[HELP] Fine Scratches on Display -What can i do?

Hey Guys!
Just wanted to know how can i remove fine Scratches on the Display?
Is there any kind of "polishing paste" for removing it ?
If you know something let me know !
Thanks!
my phone is fallen down yesterday and has fine scratches, too. they are only visible in sun if you put the device on the side you can see them. how can you remove these fine scratches ?
same problem as so_ony i think
Light scratches on screen, put a screen protector and you shall not see those again and also save it from any further damage.

[Neo V] Broken screen

So it happened - my neoV fell on the ground. The screen smashed totally, however
the picture still seems to be clear behind broken glass, no bleeding or discoloration.
It's still responsive to gestures, however there is danger of cutting myself while touching the surface.
Now I need to know what needs replacing. Is it only the touchscreen - I've found some on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SONY-ERIC...arts_Tools&hash=item4604353c33#ht_2532wt_1165
however I'm not sure if this is only a thin foil that goes over the glass or this is the whole glass that I need to replace with.
The cover is slighty scratched at one corner, this is not of such importance to me, I just need a working screen.
if screen is entirely responsive, then touchscreen/digitizer is ok, no need to replace it.
you might be just lucky and end up with ONLY broken front mask.
Digitizer is behind the glass? I thought this is a one-piece component. How is this mask called?
EDIT: you were probably referring to front cover? I found those also on ebay. I'm not sure how NEO V screen is held together - digitizer can be separated from front case?
Front cover, front mask, front housing..different names, but yes we think on same.
Digitizer shoud be stuck with screen and front case can be removed without separating from digitizer or screen.
Google up for disassembly videos tutorials or pdf guides, you can even find it in accessories section.
Repair
It's danger for screen sensor if you direct touch,,,
suggest go to Sony center nearly
sorry my bad english
It's the digitizer. It's composed from glass + sensors and this part as whole can be detached from front case.
But I need a new front case too, I found one of the side panels to have broken support latches around screws. It's time to get a red one
Does anyone know if MT15i Mt15a parts are compatible with MT11i Mt11a?
Xpeia neo v front screen glass cracked
Hey buddy,
I have broken the screen glass of my xperia neo v and fortunately it is working fine still.........
All the gestures are working perfectly and there are no changes in color...........just like u've mentioned.........
Just wanted to know if you've got your screen replaced, if yes from where? how much did it cost you?
Could you please give me some tips for the same.
Thanks & Regards.
I did
You need a new digitizer and case if some important parts of it are broken. Mounting the digitizer is a bit difficult, since it's hard to close it without trapping dust between it and LCD. Look into the technical manual
Check eBay for prices.

Hi
Is there any way to retrieve my contacts as the phone screen is totally not working

Hair line crack

Hi
My partners phone just took a tumble and has developed a hairline crack across the screen from the front speaker diagonally across the top right corner. The screen still works perfectly so there doesnt seem to be any damage to the lower layers, just the glass. It had a cheap cover on and it has still been damaged.
Now my question is, will this phone survive 2 years of use? We can either try to claim on the insurance as lost / damaged or get a decent case and a screen protector which hopefully would hold the phone together. What do you guys think?

if you drop it its not going to last .
Damaged insurance claim is worth checking on the excess and a self fix screen cost as posted on XDA .

[Q] Galaxy SIII touch screen unresponsive

About a month ago, my fiance dropped his phone from the work truck (about seven feet) and of course, the screen cracked and had a big spider web on the upper left portion. Oddly enough, the touch screen still worked fine. While functional, the spider web annoyed him greatly, so we got a new glass screen for the phone.
We originally purchased the wrong model (he has a r530). When the screen wasn't working I took the phone to a repair shop and the guy said I very well could have gotten the wrong model screen for the phone. So we bought the correct model screen for his phone and the same thing happened. The soft buttons are working, the noise works and it lights up just fine. The LCD screen is in perfect condition and the guy at the repair shop said I replaced the screen perfectly (I used the plastic tools and a blowdryer and kept the heat away from the center of the phone and took my time. The original screen came off in one piece and I didn't run into any problems during the replacement.)
We recently ordered a new screen, thinking the last one we received may have been defective. However, after placing the new screen on the phone, the same exact issue arises where the soft keys work but the actual screen did not.
So...I was hoping for some help/advice. We really don't want to have to buy the LCD/Screen/Digitizer combo cause it's soo expensive. Could the digitizer have somehow been ruined during the replacement?
Thanks for any input you have. It is greatly appreciated.
well, did you replace the digitizer? if yes, then the issue is in the motherboard

I haven't been able to figure out how to replace just the digitizer, nor have I been able to find where to buy just a digitizer. Do you have any suggestions?
From what I understood, the digitizer was integrated into the LCD screen but I may be mistaken.
It's not the motherboard because if I take the motherboard from his phone and put it in mine everything works fine.
Search for the screen replacement how to and also you tube video .

touch is the digitizer's responsibility

[URGENT] need help fixing broken glass on my S3

i recently dropped my phone and it got a crack in the bottom right corner around the back button stretching up to the middle of the left hand side of the screen, and i need help repairing it.
Im not sure if i can just replace the glass myself or i need to replace the digitizer or any other parts as the screen and back button still work perfectly fine.
I'd also like to know whether this job is easy enough to do at home as i am on a low budget, however i dont have much experience fixing phones.
much appreciated if anyone can help me
Replace the screen assembly, glass plus digitiser and oled screen. Trying to unglue the glass is very hard and the heat can kill the phone.

Replacing the whole digitiser is a lot easier, but beware cheap(ish) ebay parts - I replaced my digitiser with an assembly from ebay, but the glass in the replacement broke very easily.... replaced it again and it's cracked again, without even having a hard knock. Nowehere near as sturdy as OEM parts. Screen still works so leaving it for now
Words of warning...
I attempted to replace the glass on my S3 after I dropped it. I have over 20 years experience as a computer engineer and access to loads of tools. I watched numerous YouTube videos on the process before I started yet still I managed to break the digitiser. In the end I bit the bullet and bought another brand new S3 for £200. The cheapo replacement glass I bought from eBay did not seem very sturdy either - I'm certain it's not gorilla glass. My advice would be to get it fixed professionally by someone who uses OEM parts but then again, how close in price would that be to a brand new phone?
