Bought this samsung galaxy s3 on ebay. It was listed as model sgh-t999. but after i received it I noticed the model number is sgh-m909. Icant find this model number anywhere. I dont know how to root it. It has been modified before and I keep getting the nfortunately, com.sec.androidapp.FlashBarService has stopped...every time i recieve a call. I would like to root this phone and start anew but cantfind any info on this particular model. Any ideas??? Thanks

i have recently bought a used galaxy s2 korean model sim based, which is unlocked from the carrier( not factory unlocked), i have 2 issues
1. can i upgrade my phone to the latest firmware using kies, as i have do not know the unlock codes.
2.can i root the phone (my model no. shw m250s), i have searched the internet but could not get for this model all are for the i9100 type phones

I have got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 from US (ordered from ebay). The device is running OS 4.4.2. My problem is after installing a SIM (local vietnam SIM) I'm not able to make a call nor send a SMS, it shows "Not registered on network". I have attached few screenshots about my device details and the problem. I have also googled for many instructions but none of them worked out. I really appreciate any help from any one!

I just purchased a S7 on kijiji and when i check the imei on the internet, it says the model is SM-G930W8 but on the box and in the phone settings it says model SM-G930P.
Which one to believe ?

I want to upgrade my Galaxy S3 that i got second hand from someone, but i have had a very hard time finding a way to do so due to the phone's model type. The phones model number is SCH-R530x, I have no knowledge of who the phone's carrier was, but i have been told that it is a generic unbranded cdma without LTE version, carried by nTelos. I was told to check here for help with it, I want to upgrade the phone to where it can download and play Pokemon go so 4.4 kit kat is fine if that's easiest route.
Anyone at all? i really want to figure out how to upgrade my phone.
Did you get the model number from download mode? Search for the latest stock rom on sammobile.com.
