SM-G7102( Grand 2) SDCARD Un-Bricker Files
http://www.4shared.com/file/xaasWKQcce/SM-G7102_43_8GB_G7102XXUANE2.html
Atf Side:
- only select SDC,
- Insert micro sd (just formatted fat 32), in M.sd reader of BIG atf or adaptor
- select you .img file
- click in "write" button, wait and when ready get out,
-------------------------------
Phone side:
1) insert Micro sd in slot of Samsung, wait a little, (5 min.s),
2) connect any Uart Cable of BOX samsung or if have the "JIG UNBRICK" in Usb port of the Samsung and waith that enter in D.Mode,
3) Download and insert Full Flash pack whith Single file, Csc.. Phone..Pda + Mx-Pit file, (this is important), in Odin or if you want, can use any Samsung BOX, (i use Odin), wait when is ready and click START,
4) Now in you phone will be write Full Fw and will be ready for use,
ISSUES:
a) in D.Mode you have Product NULL, any model showing,
b) phone know message like: "efs impossible mount itc.."
c) after too much time phone Not enter in D.Mode whith JIG UNBRICK or UART CABLE,
SOLUTION:
a1) can be that you eMMc is damaged and have need replace it, this method work only if is Sw problem no work whith HW problem, replace you eMMc,
b1) easy solve this, search and Finf FULL EFS for you model and write it whith Odin or Box Samsung that support it, (i use Odin), wait end process and you phone is alive and working,
c1) in this case, ceck: 1) if you have download and used correct sdc .img file,
2) if you have used right "size" of micro sd card" ad file .img is not wrote for half, remember that for I9300/N7100/I9500 you can use also 2gb of Msc, (for sure use 4gb), 3) reformat Msc and write other time sdc .img file and repeat full procedure, 4) to be shure that UART cable or JIG Unbrick is working, Test whith other phone, from power off connect Uart or JIG and wait 3/5 sec.s if phone goes in D.Mode, if NO, then change Uart cable or Repair Jig, never you phone damaged can enter in D.Mode if you use wrong Uart Cable or Jig Unbrick not working!!!!
If you device NOT respond for nothingh after all these steps, please ceck you HW problem, short circuit, Power ic, Usb connector itc... shure you device have other type of problems....
Best regards

This file is ready
It is through the program ATF
Copy it to your memory card and try
But I expect that you need to USB Jig
You dont get it.. The file is .SDC secure digital container and its encrypted with security key. Only atf tool and program can extract and write the dump image to sdcard.

I have a rom kitchen that can cook roms for startek. I am going to try to make a rom today with all the info I have found so far. My 3125 is scrap to me so if I brick it I don't care. Wish me luck I'll keep you all posted.
Just a little update, super CID unlocked the phone and have been able to manipulate some files. Attempted flashing an os.bin from typhoon but phone would no longer boot. Retrying, thought bricked device but no. I'll update as I make progress.

