[Q] Softbricked, can't get into recovery,HELP with $$!! NYC - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Hey guys,
Long story short.
Flashed Kitkat with S-on (really stupid)
phone rooted
bootloader unlocked
S-On
Now softbricked, can't get into recovery, is able to get in bootloader, phone keeps rebooting.
Tried factory reset, no success
tried adb/fastboot, my pc wasn't able to detect the phone, no device listed
tried all in one flash tool, trying to reflash recovery, no success either cuz phone not found
when usb was plugged in, 'fastboot usb' shows up on phone's screen, but no real communication established. Windows' notification bar shows htc phone unplugged even though it's plugged in.
I guess usb debugging is off, but i don't know how to enable it
anyone had similar problem, any help will be appreciated
any NYC member here, i'm willing to pay 50 bucks for fixing this, sorry i'm poor, that's all i can afford T_T
Thanks in advance!!

Does it connect via Fastboot? The command is "fastboot devices" to check. You could try to flash a ROM through Fastboot, but I've never had any luck with that. Have you tried the RUU method?

[Q] Unlocking the bootloader

Hi, I'm new to the Rezound coming from an X2. I'm loving this phone. I want to unlock the bootloader but I am having issues with this phone. I am following the steps on htcdev.com exactly and when I enter fastboot oem get_identifier_token it stays at waiting for device. I unlocked a droid incredible several months ago so I have done this with a different HTC device before. Anyone know why I cant get it to work on my Rezound. I sent HTC a message about it, I'm hoping they have an answer, but I know the people on this board know alot of stuff about these phones. the software version I am on is 2.01.605.11 any sugestions? Thanks
John
When you start the phone with the volume switch down, you get taken into HBOOT. The first item on the menu is FASTBOOT. You have to put the phone into FASTBOOT (use Volume up/down to navigate to FASTBOOT and then hit the power button to select) before the PC can talk to it. Have you done this?
Assuming your phone's in FASTBOOT, there's a menu that starts with BOOTLOADER. A few lines above this menu you should see the word FASTBOOT in white on a red background. If your USB connection's okay, this should change to FASTBOOT USB a few seconds after plugging in the cable. Is this happening?
yes, It just wont go any further

Do you have USB Debugging enabled on your phone?
yes, as well as allow from unknown sources.
Do you have HTC Sync installed on the PC? Does the PC acknowledge the USB connection when the phone's in fastboot?
htc sync is installed and sees the phone. when in fastboot, as soon as i plug in the usb cable it says fastboot usb
I'm going to try it on another pc and see what happens.
Wish I had more to offer. It doesn't seem like you're doing anything wrong. Good luck!

Uninstall HTC Sync for now.
I tried it on another computer and it worked. So something is pooched on this laptop. Thank you all for your sugestions
Out of curiosity what is the OS on your laptop? I had Windows 8 for a bit and when the new firmware came out I needed to re-lock the bootloader and couldn't because windows 8 and the phone didn't play nice together. As soon as i went back to Windows 7 no issues.
I was using Windows 7 Pro.

S-off fail and phone not recognized by computer HELP

So I tried the S off and I failed a couple of times with the wire trick. My timing was more than likely off. I re-ran the program and tried again. After it rebooted to check my alcohol level like it had the time before it could not find the device. It just kept counting to 45 secs over and over and kept asking me to check device drivers and adb and fastboot. And it worked fine before. Before I even started I checked adb devices.
Now the phone boots to the juopunutbear screen and it when I try to run the program it says that the device is not detected. So I rebooted in hboot and tried to run some adb or fastboot commands and the phone is not detected at all. I tried my mac too and no luck. I tried a different usb cable and no luck either.
So no I cant push anything to my phone and its just reboots to the juopunutbear screen. I think I bricked it. I dont know what to do. I cant push files to the phone. Any help?

I'm not sure what's happening with your computer not seeing the phone, but if you have a microsd adaptor you could get a stock RUU onto your card and flash back to stock.
Edit: or just your boot.img. If you can get into hboot you're not bricked.
Part fix
As previous poster said, put a PH...IMG with boot on it and you'll be able to boot up again. Yours is third phone reported here with USB problem after failed S-0ff.
I can boot my rom, but no radio or wifi, No charging, and no computer can see it for fastboot. Hoping for cure soon.
Thanks guys. I am downloading an RUU now. Hopefully it works. I hope the usb connection is not fubar'd ...but i took the risk so its on me.
Same thing happened to me. I just finished uninstalling HTC Sync and Android SDk, then reinstalled both. Now the drivers are working properly, and computer sees my phone again. This should help.
***edit: this process helped with my computer finding software drivers to connect phone to computer. Before- "Windows could not find drivers for Android device" (device manager in windows)
I could never get it to work in the first place. Cleanflash finds and flashes to it just fine but the s off just can't see my phone once it reboots.

