Annoying message on stock ICS C.1.0 - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi!
I flashed stock ICS C.1.0 using flashtool today.
I always get a message on startup saying (something along the lines of) 'The phone will restart in 15 minutes due to the battery draining during shipping'.
The phone doesn't restart in 15 mins. but the message is annoying.
I have had this phone for a lot of time (more than a year) and flashed many roms onto it. I have also flashed stock ICS C.1.0 many times before.
I never got this message before. I flashed stock ICS C.1.0 today from KitKat 4.4.2 and I got this message.
Any ideas on how to get rid of this message or what may have caused the problem?
Help appreciated.
Thanks!

Did you try another stock rom or use PC Companion ?

Nope. I will now. Thanks tho

Okay... I flashed ICS B.89 over C.1.0 (which gave me the problem) and I'm still getting it Help?

It says that I should insert a sim card to stop this message. Does this happen to you guys if you remove the sim card?

[Q] cm7.1/miui issues

ive been running miui for about a month now.. after upgrading to 1.7.8 ive lost a great deal of service. i cannot send text messages, calls go through only once in a while, very very slow internet if any at all. usually causes apps to time out. ive tried every kernel and modem available. anyone experiencing this or have any idea of what i should do? any feedback would be much appreciated.
go back to your old MIUI...if same problems occur then start from scratch
1) odin to stock
2) root
3) flash the rom which was working...
i went back to stock before i did anything. then tried kernels. then tried modems. thanks though :/

[Q] WIFI Error.

Lets see if anyone can help....a lot of this talk of rooting and flashing is over my head...My atrix is running 2.3.4. It was like this when I got it. The wifi won't turn on at all. It only shows error. Is there anyway that I can put it back to 2.2? Or is there anyway to fix the error. Someone told me the kernels may be different??? Is putting a different ROM on the phone very difficult?
Where did you get it from?
yes it may be over your head a little but no means to stop reading up on it and remember to search before your post - there is another thread of this that was recently posted.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1180494&highlight=wifi+error
none the less. we would need more details. what rom you are using, what version of the device you have (US or Intl) key would be going through the thread you got it from. but more than likely the cause is you flashed a kernel/rom that doesn't work with your device it will be an easy fix once the details are given.
I had this issue too... I tried a few different methods to remedy it but the only one that worked was flashing a new ROM.
okay it is a US Version...4.5.91
kernel version....2.6.32.9 ( then below that is says [email protected] #11)
ok so you used an at&t rom on an at&t device? and i assume u kept the same kernel.
No...the phone came like this...I didn't do any of the updates or anything.
I had the same issue after I restored once. Could not fix it...had to reflash a ROM and the problem was fixed.

okay so is reflashing the ROM difficult? Is there any thread on here or somewhere else that I can read up on that would be of help doing this. I don't wanna brick this phone but I need the wifi or my data plan is screwed...
I hate to revive this thread but I have a wifi error I can't resolve. I first got it on 1.8.3 and flashed to 2.3.4 and it was gone. Then when I tried to install the new adroidmarket.apk, I got the wifi error and it won't go away no matter how many roms I try to or how many times reflash 2.3.4.
Essentially, wifi says there's an error and any time it tries to turn on, it reboots the phone. I've tried Alien, and Ninja and neither of them worked. I haven't tried piCrust yet.

I9100 is Slow, and Keeps force closing, tried differnt roms and kernels, but no luck

