You will need to reflash your phone.
Install Sony PC companion, from here
http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/
Boot your phone into flashmode. (turn off device, hold volume up and connect your device to PC via USB cable. A green light will turn on, If blue turns on, you should turn off device and use volume down key)
Turn on Sony PC companion and repair your phone.
Quote back if that does not help. Will write you a custom method!

My model sony xperia tablet s not support in pc companion

Hi Hnk1 =)
have do so but my xperia tablet-s, SGPT-131 does not connect with the companion on laptop! And no green or blue light flash on.
Power On with Vol.-Down works nothink. Power On with Vol.-Up works into Android system recovery <3e>.
Than I put the USB Cable into the Device and Laptop but no connection to Sony companion software and no light's flash up.
Do you have one more idea or you want tell me the custom method?
My Device only show the sony logo at start and nothing more else. Off, only with 9-second press Power On/Off Button possible.
Reset to factory settings functions(works), but start gets allready stuck.
Lots of thanks from cologne =)

Hi mate
Please see the link below to know how to use flashtool.
Two points to understand.
1. You might need an older version of flashtool as newer version might not have support for an old device.
2. You must download FTF file made for XPERIA S tablet only. If you use from different device, your device may brick.
Suppose you have xperia L (model C2105) , you must use FTF for C2105 only.
So understand what your model is and download ftf according to your model and then flash it using instructions below which are for XPERIA Z (you just need to download file for XPERIA s tablet)

Don't worry i know what to do.
First download PC companion on computer. Then install drivers on computer. After that open PC companion and click Update phone on Support zone. You will see a window witch will ask you if you want to restore your phone. When computer will be ready for restoring your device plug in your phone into computer via usb, hold home and power button until your phone turn off and quickly press and HOLD back button(if your phone is on). If it is not, just press back button and THEN plug it to computer KEEPING holding back button. After restoring you will have a new x10 mini=). Good luck.
P.S. sorry for my bad English

[Q] Xperia X10 bricked...!!!

Hey, I know this is not correct place for Xperia X10 issue's, but i need to display it in general section, as this one is getting critical..
I uploaded a custom rom on my xperia x10, for that i unlockd the bootloader and stuff..
Now, my phone is switched off since 15 days, when ever i try to switch it on, it vibrates once and nothing at all afterwards...if i press power button again, it won't vibrate, unless and untill i remove the battery and reinsert it in phone..
i see three red flashes of light, when connected to PC..
1. PC Companion for update, repair and custom repair is not working...most of the time phone is not detected..
2. SE-update service is also not working and phone is shown as Xperia arc..
3. Flashtool, doesn't recognize the handset
4. few, technician told me box flash would work, but again, it didn't work out
Now, i don't know much about this, but i do understand that hardware seems to be good, till now, the only issue is software and that to initial boot process i.e. bootloader.
is there any other way i can upload a new custom rom on my xperia ??
or any other solution, will be appreciated..
I'm assuming download mode didn't work? Pull battery and insert cord/battery/press back button at same time while aytempting to flash through flashtools?
I have tried flash tools with this method, but doesn't helps..
I don't know about download mode, is it the same done through PC companion..
Thanks

I can´t enter in flash mode (son i can´t use seus or flash tool), always appears other time the sony ericsson logo.

Are you sure that you are doing the correct procedure to use flash mode on the phone? Here it is:
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Remove the battery for at least 10 seconds.
3. Insert the battery again.
4. Press and hold the "back" button on the phone.
5. While still holding the "back"button pressed connect the phone with teh usb cable to the pc. Flashtool should now recognize the phone.

[Q] Xperia Mini St15i continuosly rebooting.

When I turn on my Xperia Mini, I first see the sony logo and then I see the xperia logo and then the screen turns off. The phone automatically starts again with the sony logo, xperia logo and so on.
I have tried starting the phone in safe mode by holding down the volume key or by repeatedly pressing the menu button but both of them do not work. I have also tried to "repair" the phone via the PC Companion but it detects the phone only momentarily(as it switches on).
This problem started soon after I had switched on the bluetooth radio on my phone.
My phone is running on Android 4.0.4
This problem did occur in the past but I was able to open the safe mode then and a factory reset solved the problem at that time.No such luck now.
How can I hard reset the phone without reaching the menu??
Or is there any other way to solve this problem??
Please help.

Have you tried to install a custom rom or have you got any idea why this is happening?
Do you know how to flash with flashtool? If not look in my signature there is a rooting guide. In the rooting guide on how to root gingerbread 4.0.2.A.0.62/69 you can see how to flash with flashtool and after that, if you want, root it.
If your phone wasn't rooted and your bootloader is locked and you haven't installed any app which could cause this problem, bring phone to service, but only if this could be hardware related and you haven't modified anything
Oh my science! You've been here since 2009 and this is your first post!?!?
Don't worry Your kernel is clean the problem is with the Rom.
Just flash the stock firmware ftf for your phone using flashtool and it'll be brand new again!
This will be useful
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792
There are numerous tutorials about flashing ftf through flashtool just google it (the above link will be also useful).
Flashtool can be used with locked bootloader . You can use it on a out of box phone right away.

I have experienced the same problem with my Xperia mini pro (SK17i). Just try to switch off Bluetooth before it restart. May be it will work on your device too.
Is it possible that bluetooth problem is an issue on android 4.0 ICS?

I too faced the same problem in my ST15i....Bluetooth works fine for a few times and after that suddenly it creates bootloop. When for the first time i went to the service center he told me that the ICS release is having a bug and it is not completely compatible.
I have also tried many custom roms with my bootloader locked. But the problem is same.
I feel that the problem is with the stock kernel and stock ICS rom compatibility.
Devs, please look into this and please develop a perfect solution. :good::fingers-crossed:
phone not starting up
i also have this rebooting problem b4 that time i just unlocked my bootloader by test point method the mobile functioned properly
but again the same problem exists this time i tried relocking bootloader by test point method and tried to flash it.Also i tried using s1 tools also after that my mobile is not even switching on 1 vibration is coming and no other further action

Stuck at Sony logo on white background

Hello,
my M4 Aqua was charging and now just shows the Sony logo on a white background . I can turn it off and on again, but it always shows only this screen nothing else. It is running everything stock no custom rom or something. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks for your help
Try to use the Recover Tool in Xperia Companion, that should do the trick
I already tried that, but the phone is not recognized via usb.
Let the phone connected to the power and then try to flash via Flashtool. Actually right now I have the same problem

Wait, new development. I was reading some posts here in the forum and I came across one where someone said to press the screen with the thumb and the back panel with index finger, near the NFC logo. Don't know why but my E2303 is right now working thanks to this
use EMMA (sony flash tool)

Hello,
my M4 Aqua was charging and now just shows the Sony logo on a white background . I can turn it off and on again, but it always shows only this screen nothing else. It is running everything stock no custom rom or something. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks for your help

Try emma(sony flash tool)
First hard reset your phone b4 it starts again hold vol down key while plugging it into your pc (with emma installed and running), the software will detect your phone and IMEI number then select your firmware form the list then press apply then wait till the process completes......
P.S- you need a strong internet connection and a laptop (or a desktop with continous power supply) and it will wipe all your data....................
Maybe your boot integrated chip haw been damaged due to overheating of your device. First, get it repaired usually take 900inr. Then install latest stock rom using any tutorial
