Hello everyone
I would be appreciated if anyone could help me.
Recently I bought an HTC Rezound. I live in Iran so I inserted a local carrier SIM card. I noticed that the phone does not connect to the wireless network when the SIM card is inserted. The phone does not connect to the home network. It finds in range network, but it shows an error message reading that the network is not in range. Surprisingly the phone is able to connect to the same wireless network when no SIM card is inserted into the phone.
May I be able to solve this problem!?

I am using this phone with an O2 Germany sim card and have noticed that it does not roam when it does not receive O2, like in the underground. So I have no signal and it keeps searching until it finds O2 again. Is it a problem with the phone? I have used the same sim card with other two phones and never had this kind of problem. The phones always switched automatically to another network when O2 was not available. Can you help?
Hello,
I have a network problem in my SGS3. I'm from Indonesia and using XL Axiata as my provider.
I set my mobile network to wcdma only.. after i move from one place to another usually i have a problem with internet connection.. whatsapp and twitter is still on but i can't do other things (ex: browsing and Line)
My temporary solution is i'm re-register my mobile network / activate-deactivate airplane mode, then my internet connection is back to normal.
Previously i have a SGS2 and i didn't found this problem..
I'm already using custom rom, custom kernel and changing my modem, but the problem is still occured.
Is my SGS3 defect? or it's just network provider problem?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks
I have the same problem since I cut my XL sim into micro sim.
Usually it just work fine with my SGS2. I think my SGS3 have a problem with mobile network, but the cutted micro sim inserted into SGS2 have the same problem.
I tried to use micro sim from another provider (Three), and it just work fine. So, I conclude the problem is the cutted XL sim card (should not be a problem, but there is a problem with mine and some of my friends).
Until now I still used XL, but I bought XL iSim (micro sim from the package, not the cutted one) because the very affordable XmartPlan promo, and I don't have a network problem using the XL iSim.
I bought a new lumia 800 819 version but i have no luck getting the gprs to work i am moving from a omnia 7 which i never had any problem connecting or even the hd7 i used before that. I am wondering if its the phone or the sim card. I am using the sim from the omnia 7 (which i cut to micro sim) the thing is my carrier dont carry the micro sim. The other thing i notice is that i am only getting g no edge or 3g i try both manual settings and network setup but no luck so i am stuck with wifi. Just checking if anyone else had that problem or if any fix is available...12072 firmware
The micro sim issue shouldn't matter as long as your sim supports 3G and you have cut it down correctly, It is very easy to cut into the gold etc, Is the phone fully supported by your Network ie: Frequencies? Is the Lumia 819 compatible? I noticed you have already tried manual config of APN, Does your sim have any apps which can be found in settings/Sim applications? Sometimes your sim card has a "get settings" app, Try maybe a hard reset or contacting your provider if all else fails, Hope you get it sorted
dear all please help me.
the wifi on the droid dna (verizon one) gets disabled when i put in the local gsm sim card here in India. its shows "disconnected" while switched on but it does scan the wifi connections but never able to connect to it.
However, voice sms and data work fine but not wifi.
After that i do a factory reset after taking out the sim card and then wifi connection starts working until i put in the sim again.
i did 3 custom roms as well but no solution. was thinking if flashing radio could help?
p.s. this is not hardware problem as the Droid DNA of my sister is behaving the same when inserting local sim card.
Are you flashing the appropriate modules for the ROMs/kernels you have flashed?

Hi Guys.
I just bought a unlocked HTC Vivid X710a on ebay. I received it and took off the sim card from my Metro PCS phone and placed it in the HTC.
However I am getting this error message when I try to connect to the Metro PCS network (311660)
"your sim card does not allow connection to this network"
What should I do?
Thanks
same
same issue here
Maybe the phone is blocked from that network by IMEI.
To follow up, I placed a T-Mobile Sim Card on it and it worked perfectly.
what do you guys think? Could it be a sim card problem? but if so, why does it work on my metro pcs phone?

Problem solved.
Metro PCS Sim cards are locked to only one phone. Went to the store and the assigned the new phone for a 16$ charge.
