Hello, Suddenly my phone's touch stop responding, also the capacitive buttons. But the Power Button & Volume buttons are ok.
I don't want to go the service center as they have poor quality servicing, SO i wanna root it and flash new custom ROM & check whether the touch is ok then.
Can anyone tell me how to root my android using PC without enabling USB Debugging on phone. As the touch is not working so i cant enable that.

i need your help ! i have rooted - unlocked LG E970, suddenly my lock button have stopped working. i cant wake up screen, reboot & POWER OFF.
when i plug charging cable then i could wake up my screen, now my worry is that is this a software issue or hardware issue ?
i have cwm installed and also quick boot, i want to flash a rom but still dont have guts to that bcoz if that is an hardware issue i cant flash rom and switch on too

Looks like hardware... but you can try flash via LGNPST
My S2's power button just stopped working, I took the phone apart and cannot visually find anything wrong the mechanical motion of the button is correct.
Now my problem is without the power button I can't turn the display on or off so I was flashing a version of AJK's kernal that includes the gesture to swipe the screen on. Between flashes specifically going from v4 back to v3.8 I got the phone to stuck at the boot animation. So now I can only enter download mode using the volume rockers and when I plug it into my laptop with usb the computer repeatedly complains about not recognizing the USB device so I don't know if I can enter recovery from adb since it won't recognize the device.
Need help asap since my phone is now inoperable

Use the Quick Boot app for entering recovery without the power button; I've used it for years.

Did ya try a different cable and/or make sure the port of phone and pc and even ends of cable are clean of debris. Also ya could reboot the pc.

So my phone was unrooted and broken power button. Somehow I managed to lock it using an option in Nova launcher which I was using. Now the battery got fully drained and it got switched off. the power button doesn't work at all. I found a way to reboot it using ADB from PC but I came to know it needs USB Debugging active, but THAT IS NOT! Please help me to REBOOT the phone. Thanks in advance.

Suddenly out of the blue touch on the phone stopped working. No damage to the phone i mean it was working perfectly and just the other minute touch is non responsive.
Tired the restart tried to going to recovery mode but when i press power button to enter it doesnt respond i can scroll through all the options in recovery mode but cannot select anyone using the power button.
Power button works normally everywhere else. First question can it caused using a software update or something??? If yes how i roll it back as cant access the phone at all.
Secondly if it requires the touch replacement I can get it done from service centre. But I neeeeeeeed to have the backup of the phone especially the pictures and videos... How can i do that without having the access to anything on the phone.
is there a software or something which I can install on my pc and it can detect the device and take the backup of it completly????

I am using dual sim Sony Aqua M4 E2353. All of the sudden, the screen go black. Now I can not see anything and I want to backup phone's data.
Vol up + Power key gives single vibration and then three consecutive vibration and then phone is switched off.
I can easily switch on the phone as get vibration on clicking power key.
As the screen is black, I can not unlock it with my pattern lock. I connected the phone to my computer and it was connected; however, as the screen lock is enabled, it did not allow me to go inside the drive and to get the data back.
I used third party software but it says that USB debugging should be on to recover data using their software.
I want to know the following and need help to recover the data:
1. Is there anyway I can disable lock pattern without looking at screen?
2. Can I use ADB to make USB debugging on or can use ADB to unlock the phone?
I am on stock ROM with unlocked bootloader. I want to recover and get back the data only. Please help me as any help for this would be highly appreciated. Please provide steps how can i get my data back from the phone as screen is all black.
