[Q] Bottom speaker issue - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I've had the Note 3 for T-Mobile for several months now, I bought it close to when it was released. I've been loving it so far, but recently the speaker has been having an issue. Sound for alarms, ringtone, and notification either comes out of the ear speaker or don't happen. However, when I put the phone on speaker during a call, the speaker works just fine. What could cause my phone to stop outputting ringtone and notification to the bottom speaker?
It sucks, I've missed classes because of the alarm not going off.
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a Bluetooth headset attached? I had that problem when it was set to call and media audio. Unchecking "Media audio" fixed it for me.

[Q] sms sound notification when bluetooth earphone is active

Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to have a sound notification when a SMS arrives, also when I have my bluetooth earpiece active. I have the habbit of not holding my phone in my hand when talking, I most of the time use my BT earpiece.
Compared to my iMate Jasjar / aka HTC Universal, I had my phone lying on my desk, BT active, and earpiece on. So when I call came in, the phone ringed, and I picked up by pressing the button on my BT earpiece. When a message came in, the phone made a sound notification, both from the phone, and through my BT earpiece.
On my HD2 the phone rings as usual. But I don't hear a sound notification from the phone, I only hear it when I have my BT earpiece in my ear. But this way I need to have it in my ear all day (.
Is there a way to get sound notification even when BT earpiece is active and turned on?

Sound output issue in Skype

Hello,
I just got a BB White HTC Flyer and I love it. Everything so far seems to work fine but I have a small issue with Skype.
It works but when I am dialing, the ring tone is present only through the headphone output. Not a big deal since once the call is answered the phone switches to external speakers. The headphones are obviously not connected and BT is off.
Also, does anyone know how to get the incoming call ring a little louder. I can hear the vibrator motor more than the ring

Notifications & Headphones

Anyone able to solve the problem that seemly all Android phones have?
- If headphones are plugged in and we get an incoming call, the ringtone will play on both speaker and headphones.
- If headphones are plugged in and we get a notification, the sound will only play through speaker.
What I want is that nothing comes out of the speakers and only through the headphones.
So far, I am able to use Tasker to put the phone in Silent mode when headphones are plugged in and then toggle it off when headphones are not in. Problem with this is that the phone won't vibrate or ring at all when there's an incoming call and the same with texts/e-mails.
Mine only does through headphones. Newts latest release and SlimROM latest.

That's weird cause I get notifications/ringer switched when the headphone jack is in use and then the speaker is used when the jack is not being used... o.o
I think you can try DSP Manager. If I remember correctly it has an option to control those settings...
I'm using latest SlimROM...I've had this problem with every single Android I've owned.
I'm guessing no one else notices this or has this problem.
I found a Tasker script that might work:

[Q] HTC one speaker blown

My top right speaker keeps blowing. It sounds like text message alerts, phone calls, and the alarm blow the speaker. I have been through 7 phones from bestbuy all the same exact issue. I try to keep the sound settings down but when I'm in call I have to turn the phone all the way up to hear who I'm talking to and dont remember to always turn the sound back down before I get another message or phone call and it blows the speaker. It will just crackle and first and then completely not work. Bestbuy is blaming me for it blowing but everything is stock settings and everything... Anyone else having an issue?
Do you have any volume or sound apps installed? There is quite a bit of power going to those speakers as-is, so any equalizers, or volume booster could possibly cause a short.
I had my volume at about 85% today listening to music, and not even the slightest crackle occurred.
