[Q] Galaxy S2 international - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I wanted to change the housing for my Galaxy S2 international, but it seems that if i were to remove the LCD from the Front Housing, the LCD screen would crack and hence i need to buy a new screen, which i dont need. Anyone has any idea on how to remove the screen without harming/damaging the screen??
Thanks:fingers-crossed:

[Q] Where is the digitizer on the Samsung Galaxy S III?

Hey, first time posting here, so let me thank you all in advance for just responding.
I've been looking all around for a description of where the actual digitizer is on the Samsung Galaxy S III. And so far I've found vague views of what it is and where it is. I've taken apart and repaired iPhones before and the digitizer is usually attached to the front panel glass but when I took apart a Galaxy S III, I couldn't find where the digitizer is. When I tried looking on shopping sites for a replacement of the front glass with the digitizer, all I've seen were the front glass with just the two touch buttons attached at the bottom and no signs of the actual digitizer that I'm familiar with in the iPhones.
So plain and simple, my question is where is the digitizer on the Samsung Galaxy S III?

Digitizer is heavily glued with the lcd itself, chances are very small that u will succeed to replace only the digitizer, wothout doing damage to the lcd.All those auctions on ebay are...nearly scams, because it's almost impossible to separate digitizer and lcd, don't fall for it. I have tried to do this on HTC HD2 and fail.

[Q] Galaxy s3 prototype GT-I9300

Here are some pics: http://www.sammobile.com/2012/05/01/this-is-the-galaxy-siii/
Does anybody here know ANYTHING about this phone? I can get it for about 30$ from a friend. The problem is it's screen is shattered and I can't replace it because official s3 parts wont fit in this ugly housing. I was thinking about replacing it's whole body for the official one and then replacing screen glass but I'm not sure if parts will fit. This prototype appeared on the internet about 3 weeks before official s3 premiere so I hope it's in fact a final hardware design. Every help/info is appreciated.

that lcd comes from china, so it may not be original Samsung.
I bought it from this seller. he charge me full price and he replaced it for me and changed the back as well.
I shipped the phone to him and he returned the phone to me free shipping ask him if he can do it for you or just sell you the LCD if you want to do it yourself

Can I remove a working LCD from one phone and put it in another (Galaxy S4?)

Hi there -
Hi there! So recently I dropped my s4 and the glass stayed intact but the lcd cracked and screen went black. I have a friend with an AT&T s4 (mine is verizon) and his screen is mint. Can I remove the lcd from his safely and transfer it to mine? I know when I removed mine I broke the lcd silver film, but mine was already cracked so no biggie. Will the AT&T lcd unit fit and can I safely remove it and put it on mine? Thanks so much!

Is it also possible that I could remove the verizon motherboard and install it into the at&t body? Also to clear up some things, from the AT&T phone I need the glass+digitizer+LCD - full assembly. Would it be easier to transfer verizon parts to at&t body (will it even work?) or will it be easier to remove the whole display unit and pretend like I just bought the part online and need to install it.
Thanks guys!
