Android 4.4 capable recoveries? - Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet

Sorry if this has been asked already but has acclaim released a recovery that can flash his CM11 nightlies? I'm running his TWRP 2.7.0.0 but it's buggy as all hell, and his CWM downloads all seem to be old.

How to update CWM 5.5.0.4 in Nook Tablet to newest version

Hi everyone,
Now I am using CM 10.1, and I want to update to CM 10.2.1.
Is there any easy way to update my CWM from 5.5.0.4 to the newest (version 6), then I can update CM?
You can download to your NT the flashable CWM zip file for a new CWM version (e.g., http://goo.im/devs/succulent/acclaim/recovery), then boot to your current CWM to install that new CWM zip file.
If you plan to flash and use CM10.x, you should use CWM version 6.0.3.x or earlier (6.0.4.x or later versions are for CM11 and reportedly do not work with CM10.x). FWIW I used 6.0.2.8 when I was running CM10.x.

If you're looking for a stable version of CM11 -- it's yet to be released.
I've been using http://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/61413/cm-11-20140308-SNAPSHOT-M4-acclaim.zip, even though it is only a snapshot build it performs much better than 10.2.0.

Questions:
-What is the difference between normal recovery and 2nd-init?
The only difference is that the 2nd-init version is adapted to lock bootloader.
-How to install recovery?
Go to recovery and flash the zip.
-What do I need for 2nd-init recovery?
In Stock ROM only need the app of Artas182x installed.
-Will you keep updating the recoverys?
Of course!
Thanks to:
- @artit by his TWRP
- @artas182x by his CWM 6.0.3.7 and 2nd-init

latest cwm update

When I first bought the nook tablet I rooted it and put CM7 on there. Everything has been fine and it works as expected but I want to upgrade to CM11 and it requires a higher version of clockworkmod. Everywhere I've looked are just guides and downloads for installing cwm from scratch. Does any one have a link or can point me to where I can get a zip file that can be flashed by an older version of cwm to update it to the new one?
You can find a flashable zip for Chris Hoffman's CWM 6.0.4.5+ at https://www.mediafire.com/folder/xjwc1a482a6ll/Nook_Tablet.
See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2670589 for info/pointers on how to update to CM11 from an older version of CM.

yes it is, (just flashed this recovery from CM recovery and installed cm 12.1 nightly)
For my I9100 it doesn't work. After the flashing of the Philz recovery I've installed the last CM12.1, and the CM recovery has overwrote the Philz recovery. The same issue of ever.
Note that the option "update recovey" in the setting menu isn't active.

You'll have to reflash Philz every time you update
BTW, there's an updated TWRP recovery out, I recommend to use this one instead: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347833059
