OEM Battery

Just recived this battery:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/12086253783...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_500wt_1202
It is a low price and in first thought it might seem like a fake...
But seems like its real genuine - looks completley like the OEM battery that comes with the photon, include all motorola's sticker...
Haven't tried it much - only some discharging and charging, didn't see any problem.
What is recommand use of new battery? firstly complete discharge it and then charge it (for how much hours? or till it 100% full?) ?
Is it matter if the photon is turn off while the first charging, or there is no problem to keep it on ?
Great find, I may order one or two myself

for those who missed, another sell

Sorry man,
BUT this one is for sure NOT an OEM!!!
I bought the same and after my complaint got money back really fast.
However, I bough from here
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120865462103?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_909wt_1157
2 pcs and these are truly OEM!
Cheers,
Bruno
How do you know that the battery is fake?
I used it few days with discharged to 0% and full recharged again few times..seems like its fine.

Because I got one and compared its performance with my original HF5X and it was so big difference.
Also other guys reported poor performance.
Finally seller refunds everybody who complaints it's counterfeit product. Have a look to his feedback history.

Xperia S Battery Life

Hi guys,
I am extremely happy with my Xperia S battery life after updating to FW .75. I never had android phone (X10, ARC S) lasts 3 full days without charging. I have test it this time with less wifi use, no 3g, less music and I am really proud of my Xperia.
Thanks.

You are saying that your battery is holding tree days (72h)? Can you please post your battery graph? I'd like to see your usage pattern.

Why create a new thread ? There is already a battery life thread.
Mods please merge this with the main battery life thread.
I am sorry, if there is a thread for the same, but I didn't find it. Anyway, here is my phone battery graphics attached.
Lol
Your screen just says:
Hello im sxs and i did nothing the last 3 days, only sleeping.
You got 3 stripes for screen.
How many minutes screen on? 10?

ha ha, i was thinking that.
but to be fair, even if that's the case, 3 days is pretty good.
my current phone (wildfire s) even if it's left on standby most of the time, will only last around 26 hours MAX....that's with everything switched off and the phone basically sat idle for the whole time....
i've just ordered an xperia s though, so i'll be getting it tuesday
can't wait!

[Q] Xperia U - Drains battery very quickly

My dad's Xperia U used to last around 4-5 days with a bit of Wi-Fi, 40% brightness and a call a day. Battery would go down to 15-20%.
Now as you unplug the charger it goes from 100% to 96% instantly. After using it for half a second the battery went down to 93%. Wi-Fi is off, brightness is set to 30% and Auto-Sync is OFF. What do I do? It's not rooted and it's running Stock Gingerbread 2.3.7
Quick replies will be appreciated.
Additional Info: The phone is under warranty and it was purchased about 2 months ago.
Try calibrate the battery

It has nothing to do with dev support......
To the point now.....
Have you charged it till our showed charged and then disconnected or you waited for another half an hour and then disconnected.....
Try charging with fone switched off till it's fully charged plus half an hour more....
After you find this drop in battery did you restarted your fone????
Sent from my Xperia Sola using xda app-developers app
I charged it to 100% while the phone was on, plus about 20-30 minutes more. I unplugged it and the battery went down to 96% instantly. Whereas it used to stay on 100% for about a day. I've restarted the phone recently but no difference. I'll try charging it when its off.

In my opinion its good to send it to repair center mate, it can be a battery problem.
same thing happened on my Samsung Galaxy Y, so i disregarded battery full indication, when battery showed full i restarted. left to charge and did it again if problem persisted. problem disappeared gradually.
Thank you everyone!

Question
Hi to all
My xperia u does something quite weird. I can't get my battery to last more than one day. I tried different roms, kernels with governors and my battery seems to drain and the main consumer is my screen _ about 65 % while any other process doesn't pass over 15%. Has anybody conflicted with this problem?
How do I get it fixed? Do I need to buy another battery?
PS: I don't have warranty hence the unlocked bootloader

Decrease your brightness and turn of Mobile Bravia Engine if you don't need it. I have three Xperia U's in my house and two of them used to have the problem. Turned the brightness down to 30% and it resolved it. Also I charge it to 100% and kill it down to complete 0% by heavy usage. Try this. Works with laptops and phones.

maybe apps cause the battery drain fast even you tried turn off every communication ....or the battery already leak...
try turn on stamina mode ....
kill some useless(not use at all) apps...
maybe reinstall stock JB back may help solve this issue ....
if this issue still happen I suggest you to send Xperia P to sony central (last option)..
Imo there is something installed that is sucking the battery, i suggest you to do factory reset and am sure it will be good.

What JB have you flashed?
EDIT: and how long does it take to recharge it again after it shuts down?
i flashed the last official jb a.100 (i think) and the issue was there, so i flashed the moonbreaker rom, and the issue is still there...
i don't know, i will ask my gf when this will hapen again, but i think it takes 5 or 6 hours like normal charge..

Well, battery drain issue can't be solved on Xperia P. Running on 1500mAH battery with a Dual Core processor, 1GB RAM, White Magic Display, the Xperia P can't provide that battery life one would expect. But as you said 86 -> 69 -> 18 is something very unusual. Try flashing the ROM again or repairing it with SUS. If it don't solve the problem, contact SONY and confirm that you are using a battery which is not damaged.

[Q] Xperia sola became slow with bad battery

Hey, so I bought my xperia sola like almsot 2 years ago, and in the last month it became just horrible, working really slow, the battery became a disaster, I just talk on the whatsapp or leave the screen on for 20 mins and the battery goes down from like 100% to 80-85%, I tried to change roms(used Fludity v2 by pulak for a few months with no problems until it suddenly started), tried to do a full factory reset, doing a complete reset to the phone, installing the stock rom again and then all the proccess of installing roms again, but nothing actually works...obviously tried to calibrate the battery, no success.
No my question is, is there anything I can do? or that's just the wear of the phone and there is nothing I can do besides getting a new phone?
Thanks in advance.
Any answer please? more than 100 viewers and not even a single comment :\
Might have been a marginally bad battery, a similiar thing happened to me on the computer I'm writing on (battery lost less capacity over the first 2 years than what happened to other users of this same model, then the maximum capacity dropped from 85% to 23% in just 8-9 months)