Hi all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100, which is Rooted, and is Currently Running "Pure ICS v7.2" and kernel "Siyah v3"
just after i rooted my phone about 4 months ago, i stuffed my phone up a bit, and i had to reflash a new firmware to get it to work again, but ever since then, my phone has always been really sluggish and slow, and lots of apps keep force closing. i have tried heaps of different roms including: Pure ics v7.2, Checkrom v38, stock XXLPH, and a few others. but they are all the same. i have also tried the kernels: Stock Sammy kernel, Chainfire, And siyah v3 and v2, but nothing has worked, i tried restoreing a CWM back up of my original rom (the one that was on my phone when i got it) but it did not work properly, they were all the same - Slow and sluggish, and apps force close.
i was wondering if anyone knew what i could do to get my phone working again. because when i first rooted my phone, it never force closed and frooze or anything, it just worked perfectly, it only started not working properly after i flashed a status bar mod, and the phone got in to a boot loop, but i fixed that, but it still does not work properly
i have read what other people have said about the kernels and roms i have used, and they all said that it worked great, and that they got not force closes, but i keep getting them.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
Cheers Corey

[Q] BIG problem - Stuck on Gingerbread 2.3.3 (old I know) trying to change custom ROM

Hi there, ive looked all over online and on here for about a week solid now for a solution for this and cannot find one anywhere! My situation is.. im running gingerbread 2.3.3 on my S2 that I got in 2011. As soon as I got it I flashed the Lite'ning ROM to it. It worked fine up until christmas just gone and just all of a sudden started saying this error message when I tried to open anything, such as messages, contacts, google, camera etc..
"sorry the application ..... (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again"
So I have just been trying to get the phone back to orignal factory settings by putting a factory ROM on, or install a new custom ROM in the hope that this will solve the problem and get the phone working normally again. I used Odin and installed a custom ROM successfully (so I thought) but when I rebooted the phone I was still stuck on Lite'ning ROM and everything was how it was before. The same happened when I installed a factory ROM. I also tried to install a custom ROM via the SD card, but this failed everytime.
One other thing.. when I restore to factory settings while on the CMW and then reboot the phone.. nothing has gone, its exactly the same, with all my contacts, pictures and apps. I never knew it would be so hard to restore my phone. Im hoping someone here can advise me on what to do... Ive a feeling it might be to do with the fact the phone is gingerbread 2.3.3 and all the custom ROMs now are made for ICS or Jelly Bean? If so how do I get my phone to work with these ROMs. Thanks for reading and I really hope someone can help!

I think you should try a 3-files odin flash rom.
If you search in google for "Odin 3-files i9100" than you will find the rom

[Q] Neo V - My battery doesn't drain..

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Neo V and it's very unusual. I will tell my whole day which this issue happened.
I was using a Custom ROM and I don't remember which one I was using. Anyway, one day I couldn't open Settings and I didn't care that much and continued using it that way. When I think that I will be mad at my phone, I made up my mind changing my ROM to PAC-ROM (JB). But in order to change to PAC-ROM, I had to unlock my bootloader. To open bootloader in official way, I type *#*#73...... thing to get the service menu. But nothing happened after I tried it 5-6 times. Maybe it was about ROM or that setting issue. I dont know. I had a backup which was made when I had the stock rom with superuser. So I restore and I could open service menu. It was saying that I could do the unlocking. Then I unlocked bootloader.
Okay, here is the when all started.
Before I tried to install PAC-ROM, i tried another one which was JB again. But I forgot to change the Kernel as well... And when I tried to install the rom, I had an error. That was when I think to install PAC-ROM. I tried that too and I had the same error! Then I realized that I didn't install a JB kernel which I had to. I had a stock ICS kernel. I found a kernel and plug my phone as a mass storage in CWM my computer froze. And then when I tried to unplug my phone from my PC my phone froze too! You know, I wiped everything to install new ROM, but when my CWM closed, I had to install Neo V's Stock Rom and then root, install CWM and a new ROM. But today I figured out that my battery doesn't drain, until my battery is %0. It says it's %0 and then my phone close. I wrote down my whole day in order to get your help guys. I searched but couldn't find a thing about my problem. Oh and there is one more thing. I installed a programme which shows your battery stats and things. The programme says the same as my phone about "battery %" but it gives the temperature and it changes when I used wifi or mobile data. What this problem can be and how can I solve this.
Thanks for your help.
Okey I solved the problem by wiping the battery stats.