Sledwrecker, thanks for taking the initiative on this. I also have a dormant QTEK 8500 when you get a little further along and need another tester. Let me know, I'm up for it.
Well seems as though I have bricked this turd.... I am locked in bootloader I can't recover from SD fallowing all the steps I have found around here.
Trying to D/L the qtek rom now maybe that will work.
I can't get the phone to connect to pc in bootloader mode. Phone enters bootloader, I plug in USB and it shows "USB" on the bottom left but I can't see the phone through MTTY or throught the RUU setup.
I'll update if I figure this out.
Prepare your SD card with the OEM ROM per this method and this should (hopefully) unbrick your device. Please report back so I can also know if it works in this situation. Thanks!
From the WIKI: StarTrek SD Card flashing
It is necessary to format your microsd card to FAT32 filesystem!
# Empty (erase the contents) of your microSD card from the Windows Mobile file explorer or format it in fat32 from your computer using a card reader (in some cases format doesn't work).
# Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / ~MacOS use [cabextract | http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php].
# Rename the .NBH file to *STARIMG.nbh* and copy it to the root folder of your microSD card.
# With microSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Record button and Camera button at the same time).
# You should see the screen with SD Card searching, then confirm flashing on screen by pressing Softkey.
# Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 25 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts.
~SuperCID devices are able to flash any official NBH image using this method.
I've tried this several times with the english nk.nbh from HTC's american rom and the CWS rom as well.
1. Extract RUU_STAR100_4.1.502.5_02.79.30_CWS_SHIP.exe
2. rename .nbh file to STARIMG.nbh
3. format "my" 1 gig micro SD card FAT32
4. copy STARIMG.nbh to MicroSD card
5. Insert MicroSD card into STarTrek
6. Power on in bootloader mode holding camera and voice record then pressing power.
7. White screen with blue text "searching for SD card"
8. Tri-Color Boot loader....
Never finds / Sees the SD card
PC sees MicroSD card just fine.
Also, as mentioned above I can't get the phone to connect via USB and bootloader either.
Here is what I KNOW I did "wrong" possibly....
1. I was in MTTY trying to upload a WM6 os.bin to the startack.
2. Ran set 32
3. It found device "ok"
4. lnbs os.bin
5. it did a format and copy
6. restarted phone
7. Nothing.......
8. Hard reset ........
9. Nothing
10. camera, voice record, power = bootloader... Works..
This is where I am at. Like I said I jsut want to get a WM6 rom working if the phone is done the oh well. I am here to help.
Try this
If you want to connect in bootloader and you see the usb connection try the following:
In Activesync, unckeck the Alloy USB connections box.
Remove the device entry from control pannel under mobile devices
plug in the device to USB
Run the enableRAPI program to try to re-establish communications
Here is also a rapidshare link to the latest OFFICIAL WWE ROM for WM5 QTEK 8500. Try it as RUU after the above, if that does not work, extract the contents and try the SD flash again. My gut says if you can get to bootloader, you haven't bricked it yet.
http://rapidshare.com/files/56652190/RUU_STAR100_3.6.251.0_02.67.30_QtekEUR_Ship.exe.html
You said
*Remove the device entry from control pannel under mobile devices
Can you be specific, I can't figure that part out? asside from removing the device entry I've done everything else.
When I try to run the enablerapi it just sits at a blank cmd prompt?
Still no luck get the 260 error when running the RUU
Start>Control Pannel>System>Device manager>Portable Devices>(Windows mobile-based device)
Remove whatever device looks like StarTrk or WM Smartphone
Well I went through device manager and can't find any reference to mobile device or startrek. still can't get the phone to connect.
SD card flashing still did not work even using the .nbh from the rapidshare link above.
When the phone first goes into bootloader it says searching for SD for about 1 second then goes to tri color screen. it's as if it doesn't see the SD card at all.
When in bootloader if I plug in the usb cable I get the little USB down in the bottom but I can't get the enable rapi to work. It just hangs or sits at a cmd propmpt
Sounds like we need to get the SD flashing to recognize your card,
Let me walk through the process with my working QTEK and the same ROM I posted to Rapidshare, then we can compare notes again.
EDIT: By the way, My IPL/SPL show 3.06.0000 and the USB connection does link when attached to my PC (Vista).
SD Flashes OK
Well, I found only a few contentious points with the SD flashing guide:
1) VERY CLEARLY states you must format for FAT32
I had to buy a new microSD for this test. It came standard in FAT16 not FAT32. Took quite some time to format it.
2) Extracted the .nbh file using WinRAR version 3.7
3) Rename the file STARIMG.nbh in CAPS as shown. This was the only file on the card and was in the root directory
4) when installing the microSD, it was necessary to put my SIM card in to keep the SD located properly.
The rest went as expected without fault.
Dude you are my personal hero.
I got it unbricked or fixed using your method.
Here is what I did EXACTLY so maybe this will help someone else.
1. Take 1 gig Kingston MicroSD card
2. Put it in SD sleave and Plug into Computers SD card reader
3. Open Disk Management by right click on my computer then "manage"
4. Selected Removable Disk
5. Format as FAT32, Cluster size = 512 and NO QUICK FORMAT and NO Volume Name
6. Extract ship.......*.nbh from official rom RUU installer.
7. Rename Ship......*.nbh to STARIMG.nbh
8. Copy to SD card
9. Place MicroSD card in phone
10. Insert SIM
11. Insert Battery Pack
12. Holding camera and voice buttons press and release power on
13. Phone searched for SD card
14. Success Phone found SD card press middle side button to start download from SD.
15. Took less than 10 minutes to complete recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw some other threads around with people stuck like I was earlier. Try this it worked for me!
Back to the cooking I'm either going to brick this phone or get WM6 working!!!
THANKS AGAIN!
I love it when a plan comes together! Good luck in the kitchen.
Haven't given up yet.. quickk update.
I've been able to succesfuly extract the WM5 ROM completely.
I've been unable yet to extract a complete nk.nbf from Tornado.
After close comparison looks like tornado is closest to Startrek. It has the same OMAP 850 Proc and architecture was going to port typhoon since it's the 730 and the 850 is basicly the same but faster.
I have got an os.bin tornado WM6, not sure what to do at this point.
----
From what I found if I use the XIP from the WM5 rom then the main drivers, keypad, etc.. should work. in theory..
Can I mesh the os.bin into an .nb file ?
I was consifering pdocwrite.exe to upload it but I need to know how to caluclate the header size. Unsure here.
Can I take the os.bin, convert it to .nb and then mesh it in with a WM5 nk.nbh?
Looking for some suggestions, if there is anything OBVIOUS that I am missing please poitn it out.
Try to contact with Erofich, sp3dev or pof, cause these gays working on this project and use the pdocwrite. So they can tell you how to caluclate the header size.
Also in this thread have some info too:

