WTF!!!! What can I do? I root the stock room and installed market enabler and nothing changed........
Please How can I put the video hub to work?
thanks
If they are doing a per-IP filtering for content distribution, there is very little you can do.
You could install Tor, but then your network would be crawling.
What do you mean by my network will be crawling ?
Thanks for the help

It means that your connection would be very slow.

Will see what I can do...the strange thing is that there is to little Intel about thisnom the web.....I'm probably not the only one with country restrictions on video hub...

Here in Romania it does not work either. pretty sad about this. maybe changing the samsung account country will do something? i will try later.
Doesn't work in Jersey, Channel Islands, either. Sounds like a bit of a con, not working in so many countries. The offer has timed-out now, so I'm not losing any more sleep over it.
Hello xda people
I really hope someone can help me out on this. I have searched for a solution but so far nothing has worked.
Basically YouTube works over WiFi but it doesn't work over mobile network it plays the ad before the video but then the following message comes up "Connection to server lost ".
Everything else works over mobile network including YouTube over a browser. Am rooted and running ARHD 15.1
Any help appreciated.

Ok, so I gotm my S3.
With help of internet it got updated to Android 4.1.1 and rooted.
I got Market Enabler and Netflix app of Google Play (BTW: I have tried prev ver of the app as well - Netflix 1.8.)
1. I setup VPN connections (US & UK servers), both PPTP and L2TP protocols (just to be sure).
Internet (on Chrome and stock browser) is working great. VPN servers are fast so no difference here. Websites like home of the provider and trace my ip do show my location in accordance with VPN.
But when I try to log in to my Netflix account or start BBC iPlayer all I get is information (from Netflix) - that it is trying to connect. Like no data at all is being exchanged between app and internet
Any ideas?
2. When I started to setup VPN I was forced to put pin/pattern lock on S3. Any easy (for total newbie) way to turn it of?
Which vpn you are using and try changing the server.
If there is app for your vpn then most probably you dont need to use pattern lock. Try using VPNroot app but sometimes it diesnt work or find some app from app store.

I am using HideIPVPN (as in my signature).
They don't have an app for Android - I had to setup connections manualy.
I did try different servers - same thing. Browser work, Netflix and BBC (on the same VPN servers) do work on my PC and iPad - S3 - nope
I am using expressvpn and it works like a charm. Clear data from both the apps and try

Cool, thank you.
I'm using HideMyAss.com vpn (no app, so manual configuration). It seems to work fine as I can see some difference in contents when comparing netflix in denmark (no vpn) and netflix US (through hidemyass).

Hi,
i downloaded vpnroot, configured it with my VPN provider (I am using HideIPVPN for last 3 years - awesome service btw!) nad it all started woorking.
Hulu (Plus) Netflix, BBC - all smooth like butter (unlike TouchWiz or Android 4.1.1 on my S3 )
Thread moved to Q & A section, post in the relevant section next time.
I am not to keen on Instagrams new Tos. I used the app mainly to post a single photo across several social media sites simultaneously. The filters IMO are stupid. Does anyone know of an app that does what instagram does, as far as sharing across platforms?

Like the topic says, any suggest for a market app that provides full access to and android market worldwide. For example no paid and some free apps don't show up in the play store.. Any really good tried party market app?

The Market has its limitations for a reason (mostly legal reasons) and making an alternative market app that circumvents that is just as illegal as it's impossible (with Google having complete control over the "other end", ie. the Market itself, and who can connect to it and how).
That said, you should try using MarketAccess.
Thanks for the reply and I did have a feeling it was legal related but then again I can't understand how on my gf iPhone she can find and install for example Whatsapp, so can her brother on his blackberry but om my android I can't find it on the market. Isn't these restrictions suppose to be in forced on all platforms or is it just Google Android?

It has nothing to do with a specific platform. Simplified, it has to do with Google (not) being able to work out the complete terms of use in some countries.
