Hey everyone I'm having some issues on my S2 screen, I've been looking some horizontal lines on my screen after it goes into deep sleep and I turn it on again. I see like 6 straight lines on my screen. The weird thing is that after using my phone for like 5/10 mins those lines are gone. . Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks!

I am using the latest stock rom from Asus number 9.4.2.15 and from time to time after the device was idle I get horizontal black lines across half of my left screen. I know I am not the only one(after digging around the web) with this problem and wanted to ask if there is a solution and is it a software probleam?

I too am facing the same problem and I am also on 9.4.2.15. It happens only occasionally. I wiped the device and that seems to have reduced the frequency, but still happens.
I just replaced an oled screen and digitizer for a Samsung Galaxy S3. Everything seemed to go ok except when I turn the phone on the Samsung logo is green. The entire screen also has a green color to it (more than just a tint). Is it possible I just received a faulty screen? Or did I do something wrong? What could be causing this? I am fixing this phone for my friend's wife and would appreciate any help I could get.
possibly a bad connection
I did try the lcd connection again and that didn't change anything. How else can I check the connection?
Could it be anything else?
If not the connection, faulty screen

For the last three weeks, my 920 has had an intermittent flickering/phasing at the top 1cm - 1.5cm of the screen. Flicker visible in lock screen, start, apps list, well, everything.
Has anyone else come across this or is it just better to warranty return the phone, it's 8 months old.
I have the same issue.
But my entire screen flickers.

Hi folks, Haven't been here since my HTC tilt days. Wife dropped s3 in toilet and didn't take out battery right away. I took it apart about 10 hours later. Started with screen flicker. Dried it again over night and used hair dryer. I've used the on board diagnostic and all works fine except the dimmer test. Colors come up fine but when I tap to dim it dims and starts to flicker, goes black, flickers back, sometimes stays black or reboots. I've done a factory reset. I haven't seen any general screen flicker since. When it goes into sleep/screen saving mode it must go black for about 15 seconds before it is able to wake it up again.
Anyone know if this is motherboard, screen or software issue?
Thanks
Obviously it's a hardware issue dude. Send it to a repair shop because it may needs a new thing.

Thanks. figured I can bypass the problem if I don't let it dim. Set it to sleep only after 10 min. As long as you manually set it to sleep mode with the power button all seems good.

Okay dude.
So it seems that this bypass doesn't hold up. So I used my s3 screen on the wife's motherboard- no problems. Then I used her screen on my motherboard- no problems. Put hers all together - problems start again. Any ideas on that?
update
So to follow up on this. I had to use my wife's water exposed S3 motherboard on my S3. All worked well. I must assume that the wife's screen is bad. I also noticed that this phone drains the battery 2-3 x as fast as it normally would. Anyone have a screen problem do this or is this probable of a screen dysfunction.
So this is the thing, i had been having some big problems with the battery of mi note 5. After 1 year of tryng to find whats killing my battery i found an aplication called system panel 2 and it says there is an "unaccounted" comsume of battery that is 6 times more than the display consume and it only happens when the screen is on. The thing is a friend broke my spen detector and its always on and i think this is killing my battery when the screen is on. I would appreciate it if anyone knew any way to disable the spen so i could verify that i am not wrong and finally resolve my battery problem. Thanks for your attencion.
