Did you do a wipe, or did you simply update and that was it? Being code, it isn't unusual that stuff breaks when changing something, and that's what happens when you update. Maybe something weird got introduced when you updated, so you should wipe everything and start from scratch.
- Are you rooted and do you have Recovery?
- Do you have any experience with Flashtool?

Yes. I wipe and flash 4.3 to update 4.4.4 from ota. And i am rooted and i have twrp recovery.

[Q] Xperia Tablet - Re-lashing Stock Help Needed

I am stuck on the Sony blue animation screen after installing a task killer app. It just hangs there. I can get into recovery, however.
I am trying to reflash my stock firmware to remedy the problem as it seems something got corrupted ( I was rooted when this happened). I am in recovery and am trying to flash the latest "US" update to my tab but I am getting the following error."Erohibed update as result of checking version or base sku"
What do I need to do to reflash and get back to stock? I do not have adb access...
Try factory reset. You will lose data and maybe root

By factory reset, do you mean in recovery? I tried that and for some reason it did not work...

Reboot problem

Every time I restart my phone just after the boot animation I get the "optimising apps" screen and it continues to optimise 61 of my apps.
I have no idea why it is doing this but it's getting very annoying. It takes ages just to reboot my phone.
Anyone have this issue? Or know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance

Do you have a app installed that every time clean your cache and dalvik cache when you restart your phone?
I mean something like system tuner pro or so.

Not as far as I can tell.
I have SD Maid but I have been using it for months and this has only just started.
It's different to wiping dalvik cache though, if I do that then when I reboot I get a screen saying 'android is upgrading' and it installs 110 apps.
This message is 'optimising apps' and it only does 61 of them.........
I just can't figure it out

Oke,what rom are you on,and is it rooted?
Also do you have flash any tweaks or apps from another rom, like popup browser.

I'm on stock DLJ4. the only tweak I have is V6 Supercharger, and some status bar icon mods. But these shouldn't effect it
Have you upgraded your stock rom OTA?
Same things happened to my sgs3 after OTA upgraded.
I flashed rom again by odin. That updating message was gone ever since.

I agree, try to flash the rom another time.

International (UK) S3 stuck in reboot loop

So I was using an app on the phone and it rebooted.
It now just loops around the initial splash screen, only pulling the battery stops it.
I can get to the recovery menu and did a factory reset but it made no difference.
Not rooted / stock ROM.
I checked the power button and that operates normally.
Is there anything else I can try ?
Thanks
flash a stock rom
If you are not rooted you will have to use Odin and a stock rom for your device.

thanks, I'll go and read up on odin.
I'd love to know what killed the OS, seems bizarre. I was only doing a crossword
I flashed the correct ROM via odin and its still doing the same thing, splash screen appears about every 5 seconds.
Any more ideas or is it going on a trip to the repair centre ?
non root apps cant really kill the os.
what fw we're you on? that app could have used the exynos exploit if your kernel is one of the older ones.
The FW is Vodafone UK, last had an update at the end of last month.
When it died there was nothing downloading etc, was just running an app I've had on there since I got the phone.

have you done a factory reset from recovery after reflashing the stock ROM?
if yes, send it to Samsung

Have you tried a custom recovery ie TWRP or Clockwork Mod, and then a custom ROM? Seeing that you did even have it rooted it probably isn't an option but it is an idea.

Rebbot after screen turned off

Hi guys, I have this weird problem.
Today I bought a S3 from a guy.
When the phone screen turns off because i don't use it, it doesn't wake and reboots.
When I use it, and screen is on, never reboots.
What to do?
I flashed the newest ROM and the problem still exists

Yes, I did

I mean a real factory reset, not the one found in samsung's settings, but in clockworknod's.
Just root, install clockworkmod, factory reset and flash a custom rom or a samsung stock rom edited to run on rooted s3.
If you've already done that, might also try dalvik cache format...but i dunno how much help it can be.

What app? If you are sure it's an app causing it you may want to learn to live without it.

According to Google. Installing sprint offical updates causes bootloops and install aps from play store...and having a SD card 2 causes bootloop. But what to do which fixed my boot loop is Download the 4 hour stock.Rom. use odin to flash it with nand erase all.option. that fixed my boot loop once. Now a month later since I got a dead loop

It is the different apps. Sure, after I'm getting out of boot loop I'm deleting the app but if I'm installing some other app I can get into the boot loop again. Sometimes I even don't know what app causing it. I mean, I know only after the boot loop happens.
this file name N900PVPUBMI3_N900PSPTBMI3_N900PVPUBMI3_HOME.tar.md5
Try booting without sd card after removing battery. Then turn wifi scan off
