You need to find Hopper 8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread & try everything in the thread over & over & over. The alternative is an expensive trip to a Samsung service centre or a new phone.
Need help on corrupt EFS issue. I bought Korean variant E-210s. It came with modified ROM for GT-i9300 (i9300ZSALG3). I thought it was the international version and that's why I flashed the JB ROM (update) for GT-i9300 using ODIN. Now, I am stuck on Samsung logo and OS is not loading. I can access the Download mode and Recovery. In Recovery, it shows "unable to mount E:" error when I flash any rom. So, I am stuck here. Need your valuable suggestions on this.
P.S. local service center guy says it's an corrupt EFS issue.
I flashed i wrong custom ROM for SGH-I757M and now it can't boot. I tried looking around threads and came across this one here but it was for GT-I9100G version of the Galaxy s2. I have the bell Canadian version. Any clues on how i can fix it? It would totally help.
Stock firmware from Samfirmware, boot into download mode, flash with Odin. Can't boot into download mode ? Try a jig. Still can't boot into download mode or boot the phone at all ? Service centre or local mobile repair shop.
I have a major problem. My Samsung Galaxy s III US cellular is stuck at a menu everytime I start it up. It says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in kies and try again. This hapend because I downloaded a an odin program and tried to downgrade my Phone from 4.3 to 4.1.1. Of course it failed and that is what happened. The next thing I tried to do was go into recovery mode but Kies 3 doesn't support my phone or it wont connect to it? Please I need help, any help will be so well appreciated and thanks to all the future help!
Hello all,
I purchased Samsung Galaxy s6 edge off of craigslist in attempt to repair this software issue.
It is verizon USA version model G925V
The phone powers up and Samsung screen comes up and it says Custom in the middle with an unlock sign which means that previous person tried to customize the software.
It keeps toggling between the same screen and wont boot up.
I am able to put it in download mode and recovery mode.
I have already wipes cache, have performed factory reset but no luck
I have tried to install original firmware via Odin but it says write failed after NAND Write in Odin.
Also tried to reflash the original PIT file but yet again it Odin says Failed.
Is there anything I can do with phone or it is completely gone?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
