I dont know. But propably you lost 3g conection so do NOT try.
Edit: I found instruction for 3G - root and cwm. (you can use Google Transtalor) For swap memory follow instructions from this thread.

But I do not take responsibility for this, because I dont tested it!

ah yes
This family of devices seem to partition/mount the flash card on the fly, depending on kernel parameters passed at boot (look at the output of dmesg | grep initrd).
If you want to repartition the flash memory to expand the /data partition, you can use RK29xxImageTools to unpack the official .img, replace the kernel parameter file and repack the .img.
Attached you can find the parameter file I use to expand /data to 2GB.
BACKUP THE TABLET before trying because /data and /mnt/sdcard will be erased!!!
The idea is that you can expand /data by reducing the space available for /mnt/sdcard.

SINCE FREE X10 IS NOW BETA, THIS HOW TO IS NO LONGER VALID
Hello world !
I noticed there was nothing to explain simply how to install the increible X10 Free Rom in dual-boot with your regular 2.1 rom of Zdzihu.
** No responsability for anything, you are all responsible of what you're doing !! **
** Please follow ALL these steps. Don't try to be Indiana Jones by flashing your device without all the tools needed !!! **
INSTALL
(for 1st install)
Before attempting anything, make sure you have AT LEAST 50% of battery charge. Don't try anything with low battery, you can abort the flashing and brick your device !!!
Please make sure you're also running a 2.1 rom (Generic, nordic, official, custom...)
- Download FreeX10 v0.0.1 file (NOT 002 yet !!!)
- Download Android SDK
You don't need to save the entire archive (but you can), you just need the Tools folder (because it contains ADB, the Android Debug Bridge we need to install files).
- On x10 :
Download and install Busybox (from Market), make sure it says "Done!".
Connect your x10 in USB, mount SD card, and copy files FreeX10.zip and install on the root of your SD Card.
Enable USB debugging (Parameters > Applications > Development).
- On your computer, go in the Tools folder, open a DOS prompt (for Windows 7 : hold CAPS + right click, you'll see Open a DOS prompt) and
type :
Code:
adb shell
(this will run ADB shell... You will get a "$")
- Type :
Code:
su
(this will make you super-user, you will get a "#")
- Type :
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/install of=/data/install && chmod 777 /data/install && /data/install
(It will display "11", "1+1", or "inflating:..." ...)
- Wait, have a beer, pray for your sins for your phone not to turn into a $600 brick
- One minute after, when it shows
Code:
All done, please reboot!
, reboot ! (But you can gently quit ADB by typing
Code:
exit
twice
)
Note : regarding me, I typed "exit" to quit ADB, I turned off ADB on phone and disconnected USB. You can do, it's even safer
- Wait up to 5 minutes for the phone to boot, it is NORMAL !!!! It looks stuck on Sony Ericsson logo and/or on Free X10 logo, it's NOT stuck !!! You MUST wait !!!!
- It will finally run normal, your phone is alive and 2.2-hearted !!
You are now eligible to install v0.0.2 (as it comes as an update).
Dual Boot usage
This rom comes with a great Dual Boot, which means the 2.2.1 is installed safely apart from your original 2.1 rom. This means you can switch back anytime to stock rom. To say it simply :
- Your Android 2.1 is here, and no changes are made to it (apps, version, etc etc). It is stored as it has to be, in the internal 1Gb phone memory storage (called the "NAND").
- FreeX10 (2.2.1) is running from image files (like .ISO files) stored in your SD Card. This means the two Android are living together peacefully, without affecting (theorically) each other.
FreeX10 mainly creates a bootloader, for you to choose whether to test 2.2.1, or go back to 2.1 for your daily use.
- To run 2.2.1 : do nothing (default boot)
- To run 2.1 : press any key at boot, when it shows "Sony Ericsson".
Notes when upgrading to v0.0.2 :
- As Android is stored into image files (.IMG), upgrading will wipe out all your content (it does a fresh "install"), make backup of what you need !
- to avoid future bugs, altough you're not forced to do, do the routines to make sure Wifi, root, packages install, ... work. This is because USB debug can break, so you won't be able to use ADB to fix these bugs
- Root is strongly recommended to work, because it's cool and because the CPU performance is set to highest : stuck at 998MHz all the time, it will drain your battery like hell ! You can switch it back to original power saving plan (ondemand plan) by using (ie) SetCPU. Root required !
If your Android goes instable, does not work anymore, or you want a fresh install after lots of tests, simply drag and drop the original v0.0.2 .img files on your SD card. This will make you boot into a fully fresh install.
For all bugs, commands, etc.. Please go first to this excellent (and very easy) thread !!
Nice..
How about one on AOSP 2.1