Windows nb from Typhoon
http://rapidshare.com/files/57065531/windows.nb
Here's a windows.nb we can try if you wish from the Typhoon WM6 ROM in my signature. I know you said the Tornado has similar hardware, but I think the Typhoon is also a close match. This comes from the Typhoon os.bin but I am not 100% certain of the process to make it.
(I do have WM6 working excellently on my Typhoon from this file)
I believe if you replace the WM5 windows.nb with this one from WM6 then recook it, it just may work.
k, giving this a shot
I have nb to nbf for wizard. What do you think will be the best tool to recompile the .nbh?
I'll keep reading on my own for now

Hello,
i have a brand Vodafone IT Titan with:
OS: 7.10.8107.79
firmware: 166.2200.20501.165
radio: 16.23.06.10_16.32.00.23U
bootloader: 2.5.160015.3(137079)
i wanted to upload the 2.05 eu rom so i have downloaded this rom: http://www.filefactory.com/file/1ybq4xqcazyp/n/IMG_Eternity_HTC_Europe_2.05.401 and obtained the file named 'IMG_Eternity_HTC_Europe_2.05.401.01_Radio_Signed_16.23.06.10_16.32.00.23_ETERNITY_RELEASE.nbh' (yes it has the apex included in the file, vary strange for me) that is 419.982 KB
i have renamed the file in ETERIMG.nbh.
i have downloaded goldcardtool and goldcard.img.
i have formatted the microSD in fat32.
i have copied ETERIMg.nbh in the microSD.
i have patched the microSD with goldcardtool and goldcard.img
i have connected the Y usb cable to the Titan, the microSD card reader and the PC.
i have booted the Titan in USB HOST mode but it always show me "Entering USB Mode". Upload does not begin at all.
So, what am i doing wrong ???
Please guys help me!!!!

Looks likes that your Y cable is fine, with your phone showing "entering usb mode". This leaves your gold card as possibly the main culprit. In other threads, some had the same issue and managed to flash their phone by trying other type of microsd card and card reader. I used a kingston 2gb microsd card and multicard reader. I managed to debrand my att titan to european 2.05 rom (see the thread I started on this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693334&page=2)
Thanks for the replay.
I don't know if the cable is ok. I bought it on ebay:
http://www.ebay.it/itm/260747604735?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
It is a normal Y cable used for external HardDisk when a single usb port is not enought for powering the device.
I connected the miniUSB port to my card reader.
I connected the dataUSB port to my phone (using a famale-famale adapter)
I connected the powerUSB port to my pc.
The strange thing is that when i plug the phone (phone is already turned on)
then the phone fell i had connecet it and the led become red.
Also the led on the card reader is Turned on, meaning that it is turned on.
But when i restar the phone and push vol- and camera going in USB Host mode,
the led on the card reader is desapeared, so i thing it is turned off.
The phone is now waiting in USB Host mode.
So i disconnect and reconnect the power usb cablo form the pc, and so the card reader turned on again. But the upload does not begin.
Do you thing that there is something strange ?
may be i miss something on doing the gold card (wrong image, wrong name) or samething like that?
I have already tried with 4 different memory card but (512MB MMC, 1GB microSD, 8 GB microSD and 1GB SD card) the result is the same.
I have a question, after downloading the
'IMG_Eternity_HTC_Europe_2.05.401.01_Radio_Signed_16.23.06.10_16.32.00.23_ETERNITY_RELEASE.nbh'
file
I have to extract RUU_Sigbned.nbh and rename it in ETERIMG.NBH
or jusy keep the whole file and rename it in ETERIMG.NBH ???
If i have to exctract RUU_Signed, how can i do that??
I have the same question as nyonik.
After getting to the USB Mode, I plug in the phone the card reader turns on and off and it goes straight back to ther SPL screen and freezes there. When I unplug the device the word "serial" appears on the screen. I've havent been able to find someone on here describing a similiar scenerio. I've tried several different types of media and they all do the same thing.
@nyonik- you copy the euro rom 2.05 to microsdcard rename it to ETERIMG.nbh then make it a goldcard.
@jonesk001- that also happened to me, what u need to do when it goes back to spl mode, unplugged phone "serial" appears, then restart phone by pressing power button for few secs when it start to boot hold down vol- and camera buttons this will boot ur phone to "usb mode" screen, at this point plug it back to Y cable. Your phone should proceed with flashing. If it again kick back to spl mode repeat the steps i described. Goodluck.

