[Q] Help needed with My SGS2 Accelerometer and gyroscope sensor and magnetic sensor

Hello everyone,
I am new here so i hope i am posting in the right place,
So i got my SGS2 last month,i love it,everything seems to be fine,i was learning tips and tricks everyday and loving it more and more, but then i noticed that in all the youtube videos when they rotate the phone, screen would rotate automatically, everytime, and mine didn't do that much frequently,it had like its own will and it would rotate sometimes and sometimes it would not, since i wanted my qwerty keyboard in landscape mode so i started looking into it,(the auto rotation was turned on)
First thing i found was horizontal calibration, tried it,it will go on for hours with out saying "calibrated" i finally had to take out the battery to switch off the phone and then re start it,with no different results.
Then i found *#0*# test, tried that, first the magnetic sensor was moving had a blue or a green line on it and i think number "2" was written on it,i read that when i rotate the phone the x,y,z readings should change ,but they weren't ,i tried image test and after rotating phone for a few times the values started changing and the image rotated,i went back to home screen and text screen also rotated and i was happy, but then after half an hour or so i picked up my phone and it again wasn't auto rotating,i did *#0*# again and this time magnetic sensor had green light on and number 3 and it was moving but when i did the image test it didn't move at all.
So finally i thought i need to put it for calibration again no matter ho long it takes,i did it again, took hours and hours all my battery was drained, and when i plugged it and re started, auto rotation was totally gone and now when i do *#0*# the sensor has a red light saying "need for calibration",accelerometer sensor has no readings and gyro selt test says "FAIL" (i don't even understand whats gyro selt test :s )
I am really freaked out here, did i damage something? plz plz plz help me,i tried reading through the forums but half the lingo i don't understand ,plz be easy with the language,i am begging for help,my family was really not happy i got this expensive phone, and now if something happens to it sorry for the long post,i'll anxiously wait for replies.

[Q] [Problem] Xperia Z2 Won't turned on after taking photos underwater

Hi . i bought an Xperia Z2 2 weeks ago . i've been sinking and washing this phone in the bathroom with no problem .
But , today i went to a mountain river with about 19 celsius of its fresh water temperature . I submerged the phone and took a few photos with it . Unfortunately , after 2 minutes . the phone just went off just like a dead phone .
Quickly , i go to my bag and wipe the phone from wetness . After a few hours , i try to turn it on
i noticed there is NO WATER in the camera lens . Also i press the power button , but there is no response .
How is this SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN to a water-PROOF phone ? Does Anyone has a solution for this ? Please help . :/
P;s : Actually , back 2 months ago , i bring my Sony Xperia Tablet Z to this river . Taking photos and videos with no problem . But this problem has made me unconfident with the Xperia Z2 ... is the Tablet Z more tougher taking life throws at it more than Xperia Z2 ?
P:S2 :- Before i took photos at the river , i type *#7378423*#*#at the keypad > service test > pressure sensor ' to make sure the flaps were firmly closed . The test passed and i really sure that the phone is sealed . It makes me thought , does the cold temperature makes the phone shuts down ?
Thanks for reading my thread
Fresh water makes things easier and more likely that your phone will be fine, wrap in towel and leave on radiator turned off for a few days, or in a bowl of rice, or in the sun, whatever your preferred method is to dry it out. I've rescued countless phones that have been dropped in the drink doing this. The faster you do it the better though
EDIT: Oh and as to how it happened, a) flaps weren't closed or don't seal properly (clean out the ridges, dirt can stop it sealing properly) b) there's a defect in a seal somewhere else, front/back glass etc...
sorry for hear that were the flaps closed properly? because i also have submerged my z2 in freezing like water and no probs, and also how long did you submerge it for? did you try soft resetting the phone? (do it only if no option or remedies dont work), open the simcard/usb flap and you will see a small red switch, press and hold for like 10-15seconds and it will reset the phone
Thanks for replying guys @gihan798114 and MR.Rtm .. Yes the flap was closed properly . There were no signs of water gone inside (the camera lens was OK , no condensation ) but right now im dipping my phone into a basket of rice to make sure the water didn't got inside . i also tried to connect to a charger . Weird results i got though , when the device connected to a magnetic charger , the notification doesn't light up but when im connecting it to USB cable , the notification led light up to red , like the battery was 0% .. weirdest problem i faced with Xperia Z series .. lol
yes keep it in rice for a few days and try charging and see if the led color changes

Proximity sensor always on?

Hello friends
I wanted to ask something about proximity sensor in Mate 20 Pro. Are your sensors always on like my device.
There is a proximity sensor on front side of mate 20 pro. You cant see that sensors working with naked eye but you can see with another camera. When screen off and device is locked I cant see a difference on state of this sensor its not engaged. When I press power button and screen turned on I see red dot on top of screen (on notch) and it is always engaged while I using phone.
This is the question.
Isnt it consumpting battery and is it normal?
Everything is controlled from proximity sensor is turned of in settings.
What do you think about this is it a bug or is it a normal thing

This is happening to my Mate 20 Pro too. But I am not surprised neither worried as this was hapenning to my Galaxy S7 and my LG Optimus 4x.
It's perfectly Normal, minimal battery usage and prevents unnecessary screen activations in your pocket or while on a call, which results in ear touches.

Hi i finally found the solution and made a video of it on youtube. You gotta de-bloat the battery and performance from the manage app. check the video I've gone indepth regarding it.
