Just noticed yesterday that I was having not as loud audio on my Desire 601.
I have tried the 30 second battery pull, and wiping cache/dalvik cache.
Are there any other solutions to try?
boot into recovery and select reboot. does it help?

A couple of nights ago, I accidentally let my phone die. It must have been doing something important, because I kept getting force closes on all stock apps and also apps that required root including superuser. I rebooted to see if that fixed the problem but it didn't boot up after, I figured it wouldn't be a problem and deleted my cache and dalvik and rebooted. The phone booted to the lockscreen saying "Upgrading android, Optimizing x of x applications" but I noticed that when it got to the 33rd app, it would suddenly go very fast and the phone would crash to the boot animation (not the boot logo) on "starting applications". It wouldn't boot back up until I did a hard reboot. After a while, I realized it wasn't going to fix itself and just wiped and re flashed everything. I did restore some user apps in tb and everything was fine. On the next day, i made sure that the battery didn't die but i woke up to the same force closes and bootloop when i rebooted. Tried to delete cache and dalvik again to see if i could reproduce the problem but now it wont boot past the animation at all.
Im using siyah 3.2.7.2 and my second rom (which boots fine) is Pure ics
EDIT: On 3.3.1 now, doesn't make a difference
I purchased a new 1800mah battery on Ebay (listed as I777 battery) and charged it offline using a wall charger.
When I installed the battery into the phone, it started up and got stuck on the samsung logo screen with the yellow triangle.
I tried putting back the old battery but same problem persisted.
I was able to re-boot into recovery and navigate there but any re-boot resulted in getting stuck on the logo screen.
Finally I did a factory reset and only then the phone started up into android all the way.
Is it possible the new battery caused this issue ?
I don't think that is the cause. I have had it happen to me at times. I have to clean the caches & reboot. That fixes it for me.
Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium
I tried at first to clean the caches and reboot but that didn't help.
it seems the DATA section got somehow corrupted as I couldn't even run backup.
I had to wipe DATA and format SYSTEM and re-flash the rom.
Now I'm hesitant to try the new battery again.
There was no need to wipe data/factory reset,
Just to reflash kernel, i had similar issue, just when updated SuperSU through CWM mode
hey i just put jelly bean on my samsung vibrant. my only problem is that when i try to play music nothing comes out and when i try to make a call i don't hear anything. when i plugged my speakers into my phone the speakers in the phone starts to play. can you please help me
go to recovery menu and try,
* wipe data/factory reset
* wipe cache & dalvik-cache
* wipe dalvik-cache (in advanced menu of cwm)
also do fix permissions at last....
it didn't work. my phone is rooted but i don't know if i was suppose to update it and i don't know what firmware it is.
Okay so I tried flashing a ROM onto my HTC Evo 3D (Virgin Mobile) phone. Here is what I was trying to get onto my phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2430694
For some reason though every time I try to get this onto my phone it just gets stuck at the Android animation screen after reboot. I cleared my data, my cache, and even the dalvik. After this I go and try put as seen above onto my phone. It works and brings me to the setup screen, where it asks me what apps I want installed, what kind of kernel I want etc. Then it downloads I click finish, it brings me back to the CWM screen, and I select reboot. Thinking that my phone will work, when in reality, after rebooting all I get is an Animation screen and that is it. I left it on the screen all night hoping maybe something would happen, but woke up to find it still on that screen. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.
Also I would like to mention that my phone has hboot 1.58 if that is of any help.
So just to show you the order of how I did it: HBoot>Recovery>Wipe data/factory reset>Wipe Cache Partition>Advance>Wipe Dalvik Cache>Install Zip from sdcard>choose zip from sdcard>YAS4_v11.zip
then it does its thing and afterwards I reboot.
Hi,
I've YUREKA+ smartphone and since yesterday, I'm facing this weird issue.
On turning ON my phone, it shows the YU logo and then soon reboots again and again and again... Some time it reboots at the boot logo, some time it reaches till the lock screen and then reboots.
However, when I keep it on charging and turn it ON, it works without any issues.
Issues-
1. Facing boot loops.
2. TWRP boots without issues but while flashing ROM (except AOSParadox, no idea why) or kernel, it reboots.
3. While restoring through TWRP backup.
4. While wiping cache and dalvik.
5. Wiping Cache & dalvik cache became very fast, damn fast. It happens in just 5-10 seconds.
6. While installing apps and gaming.
Except point 5, none of these issues happen while charging. 6 point doesn't happen while charging but on keeping it connected to computer via USB, it happens after some time.

There are only two reasons which I guess might have caused any issue-
1. I had flashed an custom ROM, which was charging my phone pretty fast (though, battery drain was also high). And many people has increased charging speed to 1.5 Ampere (it's 900 mA by default and stock charger is 1.5 Ampere/h).
2. I had flashed an custom kernel, which was causing bootloop in my phone.
Please help. I don't wanna take it to service center as they take months to send back the phone.
