You could freeze the factory calendar app and use Google Calendar instead. Otherwise, I'm not aware of ways to change the color of the original app.

Yeah....
Click on settings, then the account (I have google and exchange). It will list your calendars, and have a box to the left of them. Tap the box and change the color.

I am looking for a widget for my lock screen which will show unread mail via the stock email app (POP Hotmail accounts)
I have looked on the market and there are loads for gmail but can't seem to find anything for stock.
I have tried missed it! but that does display the correct string.
Anyone have any ideas?
Anyone?
I was looking for something similar myself recently and someone pointed out that the stock email icon (not the widget) i.e. long press>shortcuts>applications>Email) has an unread email counter on it and they were right

I think that was me. Glad it helped. Note it works with stock launcher only. Any other launcher just shows the icon.

I've noticed this counter in the app draw and on my main page but how do you add this apply shortcut to the lock screen?
I've tried adding the shortcut in widget locker but it just shows the icon and no counter

Yeah, I do not think that icon will work on any other launcher or screenlock app besides the stock touchwiz. You need to find something else.
The default mail on this phone and maybe android in general is not as good as GMail , that is the reality.

Is ur GPs working properly? Is AccuWeather allowed to use the GPS?
No Lockscreen option? In Accuweather? Impossible, I am using Accuweather, because of the LS option - so I have all the data I need right on my LS.
Go to settings, then lockscreen, and there for wallpaper set accuweather. It has to work! Also, u can set it from the app itself.
Please add the ability to show the touchdown calendar in the widgets. It is possible with pure calendar so it should be possible.

Would you mind letting me know which calendar widget you are using?
Is it a Zooper built calendar or the Themer Calendar Widget?

Im not real sure what theme you are talking about. There are not pre-loaded themes in Themer, it has always been a tutorial theme of sorts that is preloaded.
Do me a favor, long press on the homescreen (anywhere blank) when the long press menu shows up, choose "browse themes".
Now in this window choose, "My Themes", then "Downloaded.
You should now see a list of the themes you have downloaded. Tell me the name of the theme you are running so I can see what calendar it uses.
Thanks.

This is technically possible.
This calendar is created with Zooper. There is an option in Zooper for setting the color code to the color assigned in the Google Calendar.
The code is #C0COLOR#, this variable will render or output an actual RGB color code for what ever color is assigned to that event in your Google Calendar.
So you have this variable, and I am sure you are wondering WTH you would do with it.
We assuming that the text in that calendar is RichText and not regular text you can assign a BBCODE around the Event variable that changes its color.
Lets say its the event title for the first event, #C0TITLE#. If you want this to be the correct color that is assigned to it you would change it to the following. [c#C0COLOR#]#C0TITLE#[/c]
If it were for the second event it would be as follows.
[c#C1COLOR#]#C1TITLE#[/c]
All in all you CAN do this. It just matters if you want to take the time to change it yourself, getting your hands dirty with a little light coding.
Hope this helps.

Ok im more a plug and play sort of guy but I will give it a go!
I've been using Themer for a couple of weeks, really nice app. I noticed that the Calendar Widget is no longer shown, in fact only the Everything, RSS and Zooper are the only Themer widgets now listed. Is the Calendar widget missing intentionally? If not, how can I get that feature back?

Hi,
Unfortunately those widgets have now been removed due to many complaints from the Play Store about the permissions the widgets were requesting. Sorry about that.
The Calender events are already displayed.

It was a very useful widget. The current event is already displayed, so you already have the permissions for that. So, please add that widget back.
Thanks
