i am on miracle v2
if i keep my mobile on vibration-only and whenever i reboot my device my profile automatically changed to ringing instead of vibration only.
and then when i manually changes it back to vibration-only then i dont get vibration notifications for sms, mails, whatsapp etc etc.
so then i have to use a software from market sound manager and then have to change settings from there of vibration and then i get vibration for notifications.
i know there is some setting problem but not able to find it never faced this thing.

My galaxy s3 was working fine until I used WiFi tether than my phone went crazy.. in other words I couldn't text or call anymore! I can't recieve them either so after this happened I decided to restore my phone to default setting .. that didn't help so I then got the cm10 mod wondering if that would change anything nothing. I'm not sure what this could be .. I have 3G enabled and I even can go on 3G still so I can go on the web but I can't send text or call people PLEASE HELP

go to about and status and make sure you have an imei
did u just flash ?
I have a IMEI and yes I just flashed it.. but would this have something to do with it.... it says "Service state - In service" but under "Mobile network state it says Disconnected ????

Money... Sounds like your phones radio is off. Are you using cm10 ? If so look around for a toggle that has to do with mobile networks
I think it should be under cyanogen mod settings. I can't remember exactly where but I think somewhere where you'd set up your status bar.
If you can't find it if search the app store for mobile network widget and use that
Let me know if this works

Just got a GS4, unfortunately I upgraded to ME7 before I realized it would make installing a custom recovery impossible. I have rooted the phone, and am wondering if there's a way to remove the persistent wifi notification without a custom recovery. Thanks!
Settings > Wifi > uncheck Notify Me?

Unfortunately, that only seems to keep a Wi-Fi popup notif from appearing on the launch of apps. I have it disabled and I still get Wi-Fi related notifications in my bar.
Never mind, found my answer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395307
I've searched and the similar threads seem different and don't work with this phone. I turn off Wifi and not long after its on again. I've gone into the Wifi settings and turned everything relevant off but it's still happening. Anyone know wtf?

Sounds like Connection optimizer is on.

Are you rooted? I was on frezza's beast mode kernel, all versions seemed to not allow wifi to shut off. Also had problems staying connected to my home wifi. Now I'm not saying the kernel is the problem but when I restored the stock kernel everything works again. Haven't posted in the developers forum but also haven't seen anyone in there with the same issue.

Yep, go to Settings > Connections tab > More networks > Mobile networks > Connections optimizer to turn it off.
Sometimes when I leave home I forget to turn my WiFi off and it keeps connecting to any open networks wherever i go. I went into the WiFi settings and there are only a few options there and I tried all different combos but i still keep auto connecting. What am I missing?

Under WiFi settings, goto Advanced, and uncheck "Scanning Always Available", by default this is on, even when WiFi is off.

I think I misunderstood your question...if it's actually connecting to the network, it's because at some point you've connected to it before and it's a saved network. Next time it connects to it, go to WiFi settings and forget the network.
