Sounds like a soft brick.
Did you resolve the issue ?
If not mention what you did in the first place and the flashtool version you're using.

when i used to have my xperia x10i this happened when i missed to flash the wifi modules check your kernel thread as may be the issue

Yeah, I did the same with my Xperia U a lot. Also handed the phone to service center later on due to touchscreen issue and got it repaired under warranty. So no problem with warranty if that's what bothering you. Just make sure that the FTF is made correctly.

Maybe try using the Sony flash tool "Emma" here , with instructions here to go back to stock ?
You may also need to install drivers on your laptop / PC from here (bottom of 1st page for Tablet Z wi-fi).
Note : This will completely wipe anything you have on your tablet.- including all your own data.

I found the Problem! The Boot.IMG out oft the CM image isnt able to boot my xperia wifi. No clue why.
Got the Team win Boot.IMG and now everthing works fine.
Thought I broke it.

I have UN-rooted Sony Xperia U, running Android 4.0 ICS.
My xperia u is showing SONY logo screen at start-up then showing XPERIA logo screen and then switching itself OFF and repeating the same cycle again & again. I have tried to solve it by removing battery for few minutes and then inserted the battery switched ON my phone.... but it is repeating the same cycle..... Kindly help me to get out of this issue.

switch it off and try to reflash via FlashTool.
My main problem is that PC don't identify it. Any driver don't work for that.

Did you find any solution by flashing with SD card or so ???
I can't find the firmware for Android 4.1.1 for the tablet.

It didn't boot with keys, so SD is not useful.

I solved it with the "Unbricker" tool - wow. Tablet is running faster than ever
