First I'm so sorry if my question is similar with another threads. But I'm pretty sure I have been looking for the answer around the internet and of course XDA developer for a week. I follow every guide and method I found. But it still not answer of my problem.
I flashing camera driver I've got from my friend backup using TWRP backup. Actually I only need to choose uboot only to install. But I'm in hurry so I accidentally choose everything includes NVRAM. Since then I've got wrong IMEI on my phone because the IMEI overwritten with my friend phone. But it's not a problem because I can restore my original IMEI with MTKDroid & Tools.
And the problem is my IMEI is now back and corrected. But there is no network detected on the phone. SIM card detected fine. When I go to EngineerMode by pressing *#*#3646633#*#* and open Radio Information on CDS I saw IMSI field was unknown and Radio Status is turning on and off rapidly.
What I have done is :
1. Full flashing with the stock ROM via SP Flash Tools.
2. Change the IMEI with MTK Droid Tools
3. Change the IMEI with AT command ... echo 'AT+EGMR=1,7,"myIMEI1"' >/dev/pttycmd1
No result. IMEI is correct but no network.
I believe this is not a hardware problem, so please help me to solve this problem. Because it's my only phone to communicate with my whole families. I really appreciate with your help. Thanks.
Hi,
I got stuck with a bad flash and the only way to get it to flash again was to format the nvram.
I don;t have a backup so even though i was able to put the imei back in, and part of the serial number and use the correct modem baseband i still get a serial with 0000000 followed by the serial i entered.
Can someone send me a backup of their nvram file so i can start working from there again?
I loved my phone untill it got bricked with a silly software update by lenovo that caused by cellphone reception which i then tried to fix with a custom rom flash.

Hi. If your NVRAM is corupted and you cannot write inside you could replace with this one. After replace you could try to modify the information from the new NVRAM.
Any way your information is messed up and you dont have anything to loose !

You can use that NVRAM.img. The img file can be used on CN or ROW firmware with no problem involved.

Hello!
My phone doesn't has a Serial Number which is lost but i have IMEI so to prepair that i flashed the original frimware from Samsung from Kies by doing "Frimware upgrade and instalization" so Kies demanded the serial number and i put it that's how i resolved this issue and now i have the serial number and IMEI but the problem is that when making calls the phone says "Not Registered On Network" this problem occured to me when i wasn't having the SN but now how it could happen and i have the SN ? i tried to go to settings and selecting the network that should i connect to but nothing changed. I think that Cert File or the EFS partition touched? Please help me i'm really in a big problem :crying:
really?
there's no one can help us with this damn "Not Registered On Network" "No SIM" and this changed serial numbers?!
there are many sgs3 with these problem,
somebody help plz
we tried every modems, roms, stock roms, with odin and different recoveries,
best question is, how we can correct this changed serial number?
and yes, there is no samsung service in my area
Most likely the device is blacklisted. You don't just "lose" a serial number like a coin falls through a hole in a pocket..
Beamed in by telepathy.
The IMEI is the serial number.
Also, network registration errors can be one or more of being the SIM card, blacklisted IMEI and/or SIM card slot being bad itself.
Good luck!

It was long before I have rooted my mobile and flashed various KDZ through flash tool and flashed many custom roms. Some how my IMEI has changed long before itself, but I didn't cared much of it since everything was ok. But now I just wondering if there is any way to restore my original IMEI.
There was guide for restoring IMEI after brick by @neutrondev that was only for SINGLE SIM version, Can anyone help to Restore IMEI of DUEL SIM version of L7 II or Anyone have duel_sim.qcn file?

Same here, bro! But I insuccessfully managed to restore atleast one of the IMEI. ( "15digit-number"00)
Having 2 zeros at the end. And 2nd showing 00.
I think there might be one on 4PDA, but I couldn't find it. You may ask @neutrondev, he quit deving for L7II but not left XDA. He might be able to create a imei_dual.qcn
If anyone having a good phone (dual sim) is willing to do something that I ask (I will also have his IMEI's which won't get public) I can solve your problem. @santhoosh
I have duel sim phone and i want to help. Consider me @neutrondev

Yes, working but it has wrong IMEI
Will it work even If I have airidosas`s JellyKernel installed on my p715?
JellyKernel is for p710 which is single sim but still works on my dual sim p715.
Only buttons are not in order and I think only 1 sim will work.

Oh! Thanks, bro.
Follow this method to restore the original IMEI of P715
Before starting note down both the IMEI of your phone from the box or backside of your phone. Make sure you have turned on USB DEBUGGING, Drivers installed and Having Stock Firmware which is Rooted.
Required Tools:
IMEI_DUEL.qcn
Adb
QPST Tools
HxD Hex Editor
IMEI Converter
1) Download IMEI_DUEL.qcn and place it on Desktop
2) Install and open HxD Hex Editor. Drag and drop IMEI_DUEL.qcn to HxD.
3) Open IMEI-Converter and enter your IMEI and convert it you will get hex code, note it down. Do similar for second IMEI.
4) Now we have the hex code of both IMEI which starts with "08". On HxD Hex Editor Press "Ctrl+G"
Enter "23848" in Offset and click ok. Start Typing your FIRST IMEI Hex code.
Enter "20F0" again in offset. Now start typing your SECOND IMEI Hex code.
Save it.
5) Now open CMD and locate Adb. Run the following command
Code:
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6
reboot
6) After phone gets reboot, Connect Phone to PC and select USB Tethering(No need to share net. Just keep it without pressing cancel or ok)
7) Open QPST Configuration and add new port, Uncheck Show Serial and USB and Select the "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port" click on Ok.
8) Open QPST Software Download, goto "Restore" tab. Check if the port has Detected the device, Browse QCN File that we saved before on step 4. Check "Allow phone/file ESN mismatch and Click "Start" to begin flash.

@santoosh Working correctly. Restores both IMEIs. But both of them showing two zeros at the end. Is this normal?
I have jb 4.1.2 v10j firmware. I am using jellykernel on my p715 (it is made for p710, which is not not dual sim).

But the network provider detects the correct imei, when i checked phone information by dialing*#*#4636#*#* there the imei was perfect. It only shows wrongly, Ill look into it to correct this.

OK! M8. So now we can backup IMEI Partition with @neutrondev 's TWRP.
If we mess up our IMEI's we can simply restore it with TWRP. (thanks @neutrondev)

Hello, i'have redmi note 9 (merlin).
I had brick my phone with MTK (all data deleted).
But actually i'have flash my phone with stock rom (android 11, miui 12.5.4) and i root this (magisk) and it work!
But my MEI code not are in my phone
no IMEI = no sms, no 4g, ...
How to write my old IMEI code on my phone ?
(I still have the phone box, so I know the old code)
Thanks in advance <3
(i'm french, sorry for my spelling)
Changing or repairing an IMEI code is considered illegal in some countries/regions. But, if you still have a box as you said, you can search online on how to repair the deleted IMEI number. Losing an IMEI is rare and occurs if you've done something to the critical partitions.
Also, could you see any signal on your phone before rooting it with magisk? Or, was it gone right after the main flash?
