Dear,
I have UN-rooted Sony Xperia U, running Android 4.0 ICS.
My xperia u is showing SONY logo screen at start-up then showing XPERIA logo screen and then switching itself OFF and repeating the same cycle again & again. I have tried to solve it by removing battery for few minutes and then inserted the battery switched ON my phone.... but it is repeating the same cycle..... Kindly help me to get out of this issue.

Maybe you can solve your issue with Pc companion (or the recovery if it's familiar to you) ... did you try ?

how with the flashtool?
what did u do exactly..flashed a stock rom?? or something else?

Hi friends i updated my new neo v device to ICS last week and today when i turned on blue tooth i restarted and continuously restarting, removed battery and turned on but no luck. There is a guide to downgrade it to GB but the device dont connect as it restarts :x

Sounds familiar... because I just asked this question a few weeks before!
BTW at that time I stopped it rebooting by booting into CWM (recoveryNeo.img) and rename `/system/bin/bluetoothd`. But you know, Bluetooth will stop working. Try upgrading or repairing by SUS.

hi today i also facing the same problem with my neo v ics i switched my bluetooth on and its rebooting continuously.
hello guys. i get problem with my xperia mini touch screen . i installed rom (xperia unlimited hd) and in setting of this rom i choose another device (xperia live walkman) .and now my touchscreen don't work :crying:.i update my phone with sony update but nothing change .can anyone help me pls (sorry for my poor english)

I think same problem is mentioned in this thread(solved)...just go through the steps mentioned and you might be successful.

Did OP tried this solution? did it worked? i m having the same problem and my device is not even rooted... i just tried to update my phone from Ginger bread to ICS... and my screen touch is not working after the update took place...
hi guys, i hope i have writtened the thread in right section.
i have updated my xperia sola to ics, everything is working superb but i noticed one problem, sometimes when i try to switch off my phone by clicking "power off" the phone reboots instead of getting swtiched off. plz help me if someone knows how to get rid of this problem.

It happened to me once - it was fixed after factory reset.

I have this important problem that the last I flashed wrong rom ST18i (xperia pro), I used SK17i, when I update "xperia ultimate 5.0" Xperia pro => touchscreen is not working and hardkey too
I have followed all thread about solving this problem but I can't recover.
If I update xperia active in "xperia ultimate 2.0", my touch screen is working but hardkey is not working.

can i use the stock rom instead of revolution ics hd....
cause i tried this and the foen is lagging ... i mean its good for nothing...

When i try to on my sony Xperia z2 it only show the logo of sony Xperia and then not power on . I already use flashtool and try to flash it but still not work please help me:crying:

Sounds like a soft brick.
Did you resolve the issue ?
If not mention what you did in the first place and the flashtool version you're using.
