hi guys i m new here .... I Have a Lava Iris 402
I Rooted It By Reading About Framarooton these threads..of XDA forums
i rooted it with boromir exploit a time ago..but i had to take it to service center so unrooted it....but service center was closed...
so i came back home and again rooted it using framaroot and it worked.....
But For Fun I Unrooted it again and began using it...after some time when i tried to root it the error message on framaroot showed
Failed... Exploit worked but installation of super su and binary failed...
So I tried older versions and other exploits if framaroot but stilll it shows the same error message :crying::crying::crying::crying:

i have lava iris 401e
want to root it coz intrnl memory is tooo loww
tried these steps
installed adb
driver installation was not successful with google usb drivers in android sdk
but superoneclick driver installer did that
so adb drivers are installed
but now having problem in rooting
with superoneclick
it stuck at 7th step wait for device
with doomlord
it stuck at waiting for device to show up
with bin4ry rootkit
it stuck at waiting for device
and with unlockroot
it gave error like "unable to root shell"
when in these softwares it was showing waiting for device
i tried to give it a way to detect device
in cmd i typed command
adb devices
device was found
phone restarted but nothing happened
i think it can be rooted with unsecured boot.img and scatter file method
please do that for me

I have been trying to root my Micromax A111 aka canvas doodle 1 not doodle 2.
I've reasearched on this and the common methods to root framaroot and vroot both havent worked out for me.
I run build no : V01_1030614 firmware.
when i use framaroot it simply crahesh every time i click on gandalf exploit and in case of vroot i download the chienese software but when i connect the phone to the system it says that USB Debuging is off on my phone even though i've turned on usb debugging.
Any help on this matter ?
Think it depends on which version of Framaroot you are trying on what firmware is on the device. For the USB Debugging connection to the PC, this is most likely from driver issues. Check your Device Manager to see if there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the device name. As far as rooting goes, I would suggest Kingo Root.

Install, open as admin, and follow the instructions. It might even be able to download and install the drivers for you (it does that for some devices, but am not familiar with Micromax stuff) If not, you might check out installing PDANet as it has drivers for about everything.
Thank you seems my phones stock rom was the problem is there any way to update the android version from4.1.2 to 4.4 ?

I tried Framaroot, vroot, root genius, oneclickroot, gingerbreak and kingoroot which never detects my device. please help me someone and tell me how can I root my device. vroot detects my device and also reboots it but during reboot it turns off then again reboot then I see a pop up window asking me for data restore request from computer. I tried both yes and no option but then vroot says root failed. please someone help me

Hi. I have problem with my new phone alcatel c5.
I rooted phone with Framaroot and everything was fine.
Then, i updated phone software via wifi from 01001 to 01002. And then, root now isn't working. Now i still have supersu , but with message "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it." Also, when i try to root my phone again with Framaroot, i got the message "Failed. Try another exploit if available Error #9)".
What should i do now? Please help!
Please help, i can't even reroot my phone with Kingo android root, is saying " connection unstable". Wtf?!