If the phone is rebooting to the screen with the arrow when you press power to enter fastboot then try going to recovery, your regular recovery will probably not show up but another stock hboot menu will. Then try selecting fastboot there and see if you can run fastboot commands without rebooting to arrow screen.

Success getting it to reboot with the boot.img from the rom I was running....But unfortunately the usb is fried. Can not charge the phone or connect to a computer. So I guess that is another potential risk with using this method.
Ouuuuch :/

[Q] Flyer won't stay connected to computer

Just recently I tried to root my device and whilst doing so I seemed to have bricked my device. The screen will flash, connect to my computer, and then disconnect. It will do so whether it's connected to an outlet charger or to my computer. I've tried countless numbers of things such as downloading the ruu and trying to reinstall it. Can anybody help me?
What did you try to do? Are you putting your flyer into fastboot mode?
Flyer
I am trying to get it to stay in fastboot mode so I can try to fix it, I think I corrupted the recovery image or something this is very frustrating! If it would stay in fastboot I would be able to fix it but I need to figure out how to do that. I don't know if this helps but this is what keeps flashing up every few seconds when it's connected to my computer!
Why did you relock your bootloader?
Have you tried loading the ruu image on your external SD and have the system detect on boot?

[Q] fastboot, adb, rsd doesnt work on xt910

Hi, i bought a phone from a guy that said the battery is dead.
i bought new battery, installed, phone works (i was happy), and started to charge it, as new battery had 20%.
after a while it showed 30%, but then i noticed it went back to 20%, untill it died with "white light of death".
i hotwired the battery, let it charge to 80%
tried to switch back to wall charger, but again, although it says its charging battary drains, same with usb cable to pc.
i also noticed that battery drains very quick without any charge, so i thought maybe its firmware issue.
i installed every possible driver and rsdlite, but it just wont connect in adb or fastboot mod
i thought usb port in the phone is damaged, but it shows charge when connected, and also in some option in the bootloader it does recognize the phone as mz 600 something, but that doesnt help.
the phone currently have what seems to be stock GB + stock recovery
i tried to get Safe Strap recovery, but it didnt work.
from what i read the only firmware updates (not rom) are via fastboot.
i probably can flash custom rom via the stock recovery, but im not sure if it would help.
did anyone experience something similar?
Hi all,
I have Motorola XT621 Primus, after some playings with it and trying to root and add RTL patching i got a brick.
Now the status is that i have fastboot mode working but bootloader is locked, no recovery working and no ADB working, no boot too.
I tryed many ways to flash or unlock bootloader but nothing works. Any commands like fstboot oem got output like (...)
Is there any way to unlock bootloader via fastboot and flash new rom or it completely bricked?
Thanks!
if you have fastboot you can flash recovery

Just make sure you have a good battery or you will have to get a factory cable if the battery say battery low.

Get the gb firm, unzip it, and flash one by one the archives, if you don't know how, open the .xml and there are the commands, you can do it in linux/windows, i had a similar problem, cannot flash anything, my razr only turns into fastboot by using factory cable, and wired the battery, flashing couple of files, then i did flashed one by one and get error in webtop, but it work, the razr turn on (i did this in linux), then i where able to charge the battery and connect to windows, run the rsd, put another jb firm (had to download 5-6 'till i get the right) and works like a charm.
You need the android sdk tools, the latest fastboot, your drivers and some good luck. :good:
(Sorry my bad english)
By the way, if you get the "battery low" line, it doesn't matter, you need to use the factory cable + the battery wire to charger metod, do it and you'll get the O.K.
I have exactly the same problem.. Can we do something vía stock recovery?

[Q] htc one m7 att soft brick wont connect to any pc

hello long time no see, so i have this htc one, its a soft brick i bought from a buddy, it wont go past htc logo, it will however get into bootloader and try to get into CWM recovery but just freezes at htc logo. when in fastboot i plug it in to any pc and it never says fastboot usb like it should. i have tried device manager, drivers, diffrent ports, diffrent cords, etc. i even went as far as dropping in a working motherboard ito this frame and i found the charging port works perfectly and transfers data fine with the working board. i have tried toolkits, CMD usind adb and fastboot. im at a lost please help.
this is what the kid did do it.
I had a Sprint One that acted like that.
I put it into fastboot mode on the phone and ran a RUU and it worked fine even though it did not say "fastboot USB".
You did not say if you tried to run fastboot commands.
start with
fastboot devices
