Smart watch photo thread - Ornate TrueSmart

Thinking maybe we start a thread for people to post pics they have taken from their restart or x201 device. Took this one tonight thought it came out pretty good wanted to share.
If this belongs in another section, sorry I thought this was the best one for it.

Guess no-one else has photos to share from watch?
sent from my note 3 running beans.

Nice photo...
In a good light picts are quite good but I just don't like that I have to break my arm in three spots to take a pict...
And until I open a camera app the moment is gone...
I installed snap camera on TS and it's really good.
I'll post few shots later..

Will need to do that on mine. The dam stock one crashes 3/5 times..

Vibrant "HOT BABES" Wallpaper Gallery

Thought I'd share my contribution. Since I'm no programmer, the best I can do is resize and crop some hot women for your Vibrant pleasure.
MOST of these are the standard 960x800, although there were a few that I felt could not be cropped without destroying the intent of the image, so these have been sized to 960 width. MOST are of hot women, although there's a few random walls in there too.
As with all Vibrant walls, these should also work fine on any phone that uses the same size walls (Nexus 1, etc.). Once I've converted a few more, I may try and .zip up a big file to be hosted somewhere, if anyone's interested, but Picasa works great for now.

Download Floating Image in the market. It will allow you to enter Picasa accounts and stream them pretty easily with a bit of tweaking. Just make sure to turn off random and uncheck the other streams. Grab his account name out of the link he provided.

actually only via second-hand. One of the sites I get wallpapers from (wallbase.net) gets a bunch of their stuff from 4chan. I haven't cruised the wallpaper section of 4chan (but I will now )
Ill go ahead and put up my Hot Girl gallery as well.
Since the best girl shots for a phone are always in portrait aspect, i have cropped most of the pics like this. They will work best with any home alternative that allows you to turn off wallpaper scrolling. Also the high contrast black and white shots look FABULOUS on our screens.
PS... Most shots are NSFW

Ill keep adding shots as I find them.

How do you take bokeh pictures?

I saw on ultralinx, that there were pictures of bokeh photography taken by the galaxy s II camera. Does anyone know how they did that? I have no experience in photography, but want to try it out.
Tilt shift photography could also work if anyone knows how.
i heard about this website one time....i think it was called google.com. just type in what you are looking for and like magic it will show you cool stuff....
How did you get so funny, you aren't funny at all? I obviously looked at multiple sites, but those are for dslr cameras. Tilt shift photography is also hard to recreate without actually tilting the lens, so I wanted to know their trick.

You should probably ask on a photography board. It seems people on this board know more about using Google than they know about photography.

People here can get an attitude. I wish I could help with your question but I'd also say post on a photography board or search Google a little harder.
Sorry to see these guys get an attitude with you.

I use camera 360 for tilt shift. There's also a web app for Google Chrome that makes tilt ****ft but I haven't tried it yet.
I'm no photographer but I would experiment with macro to shoot bokeh pictures.

You did not see "bokeh" pictures come from a Galaxy S II - if you saw something claiming to have bokeh, it was Photoshopped. (Unless someone put a macro lens in front of the lens.)
"bokeh" is the quality of out-of-focus points in a photograph. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh
On a mobile phone, the sensor is so small that depth of field is insanely deep - it becomes nearly impossible to have anything that is out of focus. (Nearly all of the time, blurry photos are due to camera shake, not focus problems.)

Bingo. Bokeh is achieved with specific aperture and exposure settings impossible to get with a fixed lens camera like that on a phone. And true tilt-shift photos are done with an actual tilt-shift lens, not by holding the camera a certain way. This is why I responded the way I did. I've been a pro magazine photog since the early '90s having learned with film cameras. Digital has all but ruined the craft.

Software like the current version of Photoshop Elements gives you the ability to create bokeh effect. The small sensor size of most compact cameras (especially phone cameras) precludes getting true optical bokeh.

Yes it is question... but so what?. I think the attitudes of some here are a lot worse than a question outside of the Q&A section. Heck, a lot of the posts outside of the Q&A section are questions. If that bothers someone, they can post a simple suggestion to try the Q&A section.
Vignette can also simulate tilt-shift. If you want blurry photos you might as well just scratch the hell out of your lens, get it all dirty, and call it close enough for jazz.

See, I didn't know/don't know what aperture is... So, thanks for the info (especially since you're a pro and all) . It was probably Photoshopped anyway.
I love how once one person helps out and gives an answer, all the other people who posted dumb/non helpful/tryn to be funny comments want to jump back in and try to one up the person who helped out in the first place. Get over yourself.

I could have easily explained it to him in my first post, but as you can see from his last post about not knowing what aperture is, it would have been a waste of time. My subsequent detailed reply was to confirm what Entropy said rather than to impress or one-up anyone. Get over yourself.

Post your pictures taken by your tp

well, as the title state...post them beautiful pictures that you guys took with your Prime! =]
I took some random pix just for this thread. Haven't had a chance to really take anything worth showing. But I love the quality of this camera I hope to take more pix soon.

[Q] Is My Phone Camera Broken?

Hello,
I posted some photos here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252112&page=5 (last post of the page) and I'm attaching some more photos here. Can someone tell me if my camera is fine or if it is broken?

Why do you ask.
If the people on stage don't have a huge spotlight on them the photo's would have turned out great but the photos look good regardless

I'm asking just to see if the camera is supposed to be working as it is. I think it is but some people out there are much more professional than I am and can tell me.

Looks good to me. It has trouble with those stage shots, but that's been my experience as well so far in similar scenarios.

Yeah pretty much - in every one the spotlight is causing the camera to way over-expose the faces.
I took a bunch more pictures outside and it doesn't seem fully focused. It was a clear and sunny day and I even took some of them from the shade. What do you think?

From the last picture, your camera appears to be making women look a bit heavy and large breasted.
I read in one if the reviews. The one camera is more like a professional camera. It does what you tell it to do. You have to set it to lighting and such. Not really an automatic point and shoot.

[request] Video Camera app

I don't know the name of the app.
A friend of mine has an LG phone, I'm not sure of the model. I know, I'm not much help.
But, he can record video with his eye's bugging out and his head all squishy and whatnot. He says it's part of the stock camera on his phone, but I think he is lying to me. hehe
Does anyone know the app and how to get it?
Thanks!
Did you try a search on forums for "LG camera app" ? Pretty sure I bumped into it recently.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085836
Thanks for the help. I downloaded the free version and it has none of the video effects I was looking for.
I think he is lying to me about it being the stock camera app. He just is an #$% and doesn't want me to have the app.
He posts videos on fb with his eyes bugging out like Roger Rabbit and stuff. Stretches his chin down with his hand and squeezes his face in like a peanut and stuff.
I have tried searching here and the play store for video effects camera and every way I could think of, but for some reason, I can't find it.
Thanks again!
Thanks for moving this to the correct section.
Nobody knows a video camera app that will do these things?
Thanks!
ANY camera app that has these video effects? No one? C'mon....someone has to have the same phone as him and know these features I am looking for........
