Like many other people, i have problem with galaxy s2. So the problem is, that one morning i didnt have signal any more.
I must say, that WIFI works well, and i DIDN'T lost my imei. But i simply cant register on network.
I already tried, reflashing with another rom, and disabling pin code on sim card, but didnt help,
PS. i dont have EFS backup, becuse my harddrive on which i had backup, died half year ago.
Help please!
Do you have your real IMEI (don't post it here) or the generic IMEI in settings/about phone/status ?

All these 'Half cooked' info will lead u nowhere ma8, do be more specific and provide details of ur 'Current ROM/Kernel/Modem' info along with a brief note of how this issue got into.
like u have Changed/installed anything on to ur phone after which this issue (no Signal) poped out for u
Do remember that people over here will be of help to u only when u can provide necessary (Basic) info to them as said above

Flash the original stock firmware.
Dont Think About What To Do Just Hit The THANK Button
Ok, here are more details:
I changed a lot of roms/kernels...At the end i have Neat rom. One day (after 2 months of no flashing), i was not able to register on network.
I already try, changing a lot of roms (resuraction, original 4.03, original 2.3.6). Currently i am on original 4.0.3.
Meanwhile i try, changing roms, backup EFS and then clear EFS from phone, wipe everything, wipe chache, disable sim lock...
Facts:
-can not register on network
-IMEI is correct
-Wi-fi works well
-currently on stock 4.0.3
-don't have EFS backup
-no warrenty
Forget the EFS thing. If your IMEI is good, that isn't the problem. Either the phone is IMEI blocked or there's something else at your carrier's end stopping you from accessing their network, or flashing a bunch of modems will fix it. Also, try a sim from another carrier & see if it works.
UPDATE:
sometimes, after reboting phone, i can make calls. After 3-4 minutes, the same error appears.
facts:
- my signal is always strong
-after 4-5 min i can not call anymore
-rom: cyanogen 3.0.64

Hello!
My phone doesn't has a Serial Number which is lost but i have IMEI so to prepair that i flashed the original frimware from Samsung from Kies by doing "Frimware upgrade and instalization" so Kies demanded the serial number and i put it that's how i resolved this issue and now i have the serial number and IMEI but the problem is that when making calls the phone says "Not Registered On Network" this problem occured to me when i wasn't having the SN but now how it could happen and i have the SN ? i tried to go to settings and selecting the network that should i connect to but nothing changed. I think that Cert File or the EFS partition touched? Please help me i'm really in a big problem :crying:
really?
there's no one can help us with this damn "Not Registered On Network" "No SIM" and this changed serial numbers?!
there are many sgs3 with these problem,
somebody help plz
we tried every modems, roms, stock roms, with odin and different recoveries,
best question is, how we can correct this changed serial number?
and yes, there is no samsung service in my area
Most likely the device is blacklisted. You don't just "lose" a serial number like a coin falls through a hole in a pocket..
Beamed in by telepathy.
The IMEI is the serial number.
Also, network registration errors can be one or more of being the SIM card, blacklisted IMEI and/or SIM card slot being bad itself.
Good luck!

It was long before I have rooted my mobile and flashed various KDZ through flash tool and flashed many custom roms. Some how my IMEI has changed long before itself, but I didn't cared much of it since everything was ok. But now I just wondering if there is any way to restore my original IMEI.
There was guide for restoring IMEI after brick by @neutrondev that was only for SINGLE SIM version, Can anyone help to Restore IMEI of DUEL SIM version of L7 II or Anyone have duel_sim.qcn file?

Same here, bro! But I insuccessfully managed to restore atleast one of the IMEI. ( "15digit-number"00)
Having 2 zeros at the end. And 2nd showing 00.
I think there might be one on 4PDA, but I couldn't find it. You may ask @neutrondev, he quit deving for L7II but not left XDA. He might be able to create a imei_dual.qcn
If anyone having a good phone (dual sim) is willing to do something that I ask (I will also have his IMEI's which won't get public) I can solve your problem. @santhoosh

Will it work even If I have airidosas`s JellyKernel installed on my p715?
JellyKernel is for p710 which is single sim but still works on my dual sim p715.
Only buttons are not in order and I think only 1 sim will work.

Oh! Thanks, bro.
Follow this method to restore the original IMEI of P715
Before starting note down both the IMEI of your phone from the box or backside of your phone. Make sure you have turned on USB DEBUGGING, Drivers installed and Having Stock Firmware which is Rooted.
Required Tools:
IMEI_DUEL.qcn
Adb
QPST Tools
HxD Hex Editor

1) Download IMEI_DUEL.qcn and place it on Desktop
2) Install and open HxD Hex Editor. Drag and drop IMEI_DUEL.qcn to HxD.
3) Open IMEI-Converter and enter your IMEI and convert it you will get hex code, note it down. Do similar for second IMEI.

If we mess up our IMEI's we can simply restore it with TWRP. (thanks @neutrondev)

Two 0s after IMEI number gone!
I flashed CM13 after wiping everything (except extsd ofcourse ) and its showing correct IMEI , *#06#.
I try to repair my IMEI without luck, so after i reboot the phone i have first, problem on unlock the phone try my PIN and says incorrect, second i try wiping info and cache but when i try to assing new one, pops a message saying Settings App Stoped, if i do this again says App Settings Stopped again, i reinstall firmware via ODIN but still not working, i can't enable PIN, pattern or Fingerprint, also if i reboot the phone the Bluetooth stops working.
Try to flash a custom rom like the S8 port and see if the problem persists
I've same problems, even after imei repair... I think we have to live with it. I tried even lineage os, the code pattern work, but fingerprint simply is dead.
any ideas? any solution?

I have the same problem, and it came to me after I installed an EFS that I found on the internet trying to solve the IMEI problem, it was very noob. I finally managed to repair my IMEI correctly but thanks to installing a copy of the EFS partition at the beginning without knowing and without backup I was never able to use security on my phone, now I am looking for someone who can give me a copy of their EFS partition to test if the problem is solved
What is the risk of i give a copy of mine ?
i want to help
But i have a G925I from Brazil...

Within the EFS partition is your IMEI number and your MAC addresses. In bad hands it can be very dangerous. but if you want to help you can create a backup of your EFS partition and save it, then delete the IMEI and MAC files of the partition, then make a backup of the partition without the IMEI and MAC files. and then restore your original partition with your files, and nothing will happen
Not show imei number and not working fingerprint after flash unbriked file
I think you flashed wrong persist.img or deleted it. The persist.img is unique for each and every device and cannot be flashed from other phones. Give your device to OnePlus repair centre to restore it.
