Open the Contacts app's settings and long-press in the blank space at the bottom middle of the screen for about five seconds and then stop pressing, and an Enter service code button will be displayed. Touch the button and a dialer will be displayed. Enter *#*#73556673#*#* and the demo mode should toggle off.
READ THIS if you have a problem trying to get the Enter service code button to be displayed.
To reset the XTZ to factory settings, open tablet's Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset.

It doesn't work in 4.4 kitkat anymore. Earlier you can disable it via code *#*#SELLMORE#*#* or delete retaildemo.apk if you have root. But in 4.4 there is no such apk and code doesn't work as far as i know.

A strange Sense Home Screen up-shifted as shown in the attached photo. Anyone has a clue how to fix it? It likely happened after trying the "Transcriber.exe" program. Thanks.
Performing a factory reset
Make sure you do a full backup of your data .
The most convenient way to do a factory reset is via the phone settings.
On the Home screen's Settings tab, tap Menu > All Settings > System > Clear Storage.
Enter 1234.
Tap YES to perform the reset, or tap NO to cancel the reset.
Performing a factory reset using phone buttons
If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using buttons on the phone.
With your phone powered off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
While holding the volume buttons, press the END/POWER button briefly and then release it.
When you see a warning message on screen, release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
I have a problem with my truesmart I have a keyboard that stays on permanently , I cannot get rid of it it comes up across the clock like it wantsme to type something in the box , I cannot get into anything else on the watch , I have tried taking the battery out but it still comes back it just wont go and I cant use the watch"
Pull the battery
Put battery in
Hold down both buttons (this gets you to recovery)
If you see no menu on the screen, hit the power button
In the menu use the back button to scroll down to factory reset
Hit the power button to select
You will loose what ever apps and data you put on the watch but this should fix it. If not your options are to either flash a ROM or send it back to Omate.
I have a Blu Touchbook Pro 7, recently when trying to unlock it, the keyboard would not pop-up to type the password. After re-starting, and shutting the tablet down, the problem still remains. I tried looking for a hard reset option but I don't see any little hole I can insert a clip in.
So, when I tap the touchscreen the keyboard does not appear. For all other options the touchscreen works perfectly.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem???

You don't need to go poking around in holes. Just hold down the Vol+ and the Power button. A little menu pops up. select "recovery mode" with volume down key, then run it by pressing volume down...and you will be in recovery. From there, select "wipe data/factory reset" and you will be able to reboot normally without the screen code (it is wiped as well as all of your data!)
Hi all. It may seem a silly question and probably it is but there are apps (in this case Touchdown mail client) that haven't an icon to open the in app settings menu. With my previous phones I used a physical button, usually long press on the back button, to open it. But how to do it with the single button p9000? Thank you.
Very good question, they seem to have forgotten about apps that need a physical key for menu, have you tried enabling the softkeys to see if the menu button appears on them for you? Can the "Smart Button" not be setup to be the menu key? or is it only to open apps? I not played with it myself..
Still searching how to have the MENU inside applications, softkeys does not work !
I would ask the software maker! The phone maker won't add more physical buttons.
And multiple press are always software driven!
Even if the phone maker did, that won't help you out with the old hardware...
Doesn't seem to be an answer anywhere online so here goes:
Go to settings > Navigation bar > Turn On.
Go to app you need a menu on > swipe up from bottom to bring up the Nav bar.
Three dots appear on the end of the nav bar. Done.
If the three dots don't appear; click on the recent tasks button and then go back into the app and they should come up.
Tried and tested with EZ Drop.
- Doesn't seem to work with apps with the built in "three dots" menu.
I use ‘Menu Button (No root)’ by JetToast free on the Play store, to get round this problem.

I just installed the Octane Fitness App, Smartlink. After running it for a few minutes, it locked up. Now when I press on the screen for anything, it doesn't work. Only the hard buttons work. I tried rebooting, but it reloads this buggy app and then the same problem happens over again. Does anyone have any advice on how to get it to not load the app so I can uninstall it? Am I going to have to do a factory reset and if so, how do I do one on this tablet? I can't find info anywhere and Samsung support is utterly useless.
Thank you.
Factory reset:
Power Tablet Off
Press and hold: Home + Volume Up + Power until the recovery screen loads
Select Factory Reset and follow on-screen prompts