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hope it helps too
UPDATE TO v.0.0.2
Note : you can only update from 0.0.1 to 0.0.2. I mean you can't do a fresh install of 0.0.2, you MUST have 0.0.1 installed !
- Download v0.0.2 from main thread.
- Run your device on your regular 2.1 rom (while off, power on, and press any button when it displays Sony Ericsson logo)
- Mount the SD Card, then copy data.img and system.img from the archive into the folder /FreeX10. Replace the two .img files.
- Reboot into 2.2, have fun ^^

Does it work when your run "adb" command only ?
It looks to me your error is because you're not in the folder where adb.exe is
It is in folder tools, if you try to run it from root directory (where is the android app with nice icon) it won't work for sure
Edit: didn't see your screenshot >> you are NOT in the correct folder !! (so Windows is searching for a registered command which does not exist, I think there's a thread somewhere on how to add it as a registered (I mean global) command)
You must download Android SDK (22mb... Lmao regarding 4gb for iOS ), extract the archive and go in the tools folder. Here is adb.exe.
when i try & run adb exe it does not open it just closes right away
Update: I have just created a V2. Why, because i plugged back my awox striimstick and found it very slow and outdated. So I created a V2 with a new launcher, and remove a lot of crap and freed up memory.
To sum up, if you need to get close to stock ROM use V1, (there is some draw back and some modification to do to get back the internal SDcard (Modify /etc/vold.fstab and find the line: "dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/virtual/block/nandk" replace nandk or whatever by nandj then do a mkfs.vfat /dev/block/nandj to format, then reboot)
OR, use the V2, access to everything and very fast rom (fast considering the very old CPU and the 512 Mb of ram). This rom V2 is very usable;
Hi all,.
This is an awox striimstick, hdmi stick.
Please see the recovery method below after download link...
Long story short, a fw restore using allwinnera10 tools went wrong and now i have no way to recover it.
I have no power button or volume key, only a reset button on the back (like the mk802)
If i keep pressing this button while pluggin the usb cable to my computer i should be able to go to the bootloader, but it never works... It only reset all my settings.
For restoring the striimstick:
Link for Firmware V1 (file 460mb) and Firmware V2 (file 607 mb) and tools (Livesuite and phoenix carad writer)
Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BwJDxBRQ92xcbU5RWkQ2WXV1UFE?usp=sharing
and the instruction:
- Download and use phoenix card writer to write the output.img or outputv2.img to a micro sd (1Gb microsd should be enough)
- plug micro SD card to the stiimstick (do not plug HDMI, just a Usb cable to your computer)
- Power on (You should see a green light blinking close to the red light)
- Wait 1 real minute
- 1- Remove microSD, 2- unplug the usb cable from your computer
- Plug it back into your computer (Make sure your computer's sound is on so you will here windows saying it is detecting new hardware)
- The stick Should now be in bootloader mode, Windows will detect the hardware and will ask for driver, use the driver from live suite folder\Usb driver
- Use livesuite to flash the file output.img or outputv2.img file (If flashing says 0% and do not start after 1 minute, unplug and plug back the stick one more time, do not touch anything on the computer, the flashing should start automatically in the next 30 seconds)
Unplug the stick and plug the HDMI cable to your TV, Plug back power cable, it should be working
Again this is not super easy, if you do it anyway, do it at your own risk
Fyi (On v1), on this image there is the playstore already installed and it is rooted. This is not the official image as nobody has it. I made this image from a nandroid backup i did previously
Fyi (On v2), on this image there is no google services installed but the rom is rooted and has aptoid lite, facebook lite, cleanMaster and ES File explorer already installed out of the box.
Please hit the thanks button if you donwload the file.
Cheers
Note for V2:
Use the same Recovery method using the SDCARD then Livesuite.
After reboot, use ES file explorer, activate "root"option in it THEN to go to /system/app and reinstall android terminal by clicking on jackpal.androidterm-1.apk (Yon can also use adb shell and type "su" and go to next step).
then Open Android term type su, wait for superSu to popup and autorise it. then type: mkfs.vfat /dev/block/nandj (It will format the internal SDCARD not the MicroSD call EXT-SD) then type reboot.
You will now have the internal SD card accessible in /SDCARD. Your MicroSD card is accessible through /mnt/extsd
Also, as this stick have a little amount of ram, I recommand to use the android Widget "CleanMaster (White theme)" already installed from the laucher (This is the widget below my kid's picture on the launcher). Everytime before starting an app I'm cleaning the RAM using this button from the launcher (See the launcher screenshot below)
I removed everything included google services and google market (Was present in V1) because it uses too much ram and CPU. I replaced it with Aptoid lite, replaced chrome by opera mini, and facebook by facebook lite..
Regarding remote control, if you dont like the hardware remote provided by awox, you can download from google play store on your phone the Awox remote app (striimstick Remote) and use it to remote control your android stick (emulating mouse and keyboard).
The stick is also able to receive DLNA request and it is working pretty well (I send DLNA from my galaxy S6 using bubbleUpnP and it is working well with movies and series.

