OMG! LOL. Great title, etc.
Anyway...this is quite a common issue not really specific to any one phone or rom. Flash has very little to do with whether a site is displayed as a mobile site or not. If you don't like having to to hunt for the "full site" link, here's a some options:
1) For stock browser (the one that's pre-installed), type "about: useragent" into the address bar, tap enter, go or whatever appears on your keyboard to execute it. Then, select "Desktop". Many (but not all) sites will display the non-mobile sites now. However, you may have to repeat this every time you run the browser since the setting doesn't persist across sessions.
2) Install a different browser from the market, run that browser, hit menu -> settings -> Change User Agent -> Desktop. The advantage here is that it will stay this way and not make you set it more than once.
If you want browser recommendations, the android market has reviews and this has been discussed often here so a search would probably yield much.
This is a WIP so forgive me for doing this in steps instead of all at once, I dislike anything from AT&T and Samsung being loaded on the phone, I am an average user that does not use my phone for business so anything like VPN / Exchange is not needed by me. I just like my phone as lean as possible while maintaining stability
Note: This list is from the latest ICS leak, and have been tested on my phone. I have not DELETED the APK's yet, but have them disabled either thru [Applications / All] or using Autostarts, and RomToolbox. Sorry for the rough layout of this list, I have the flu so expect typo's too.

[Edit: jellybean list coming soon.]
I am with you, I hate the bloat I know I will not use and don't want it on my device. If you search in either the SGS-II forum or the Note forum you will find a spreadsheet that is also a good reference on what can be removed.
Search "apps safe to remove"

What he said! ^^^^^^ That list is fairly spot on.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA
We need a verified list like that for Jelly Bean now, and we also need another list for Startup apps and services, that are safe to remove from Startup. Sometimes you don't need to uninstall an app that you occasionally use, but you certainly don't need it running and eating up resources each time the phone boots.
A great post !!
If i can get a few users too verify the list a few times, i'll add the thread as a resource to the "everything" thread.....
this would help out users a lot !!
thank you......g

I'll hold off for the JB then...
If you can add them both into this thread, and name it for both, that would be sweet....
The "one stop" for both OS's.......
Or not, your call, but thank you in advance......g
there are alot more apks that can be removed. i posted some in another thread awhile back. post number 7 and 8 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767113 if you want to add to your list so they can all be in one place. also if you are trying to free up space there are more files that can be removed. in system/media/audio you can delete all extra ringtones, notifications, and alarms. i only have the one i use in each folder and i delete the entire ui folder since i dont like my phone making noise every time i press something. on cm roms there is a video folder in same location that i delete. i have never seen those videos run and are useless. and more i can list later when have time.
I write three threads into one so that moderators can not say that I want to earn easy 10 threads.
First:
It really interests me, what is gained with rooting?
I do not need an explanation of how it's done, but what really do for a phone.
I am new at this, before I had a Nokia N900, so this is my first encounter with Android.
Second:
Is there an application for Samsung Galaxy S3 like the iPhone Cydia for iOS, where we can download applications?
Third:
For those who have encountered the problem like me. I turned off the S-voice and I lost the icon of the application.
I have unsuccessfully sought a solution.
Finally, I have solved the problem in a way that first I had to go to TASK MANAGER after which I choose ALL APPLICATIONS and that at the bottom of the list there are deactivated applications.
Had to change from DEACTIVATED to ACTIVATE and that returned the application icon and the application.
Fourth:
I installed Firefox 14 over Google Play, but it doesn't load any webpage. Properly installed, it start up, but does not open any webpage. Opera, Chrome work properly. Has anyone an idea why not?
Thank you
Hi Everyone,
This is a general Android App question; which I don't believe is specific to any particular Android Device.
I have installed the Disney Infinity: Action! application onto a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7"). When the App loads there is an option to download 'animation templates'. However I have noticed that it is only possible to download a total of 3 'templates' at any one time (despite the fact that there are tens of templates available - for free download). Each time that an additional template is downloaded (beyond the allowed 3) the first downloaded template is removed and replaced.
Ideally I would like to store all of the templates on my Galaxy tab as I do not always have a Wi-Fi connection available, and I would like my daughters to be able to enjoy the full features of the App even when not connected to the internet.
Does anybody know how to download / save all of the templates for this App?
Kind Regards,
Davo
I am curious if anyone has any insight about an issue that I am running into with an employee of the company I work for.
He is running A samsung galaxy s6 edge on 5.1.1 and using IBM Verse linked to a lotus notes account we have for our in house email.
He is having an issue when actually clicking on the link in verse; normally it is supposed to open up a "mail to" prompt for these particular links, ones we use for approving invoices, but thats not happening. Instead it opens up a box asking him if he wants to open the desired link in chrome of the default internet browser the phone came with.
This exact deal was tested on a samsung device running 5.0 without any issues and it did what we had wanted it to do.
Does anyone have any insight on weather the update from 5.0 to 5.1.1 would have disabled the "mail to" ability for HTTP and only allowed for those requests over HTTPS.
I understand if this is confusing, but any help would be awesome and if you need more info just let me know.
Thanks
