How to activate hidden Daydream. - Sprint LG G3

It's known that Google likes to hide hidden features "Easter Eggs" everywhere. This one's pretty neat. (Works for 2.3 < current. On most all phones)
TABBED MENU:
(List view, just start after 'General' )
Go to Settings Menu/General/About Phone/Software Information---
Very quickly tap Android Version.
NOTE: You can flip this animation.
When you're done with that, Long-Press on your screen. You'll be presented with your android version. Now for the hidden Daydream!
Long-Press on your screen again. And there you go. You are now presented with the Daydream. You can play around by tapping on your screen. NOTE: This Daydream is now available in Settings Menu/Display/Daydream
To Exit:
(Just in case)
Slide finger from LG symbol (Bottom screen) up until your "Home Touch Buttons" appear.
-If you need help fire away.
Also kudos to XenodromeZynosZ for posting a very similar process. I have to keep searching for similar posts. So if i missed anyone... PM me with a link to your post; I'll add you ASAP.

(APP REQUEST) Manila mod for endless Manila-Sense slider

if such a manila mod does not yet exist (note that I searched in xda'developers before posting), may I suggest to our great Manila modders to mod the slider to enable endless sliding (I mean, being able to nonstop sliding from last tab to first tab and beyond, or the other way around)
I guess you're talking about some sort of a loop, right?
I never payed attention to this issue on my TyTN II because I used to use the keypad all the rime, however on my HD2 things are a little bit different... the home button does the trick, but it's not as convenient as way you describe it
That feature is sort of available already.
I mean, not directly, when you are in the home tab, swiping left to right (in the tab area not the slider), will bring you to the last tab; if you're on the last tab, swiping from right to left (again in the tab area not the slider) will bring you to the home tab.

Thanks for your attention
Yes, I know, and that was the driver for my suggestion/ feature request, as it needs several swipes in the non-slider area.
My suggestion makes posible arrive to the desired tab, via single swipe on the shortest route, left or right wise!
I think I know what you're saying but I have another idea.
I think a carousel type idea would be awesome. Just grab the slider and flick it left or right and the slider keeps going until either, kinetically it slows to a stop on its own, or you stop it with your finger to land on the desired tab. It would go around and around in a big loop, animating all tabs the way the Co0kie Home Tab Mod allows you to slide between pages of quick links. I think this would be an INCREDIBLE mod to see become a reality.

How to modify quick access menu on android 2.42?

When you swing your finger down on android 2.42 you see that well known notifications menu. However there is a new tab called "Quick Access".
Devs dropped there what they imagine would be useful (their imagination always stops in a half way).
So is there any possibility to edit this menu?
I'm looking in the configuration menus but I can't find anything.
Thanks.

[MOD][XPOSED] Niwatori - One Handed Mode

**** THIS PROJECT IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED ****
Niwatori changes the display position of apps. The target device is a smartphone that has about 5-inch display because the purpose is one-handed operation.
Thanks to rovo89, I can use this on Lollipop!
Niwatori provides three one-handed modes:
- Movable Screen
- Slide Down
- Small Screen.
They work temporary, NOT permanent.
**
Niwatori was my local version of Flying Android. I released Niwatori since Xposed framework supports Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Differences:
- Abolished FA Toggle, pin, flying dialog and notification shortcut features.
- Control the window only from shortcuts.
- Move the status bar and the dialogs in the same way as the apps.
**
Compatibility
NIWATORI CONFLICTS WITH OTHER MULTIWINDOW AND ONE-HANDED SYSTEM.
I test on Nexus 4 with Stock ROM. Niwatori should work on Nexus devices running Stock. And I support CyanogenMod if Niwatori works with small special code for CM.
Usage
Create shortcut for one-handed mode by Niwatori on sub-launcher , such as Pie control.
[MY USAGE 1] Navigation Bar and Gravity Box
Use shortcuts:
Movable Screen
Pin
[MY USAGE 2] LMT Launcher's Pie
Use shortcuts:
Small Screen
Swap Left/Right
Expand notifications with extra action (Small Screen)
Testing (v0.4.5)
[DEV] Nexus 4, Android 5.1.1
Nexus 9. Android 6.0.0
Download