1st, I had to do all this because Awox will not release original firmware, so if your device is fu..ed then you need to get the firmware to reflash the device. (You cannot even test alternate firmware as if the stick is not booting, you will not be able to put the stick in bootloader mode, there is no USB connection detected)
Finally found a way to restore the original firmware I did backed up the device using Uberizer and a Phoenix card writer.
Use uberizer to unpack any A13 device image 4.0.1 you can donwload and wait untill it finish.
Take the backup you have made using allwinner tools.exe when the device was still working.
copy the 3 img file to uberizer rom input folder, rename your .img file to .fex file, the from uberizer menu "i" use Repack image.
Then take any 2gb min Microsd card, and using Phoenix card writer, write the uberizer output.img on the sdcard.
Turn off your striimstick, plug the MicroSD Card and plug the power cable on the device.
You should see a blinkin green light close to the red light. When it stop blinking, remove sdcard and Unplug, plug back in the power cable. It should be restored.
If you need I can create and send you a recovery image, just send me a private message.
Hope this will help.
Cheers
Hi Guys,
Is there someone kind enough to send me the original firmware please? I'm having issue with a Flickering HDMi, I would like to reinstall original firmware to make sure this is not software related.
Also if I get the original firmware I will be able to cook a better rom (My rom backup is already messed up). I want to try to go for 4.2 rom , in this case, the stick should be faster.
You can use the application Nandroid backup or any other tool you want.

1. Flashing instruction:
METHOD 1:
*OUTDATED: Just open the zip from last version and copy that recovery.img if you want to use this.
Copy the "recovery.img" from download to the root of the SD card.
Code:
1. With terminal emulator or using adb do this:
2. adb shell
3. su
4. dd if=/storage/external_SD/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17
METHOD 2:
Download the version you like (the zip) and flash it in any recovery.
VERY IMPORTANT: EVERYTIME YOU FLASH TWRP AGAIN GO TO SETTINGS AND RESET DEFAULTS.
THE DEFAULT STORAGE MIGHT BE INTERNAL STORAGE PRESS ON THE PLACE THAT SAYS STORAGE: INTERNAL STORAGE AND CHANGE TO EXTERNAL STORAGE IF YOU WANT TO USE THAT (TWRP will remember the choice).
IF WINDOWS RECOGNIZES THE INTERNAL STORAGE IT WILL TRY TO FORMAT IT TO USE IT (this is because of the ext4 extention). DO NOT FORMAT OR YOU LOSE YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE DATA. LINUX DOESN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM.

Excellent job! It's works on P713 KK CIS!

Not tested on P715 but it should work. 99,9% it will work my friend. Also no chance you will manage to hard brick it just by flashing. I did not include preloader and bootloader partitions. At most a soft brick but not even that. Just flash it.
EDIT: @vlmaxx Report after flashing please. But for sure it will boot.

Sorry, I'm not good at English. Lost your message, so I answer here.
Sew through CWM Recovery. Starts but tach screen almost does not work or is not adequate. Reacts only INSTALL and offers mount, and then nothing can be done. Rollback on old CWM.
Forgot to specify: I have 4.1.2. Maybe that's why is not working?

