Here are two boot logos that you flash with Odin. I have used both v1.85 and v3.07 to do this. If you don't know how to use Odin, search, there are good tutorials in the forum.
First is from the Brazilian firmware that says "Galaxy SII Lite GT-I9070".
View attachment boot_Sii_lite.tar
Next is from other firmware that says "Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070".
View attachment boot_SAdvance.tar
Both are flashable ONLY with Odin, put them in the PDA part.
As usual, I nor XDA is responsible for anything that can go wrong, you do this as your own choice and risk. I have tested both on my phone and all went good. It will not increase your custom rom counter.
I almost forgot (blush) but without the help of KINGbabasula I wouldn't have been able to make the odin flashable files. Kudos to him for his great assistance!!!!
Enjoy, and to those courteous enough to click thanks, you are welcome...

Boot animations aren't relative to the handset (Within reason) and all 800x480 bootanimation.zip files should work. Therefore this should work on all firmwares given that you're running an appropriate kernel
It was nice until i saw "Simply the best.." lol

Yes, but i don't thing other Androphones want's a boot loader with " Galaxy S2 Simply the best " slogan, lol
nice boot-animation there, could you make one without " simply the best " logo.
and please move this to Themes and Applications thread.
For the CWM version i just "install zip via SD" right? because it didn't work in Cognition 1.15 even though the change log says it's supported. Now I have no logo though haha, that'll do I guess.

Hi! I'm trying to make my own boot animation (A simple android kitkat logo), but when I put it in /system/media/bootanimation.zip and reboot the phone, it goes to black screen.
I followed the steps described in that guide and read that post, but they didn't share the solution and the mediafire link is dead.
Can anyone help? I'm attaching my current bootanimation.zip

So, the compression is wrong, which compression should I use in order to make it work?

Why don't you drag from another to yours? That's the easiest way...
It was made by meizu official D802
you can find Introduction here:http://www.flyme.cn/
and the video on G2 you can find here:
http://bbs.gfan.com/android-7686224-1-2.html

(you may need vpn to watch it)
but there is a bug in this rom: the gps do not work
the meizu Engineers have worked on it for a long time, but can not work out,now they have give up,and working on 4.0
if The gravity sensor not work try this http://pan.baidu.com/s/1bnrQC39
it is based on cm so ls980 f320 can try cm The kernel

Hi,
Sorry, but i'm new here. Could you teach how to change splash screen like you said above? I'm already rooted and now using RR Marshmallow Rom, with helium kernel.
To tell you the truth, i had no idea on how to change / create setting in helium kernel to change splash screen. Appreciate it if you can guide me or point out a link to some guide.
Thanks.

Does it work on CM13 no kernal installed (I meant does it required something installed in the kernal or it would work on the stock CM kernal )

if you decide to flash this, please helpme with the debrick.img again:laugh:
I have sm 377w that the same thing has happened to I tried to bypass by following instructions on here I flashed a combo rom it to a screen that said binary something. So the next step was to factory reset dis that and then the samsung logo came up and it shut off. Would your method work to get a Derrick.img file. I have the exact same tablet that I can try on. I just don't want to be stuck with two bricks.
I know this is 5 year old post but if anyone stumbles on this thread, here is the debrick.img taken from a SM-t377w.
Just rename it debrick.img cause chrome renames it ands [1] to the name.