Google Play for Premium Settings
Translation
Volunteers are welcome to translate text (strings) to your language.
Download strings and edit two files:
- strings.xml
- strings_activity_settings.xml
And send them to me Note that text encoding of android is UTF-8.
If possible, place them in your language folder. ('values-ja' for Japanese, 'values-ru' for Russian, etc.)
Troubleshooting
Turn on "Log Actions" in niwatori's settings and call a shortcut for one-handed mode. Then Xposed framework logs as follow.
Code:
04-21 08:25:47.553 24125-24125/? I/Xposed﹕ jp.tkgktyk.xposed.niwatori.intent.action.SMALL_SCREEN
04-21 08:25:47.556 24125-24125/? I/Xposed﹕ NFW(ModActivity$20#onReceive): jp.tkgktyk.xposed.niwatori consumed: jp.tkgktyk.xposed.niwatori.intent.action.SMALL_SCREEN
The first line is shortcut (action) name, above case is Small Screen, and the second line logged who consumed the action by package name, above is niwatori settings. If the consumer isn't expected package, add the package into blacklist in niwatori settings.

Good Job!
It seems to be the first module which has updated to adapt for new Xposed on Lollipop!
But i'm new to FlyingAndroid/Niwatori. My Device has no virtual navigation buttons and can't call the app as you shown on Youtube. is it now possible to call the app and scale the screen out by setting some kind of triggers???
Thanks in advance!

I got it, finnaly. You can add a gesture to every setting. But I see no use to it fi I can't put 2 window in the same screen.
@GalaxyS4_Lollipop;
 @Demonbane_x;
Trigger for Niwatori is shortcut. The "shortcut" is the same as ordinary shortcuts of any apps. So you can fire "shortcut" from home app, launcher app, GravityBox's action (works on lollipop?) , etc.
This mod moves the display position of foreground app, but not show multiple apps. In the screenshots, I only show one app (Niwatori UI) and expanded statusbar.
This module not working on MIUI 6.

I like the idea of making floating apps, but if you can't put two apps in one window , I don't know for what to use it.
You are a good developer , I hope you will make an app like XHaloFloatingWindow for lollipop in future.
doesn't fly the window
I associate the "toggle" NFW action with a gesture via GMD Gesture Control. When I execute the gesture, it doesn't fly the window. Instead, it opens the Niwatori settings app.
I should add that most of the time it does nothing at all. I know I'm executing the gesture correctly because I get the correct haptic feedback. I'm using the paid app.
Seems promising, gonna try it out
Amazing app!
One problem I saw that came up was that I was no longer able to perform the second pull-down of the notification bar from the middle of the screen; instead, I now have to reach my thumb upwards far more.
I think the module changes the trigger area. Can you check this out? It would make life easier!
And by second pull-down, I mean the method to get from notifications to toggles (bt, wifi, etc.)

XHaloFloatingWindow is one of the best modules. I cannot make such app.
But I cannot use halo window efficiently because my phone doesn't have enough display size for multi window. On the other hand, I don't reach thumb at the top of the screen. I need to pull down the screen.

Please check these points:
If you fire the "toggle" action from the other launcher (e.g. home app), does the "toggle" work fine?
Close Niwatori settings app before you use its actions.
If you need a refund, please tell me your order number by email or private message on XDA.
EDITED: I tried GMD Gesture Control, however it says "no supported device". (because of lollipop?)

Right, GMD currently doesn't work on Lollipop.
I tried closing Niwatori settings before using its actions, but it still doesn't work.
I put the NFW actions widget on my home screen (selecting "toggle"), but when I press the widget, nothing happens.
Thanks, but I won't bother with the refund: I'm glad to throw you the support, and I'll keep re-testing the app every time you update. I hope you can try some things to make it work on my S4.

