using this for a while? I know it's nightly, but just curious if it's mostly usable. Would like to get off MM and tired of waiting for Official Nougat

You can use the latest official version of CyanogenMod. So far I had neither bugs nor crashes. The last version is cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY-athene.zip
Otherwise, you can also use the official soak test from Motorola. This is also based on Anroid 7.0

Thanks! I found the latest Nightly and also an updated LineageOS (replacement for Cyanogen since they've stopped) version, might try them both out. I was perusing the Soak Test and saw it doesn't work with XT1625 devices unfortunately. I have the XT1625 non-Amazon version with Republic Wireless. Saw someone posted earlier in this thread that Republic Wireless was working fine on CM 14.1 Nightly, so that gave me some incentive as well.

The real problem about it is the updates... will it be supported continuously or just 1 month. Considering PA's track records I doubt they will be able to sustain it for long. But I still have my fingers crossed.. Can you please do me a favor and install the HDLR camera zip found in the themes and apps forum in n6p and check if it works? if it does I will be flashing PA right away.
Also @seangeezy122 please do check the kernel and grab a couple of screenies

I'm kinda sad. I've downloaded the rom twice now, and I've been clean flashing it, but my Nexus 6P boots up and then shortly freezes at the setup screen and reboots. It does this continuously. I'm using the latest BeansGapps, if that helps.
EDIT: I flashed just the ROM without Gapps and it works. Maybe my BeansGapps are corrupt and need to be re-downloaded. I'll give it a try.
EDIT 2: Okay, this ROM doesn't like BeansGapps. It restarted once, but it's chugging along the setup process just fine now.

did you use the full or mini gapps package
Flashed the rom with openGapps stock package, working fine for the moment. Looks promising but lacks extra features that other roms such as pure and RR have like hold power for flashlight and down right clear all button.
The MD5 hash for the rom file is CE696A1C396864B23F40A37CF9A4C5D6 if anyone is wondering.

Ever since MM PA isnt really about the features but more on the smooth side of the UI and a small handpicked own festures. Thats why before on MM I used some xposed modules to incorporate those small features I miss. Though this lack of features shouldn't be a bother to minimalists like me.
