[Q] which ROM is best for battery life?

Which rom has the best battery life? There are too many roms out there but i just need to know which rom gives best battery life i spent most of the day outside so i hate it when my battery drains....currently using gingerdx v005...its pretty good for battery life but um looking forward to get more...any idas from anyone??
2.3.5 roms are all using a lot of battery power in my opinion but these are still young roms. I guess stock SE roms and 2.2 roms have a lower consumption level.
Try slade's MiniCM6, its very good and doesnt have battery drain
i've been using gingerdx, which is a gb rom, and it's been great in terms of battery life...dare i say better than froyo...
and quick as f#%k
gingerDX surprised me in terms of battery life. you should try.

Which kernel give you the best battery life

Hi
I am pretty much obsessed with battery life.
I have been trying few roms and I have yet to find the perfect one for me.
1) gingerbread 2.3.6 stock rom unroot
Performance wise is so so. Battery life, not what I expected
2) gingerbread 2.3.6 rooted
Tweak the CPU and does see a lot of improvement in battery life.
3) ICS stunner. 19
Great rom but I feel that the battery does drain a lot.
4) ICS cyanofree
Smoother compared to stunner but battery wise is worse than stunner
5) Gingerbread 2.3.6 rooted
Back to gb to see if there's any difference in terms of battery life. Better than the Ics
I do have a lot of my friends who are using the custom ics and their battery life is superb. I don't know why mine is bad.
6) stunner 19
Back to stunner again. Still feel the battery doesn't last. Heart pain when you have to under utilize the phone just to save the juices.
7) litening rom 1.0 (currently using )
awesome even thought that its not as smooth compare to the ics. Battery wise improved a lot but I am still searching for even better one.
Question.
Anyone using speedmod or Franco kernel before and could you share your experience especially the battery life?
By the way. The testing are based on my observation. It may differ from other people.
Appreciate it very much.

would be sweet if we would have 2.2 with some new tweaks and jb theme
it would have greatest battery life with minimum ram consumption, decent speed and it would look like jelly bean.

My experience with P505
Froyo = antiquated, but usable if all you require is a simple smart phone
Gingerbread (Stock) = Less antiquated with more options, but stock is so proprietary which I don't appreciate
Gingerbread (2.3.7) = All the plusses of stock Gingerbread with more customization and less proprietary. Excellent battery life.
ICS (4.0.4) = non-proprietary with more options and much more pleasing UI. RAM consumption can be a negative, but using the V6 Supercharger scripts seems to really give a boost. As for battery life, I am still getting about 2 days of usage which is more than ample as long as I'm using one of sweetnsour's .35 kernels.
JB = Beautiful user interface and similar RAM consumption to ICS, however battery drain still needs to be tackled for me to consider using it as a daily driver. Work with the 3.0.x kernels may be promising with increasing both battery drain and performance.
I use the LG Phoenix P505, so most ROMs require me to flash a P505 compatible kernel so my options are a little more limited.

Best ROM for Battery Life and Stability for i9300?

Hey guys,
I have 4.3 Jellybean for my Intl Samsung GS3 and battery life is downright terrible. I have it rooted and I am looking for a ROM. My main priorities are battery life and stability. I don't care about performance. Ideally, I want at least 3 hours SOT and all the functions work like stock firmware.
Thanks!
I suggest you to buy a new battery and keep using stock firmware.
Hi
I suggest you AMCHA Rom KK v 9.00 when use kernel ( MoRoKernel-1.7) : Battery Life awesome
or CyanogenMod 12.1 for i9300
I think it's your battery. I can easily reach 3 hours SOT and sometimes 4 ~ 5 hours SOT if im not playing games with my S3 on any ROMs. From Stock 4.3 to Custom 6.0

[HELP] Looking fastest ROM

Hi,
I must bring back to life my old S3 and I looking the fastest ROM for him
Phone will be used as a second business phone so I don't need nice appearance, a lot of customizacion or lastest android.
I looking stable, very very speed and economical for batteries ROM
Can any one help me and tell what is the best choice?
Stock 4.3 roms will be the best.Because latest roms are not great for battery and stability.