Sorry, but it's all too complicated for me. Years and brains are not the same .... unfortunately. In any case, thank you very much for your help.
Hey Guys,
in this Tutorial I will show you how to activate the Adoptable Storage function on the M4 Aqua with the help of the Xposed Framework.
Attention: Me or not anyone else is responsible if you proceed with this. We do not take any responsibility for any bricked phones, dead sd cards, void warranties or anything else.
At first let's talk about what we need:
- Android 6.0.1 (I used the Customized FR version. (Build R5C))
- Xposed Framework Installer: Download
- Xposed SDK23 ZIP File (I used v86): Download
- (Minimal) ADB: Download
- Unlocked Bootloader, ROOT and TWRP
So let's go:
1. Unlock your Bootloader and install TWRP like described here. (It may works also like described here without unlock your Bootloader but I didn`t test this.)
2. Install Root like described here.
3. Install the Xposed Framework Installer.
4. Boot into your TWRP. (Press PowerButton + Vol- Button to start your Phone into TWRP)
5. Connect your Phone with USB on your PC. (Make sure you've got all Drivers installed. You will find them in the Flashtool install location.)
6. Move the Downloaded Xposed ZIP to the install location of your (Minimal) ADB
7. Open an Shell were you've installed your (Minimal) ADB
8. Type the following:
Code:
adb devices
If your Phone is now listed you can continue
Code:
adb shell
Now you should see a command line like this: ~#
Then Type:
Code:
mount -w /dev/block/platform/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/by-name/system /system
mount -w /dev/block/platform/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/by-name/userdata /data
mount -w /dev/block/platform/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/by-name/cache /cache
If you become an response that your Resource is busy don't wory. This means it's already mounted.
Now type this:
Code:
twrp sideload
adb sideload xposed-v*-sdk23-arm64.zip
For the * use the version number of your Downloaded Xposed ZIP.
If this is complete type:
Code:
adb reboot
Now it may takes up to 10-20 Minutes until your Phone is booted the first time with Xposed.
After Boot open your Xposed Installer App and go to "Framework". It should look like this, if it is successfully installed:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
9. Download the SystemUI Patcher for Lollipop+
10. Acitvate it in Xposed App (don't wonder if in the screenshot is another Module... you don't need this):
Open the Xposed Installer App --> Go to "Modules" --> Tick the Checkbox
11. Open the SystemUI Patcher App, scroll down, select "Enable adoptable storage" and restart your phone:
11. Insert your SD-Card and select "use it as internal storage". (I can't make a Screenshot of this by myself because I've done this before making this Tutorial):
12. Congratulations you've got successfully enabled adoptable storage on your M4 Aqua.
I tested it with the E2303. But it should work with any Version.
Special thanks to @depressed_ for the tipp with the SystemUI Patcher in this post.
And to @alby_var for the Tutorial how to install Xposed on Android 5, because I used this for orientation.
Known Issues: (Everything I or anybody else found)
- Stock Camera App didn't work for me after doing this! .-. It says "Memory unavailable" (I use now the App CameraMX ... This works fine!)
- On your storage settings will be shown some wired Numbers. (See Screenshot(s))
What about some screen(s)? Does it work 100% without any mini errors? People were complaining about their storage. It showed them weird numbers.
Btw thx for mentioning me.
Is this the original android feature being enabled? I think this should work without many problems if it is from android...
Pls make some screen.. Thanks

I think so. Just go in your Settings --> Storage --> Internal Storage --> Migrate Data --> After this go to your SD-Card --> "Format as Portable"
For the other things:
Disable the Module in the Xposed Installer App and Uninstall the Xposed Framework.
For root and TWRP I use to flash the Original FTF File. (May there is another way... I don't know)
If there's an way to (re)lock the Bootloader, you can do this too. I heard somewhere that there is an way to do this but I don't know how. Sorry.

Look at the "Known Issues" in first Post.
Camera and installing apps don't work... Is it because of my slow SD Card or is it the common issue?

Well, since my E2306 pdated and at first boot running android 6 recognized my SD and enabled it by itself, I guess yes, this might be a stock rom's hidden (in your device) function.
whatsapp cant download image after activate adoptable storage
After using partition in sd card like this link