Thanks Habnzrot for tips. Finally got everything to work. Amazing enough I used WinXP to format and make the gold card instead on Win7 and it worked, using the same setup that was previously didn't work.

Good to hear that you now managed to flash your phone Enjoy custom rom (s)!
use 1gb msd card. before I used a 4gb card it has the same issue.
I bought a cheap A-13 MID of the internet and flashed a firmware for another variant common problem with these devices so i have no touchscreen and the usb has snapped of tried soldering it but was unsuccessful
I have recovery installed but only way i can use it is through novotools but need touch screen
So i need a way to flash firmware through sdcard on boot (Can be done, can't find guide though)
Or a script that will run reboot-recovery.sh on boot from sd or maybe emmc
Or that will run when the sd is mounted so that if i insert an sd card into the device with reboot-recovery.sh script on it it will reboot to recovery
Must be a way to fix this

I formated everything with ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.2.9, format /sdcard, etc. But this also formated my external SD, deleting the CyanogenMod .zip inside.
I try "mount USB storage" and Windows shows nothing. What can I do?
ODIN
try to get into download mode and flash the rom with ODIN
or get the sd card out of the phone and stick it on a other phone.
good luck
PS: if you don't know how to get into downlaod mode on the samsung galaxy s2:

Never used ODIN, I used Heimdall to flash the ClockworkMod Recovery.
I just want to insert "cm-10.1.3-i9100.zip" in my phone in some way, but how? I don't have a 2nd phone at the moment.
do you own a Mac, Heimdall is almost the same just do this:
Step 1:
Run Heimdall
Step 2:
go to utilities tab
and click on detect device or the detect button and the you should see some message that is connected
Step 3:
Create the pit file by clicken save as on the downlaod pit file
Step 4:
got to Flash tab (because "Load package" tab doesn't work without firmware.xml and some roms doesn't have that)
choose the pit file you just downloaded
Step 5:
unzip the rom you downloaded in your case cyanogenmod
Step 6:
click add (still on the flash tab)
Step 7:
where it says partition name add each file that was in the zip there.
if you find it hard to understand watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7u-iUo5C6M
Most newer PCs come with a memory card reader built in.
If you use a removable micro SD card, it should have come with an adapter that turns it into a full sized SD card. You can put this combo into the card reader, re download the ROM then copy to the card and flash as normal 'in phone'......
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
I build my PC myself, no SD reader.
So, there is no way I can just copy the zip in my phone with a USB cable?
What about the "adb sideload"? I tested and don't show my device, maybe I installed it wrong?
Can I copy things to the phone in download (odin) mode?
no but you can flash new roms en kernel :l
Somebody on here posted that you can mount SD card (or something) from within cwm and copy the ROM direct from your PC to your phone that way....(it's been a while since that post so I can't remember exactly which storage volume was mentioned)

Good to see you Keith! Hope everything is well mate :good:
Yes, from CWM, go mounts & storage > mount usb storage. From there, you can plug your phone into PC and transfer whatever you want to the SD card.
Using ADB push is also a really nice way of doing it, good job OP. Please add [Solved] to the title of your post.
does anyone have a method to unbrick lg volt in dead state with usb "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008"? I have the tot file for it and have tried BoardDiag3.99c with MSM8926 but it does not work.
Same issue here, I haven't found anything yet to fix it. Any help would be appreciated
solution
I was able to solve the problem after a long time of not been able to find a working MSM8926 flash programmer and 8926_msimage.mbn files for the phone. I post the solution here in case someone needs it. The process is below.
I use an identical working lg volt phone and extract the whole /dev/block/mmcblk0 partition of 8GB (ref http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818321) of the phone to an image file and then write the image to a 8GB microsd card using Win32DiskImager. Put the microsd card back to the phone and plug it into the usb port of my computer (need to include the battery in the phone) are enough to make the phone appear as "Qualcomm MMC Storage USB device." From there, I use MiniTool Partition Wizard to delete all existing partitions, format it temporarily as a fat32 usb device to assign a drive letter to it, and then use Win32DiskImager to write the 8GB image file of the working phone to it. When done, I'm able to revive the phone and boot it up to download mode by pressing the up volume key and hooking up the usb cable. In the download mode, I use the usual LG flash tool and the .TOT file to restore the phone.
Note: below is the image file which I use Ubuntu to format the /system, /data partitions, it still works as I test it again with the phone.
