I've watched several video tutorial related to unlocking boot loader of htc desire 500 dual sim model but I failed due to some unknown reason.
So if anybody here unlocked the device successfully please share your method. BTW my os is windows 7 ultimate 64bit. But linux users are always welcome to share their solution.

I have successfully unlocked the boot loader and flashed the CWM recovery as per cmd flashing was successful, but the phone is not booting up even i can't enter to boot loader menu. The only thing is happening right now that is the orange LED is blinking if I connect the phone with charger.
Any solution?

Hi everybody! I'm new at this forum, i come from xperia x8 forum, and I have problems with custom kernels. I have a xperia Neo V, and I just cant connect the phone in fastboot mode. I'm not sure if it is properly bootloader-unlocked, as in the oficial sony's webpage it said that cdma devices cannot be unlocked (check http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/), and I think that is the standard in Europe isn't it? (I'm from spain). Also, I checked the service menu and it also indicates that the bootloader cannot be unlocked.
Anyway i tried through the testpin-s1 tool method and everything seemed to work fine, i got the output with the two lowercase "r", but not the messages showing the model, software version, custom version, filesystem version and serial number, as said in vimjam's guide (check the post regarding unlock BL here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409269).
When I try to connect it in fastboot mode it just shows the sony ericsson logo and starts to charge, not showing any blue led. I know that this happens in locked devices, but the two lowecase "r" in s1 tool indicate that it is unlocked, so i dont understand... Can someone tell me if my phone is properly unlocked, or if custom kernels can be flashed connecting the device in flash mode (as it does work for me)? Thanks in advance
Eventhough your bootloader is now unlocked, your fastboot is still locked, you have sim-locked phone and you need to pay to unlock it.
ok, so you mean I have to sim-unlock my phone in adition to bl-unlock to connect it in fastboot mode? can this be done in wotanserver or i have to take it to some tech service?

Hello all. I have a question.
So I have a Neo V with me now, and I would want to root and unlock the bootloader. So previously I had a Samsung Nexus S and I unlocked the bootloader via this website called nexusshacks.com
So there was this folder from the website that could help me to root and unlock the Nexus S. I was reading through various thread on rooting and unlocking BL for Neo V and realized I had similar files already in my MacBook.
They are
1) adb-mac
2) fastboot-mac
3) USB Drivers (with the x86 one which I believe is for Mac OS X?)
Therefore my question is, can I proceed to unlock the BL for my Neo V, since I have those files in my MacBook already? Is the process the same then, as in getting unlock key from Sony website, running fastboot, and running the fastboot oem unlock command?
Also do you guys recommend CWM or xRecovery for a recovery system? Thanks again for the help, I'm just very confused since most, if not all guides are written for Windows computers haha

Not able to Root HTC Desire 501 Dual Sim (Indian Version)
Hello Developers....
After many hit and trails...i am still stuck. I am not able to root htc desire 501.
Reason why i want to root it ?
It is showing error messages from past 3-4 month. Errors are like - Android.Process.Acore.Process has stopped. and Android.Phone has stopped..
Wifi is freezed and showing "error" and "Turing on" message.
Therefore i am trying to get rid of stock rom.
But when trying to unlock bootloader from htcdev website. Problems i faced -
1. No RUU present in the list. which i can use with my phone. I've used Htc Asis India. But was unsuccessful.
2. When i by-passed these steps and used method 2 in which i downloaded fastboot binary after entering fastboot mode. I wrote fastboot oem get_identifier_token in cmd in windows but nothing happened.
Please help. I am not able to use my cell phone from last 2-3 days. I am feeling disconnected .

Hello, Thank you for this proposal.
For now I have no idea of how to save the bootloader or the recovery.
But i think it was blocked because i have a bootloader locked and no recovery.
The only way seems to be a full write of the memory with the meizu tools.
I have test with a android rom but they don't work "token sign failed".
If you can upload the bootloader.img and the recovery.img, i this, you can save my phone

I have the exact same problem. And that 16 there in the screenshot gets incremented on every subsequent call to
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
until it reaches 256 or something, at which point the device shuts down.
Initially in fastboot mode my device would say that the bootloader is unlocked, so it was not like that from the start. But I locked it by mistake (lets say ) while trying to figure out how to make ubuntu-device-flash work (by shooting in the dark, mostly, rather than reading). Had no idea it will not let me unlock it after that.
Also before that there were some
Code:
fastboot flash all
so basically there is no OS no recovery, no nothing. Just barely getting the fastboot mode - otherwise totally useless.
Really looking forward for ideas
Couple days ago I tried to install TWRP on my Z4 Tablet, which was ALLOWED YES and I unlocked the bootloader by using the guide on Sony Website. but I failed to install TWRP I always had this Error: waiting for any device. So I tought the problem would be my PC Windows 10 so today I decided to install the TWRP on my Tablet by on Linux Debian (Kali) and I had this error again so I checked *#*#7378423#*#* and I saw this: Bootloader Unlock Allowed : NO it just turned from Yes to No. And yes I am sure it was 100% at the begining YES. And the USB DUBBING was on all the time. I need your help. I really need the TWRP.