Sorry, I don't know Samsung's split screen. I have only old Samsung's device.
@Jimmy34742;
Thank you for your cooperation.
I found a fatal error in the settings. Depending on the combination of settings, it is not possible to change the window mode and move the app.
Please disable "Reset automatically" option basically. It is useful only when to fire actions from recents button.

Have a look here for an effective way to get split screen on any device. Make sure you read the entire OP (It's 4 posts long)

I have "reset automatically" switched off, but it still doesn't work. If I don't back out of Niwatori's before going to another app, then the shortcut will re-enter Niwator at the same point. But if I exit Niwatori by backing out of it, then my shortcut just does nothing.

You're mistaken on both points! It does work quite well, and it has been updated for lollipop. I've been using it since lollipop Xposed was released (even before it was 'officially' supported, it worked on version 2.38... It's now been updated to version 2.41)
I would ask to add double-click on a recent. In CM12 like as long press is already taken - switch between the last two applications.
The ability to run the application down to the user is in the Donut version?

multi windows options not showing on PIE (S9+)

Multi windows options not showing on PIE (S9+). After tapping the spacer icon the options are not showing (see screenshots). Any suggestions?
The multi windows options are explained here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00079048/
Yes I notice it. U have to do it the other way... Not sure why they remove it
They changed it a bit..
When your in recent apps there is a symbol that appears at the top of the app. Pressing that will show a menu, one of the options is "open in split screen view".
This is how you now access the feature. I attached a screen shot of the settings app showing the respective symbol. Yellow arrow points to the symbol you want to press (symbol will vary pending on the app).

Thanks for this. I was slightly confused at first, it might be easier for people to understand to say that the app's icon appears at the top of the app in the recents screen, and tapping that icon gives you the options for the app, like split screen, pop-up view etc ?
I want to creat a 'icon pair on the home screen' that option is missing from the new menu. Thats my real question. Sorry about asking it in two steps
You can creat an icon pair in the edge screen but it will not appear on the home screen. Any ideas?

I tried it and I couldn't get it to work either, though I haven't used the feature before so I never created an app pair on my home screen. It maybe something they changed and now is (or with one UI maybe only ever was) available from the edge panel.
Update - Checking the users manual (for our phone with Android Pie) indicates the only way to natively create an app pair now is via the Edge Panel.

There is an apk called split-screen creator in the play store that allows you to create shortcuts that can be placed on the home screen.

Swipe from bottom gesture is bugged

Is frustrating that every time I made a swipe from the bottom of the screen, there will be an involuntary touch to the app I'm using or with the keyboard space bar/letters.
A small workaround is to use the bottom gesture bar, but other phones this will not be an issue.
It seems to be a normal behaviour from a certain version of OneUI but no one seem to care about it.
Coming from an old OnePlus 5T, I've noticed it from day one on my S21+.
I'm missing something or what?
I'm the only one facing this issue?
Go to Settings > Display > Navigation Bar. Here try to activate Gesture hints; then open more options in "Swipe gestures" and increase Gesture sensibility.
I also found usefull to download "Good Lock" from the Galaxy store. There in Home Up> Task Changer I activated "Allow bottom gestures in full screen mode"; this was the thing that gave me the most headache.

Yes, it seems to help a bit within apps interface but not with keyboard.
Today I've tested my old OP5T and there is a different approach with gesture.
Swiping from bottom is really fluid and no there are no issues with keyboard.
I will try to make a video comparison, because this is the only major issue I've found with this device.

Sorry since I don't have problems with the keyboard I have just realized your problem. To solve it go in Setting > General management >Keyboard list and default: here just switch on "keyboard button on navigation bar" and "Show button hide keyboard". By activating these two options your keyboard is going to be moved up a bit so you can avoid miss press (if you use Samsung keyboard you can also just press the three dots then keyboard size and move the keyboard up).
