and was able to have it recovered via mtkdroid tools..
baseband is also present...
but still no reception....
on engineering mode,,i tried the at commands but still i get error cant do on this user build...
suggestions?

try to put this code into Android Emulator (download from Google Play)
suecho ‘AT +EGMR=1,7,”put your 1 SIM IMEI number here”‘> /dev/pttycmd1echo ‘AT +EGMR=1,10,”put your 2 IMEI number here”‘> /dev/pttycmd1

hello guys i have xtouch X1 with MT6589 SoC guys i have lost my IMEI while flashing a Rom i have tried many different methods but none has helped me and in baseband version it says unknown and whenever i try to type in IMEI via engineering menu it says can't send AT command and i have flashed back to my stock rom via SP Flash Tools but even that didn't help me i have tried terminal emulator method MTK Droid tools method but none has helped me even tried to replace the file of IMEI one but still same please help me

Hi,
I got stuck with a bad flash and the only way to get it to flash again was to format the nvram.
I don;t have a backup so even though i was able to put the imei back in, and part of the serial number and use the correct modem baseband i still get a serial with 0000000 followed by the serial i entered.
Can someone send me a backup of their nvram file so i can start working from there again?
I loved my phone untill it got bricked with a silly software update by lenovo that caused by cellphone reception which i then tried to fix with a custom rom flash.

Hi. If your NVRAM is corupted and you cannot write inside you could replace with this one. After replace you could try to modify the information from the new NVRAM.
Any way your information is messed up and you dont have anything to loose !

I tried your suggestion with the .img. run the batch file and it was a success but there still no IMEI registered on the phone it still saying invalid... please help...

You can use that NVRAM.img. The img file can be used on CN or ROW firmware with no problem involved.

is there any tool which i can use to edit the information inside the nvram.img file before flashing it. information like imei, Bluetooth address, WiFi mac address. i ask this because i tried a lot of tools like maui meta and sn write tool and it didn't work on my phone and needed another alternative.

I've messed up my device after flashing using qpst. Now my imei is gone, fortunately i can still use my sim and access 3g network. Problem is i cant use 4g. I suspect its because of the missing imei. How do i solve this problem? Another problem of mine is my device can't recognized by my pc hence i can't use adb to fix. I tried using via adb wifi but i can't still figure it out. Someone please help me!
If you had lost IMEI, your phone would not connect to network at all. I think you have other problems....

I think the problem is with your network operator, not with your phone

Dial *#06# to confirm.
it should show you 2 IMEI,
if it shows, then your problem is not with IMEI

What do you think is the problem? I can't get 4G to work after i've lost my imei.
I've tried going back to stock but imei still not back.

This confirms you've lost your IMEI
Do you have backup of EFS partition ? you said in your OP that you tried to flash using qpst, did you ever take backup of your EFS? if yes then I can guide you to restore.
if no backup then it's hard to get it. You can use other phones EFS to restore and change IMEI to yours. since it contains IMEI of others, it's most likely that no one shares it.
PS : Not only 4G you cannot connect to ANY network if you've lost your IMEI.

I still have network signal but its only 3G. I can still receive texts. Unfortunately, i don't have a backup because adb dont work in this phone. It used to work but after getting bootloop, it never show the usb option notification and can't be read in pc. There is a tutorial out there to restore imei and my adb on this device dont work so i can't do anything.

Hello, I had a brick installing V10.3.1.0.PEIMIXM. With miflash I could install another rom (9.5.16.0 OEICNFA 9.5 Stable)
but the problem is that IMEI numbers are zero, if I dial *#06# apears UNABLE TO GET IMEI.
I can´t unlock bootloader because I need a SIM CARD, otherwise it´s imposible.
I can´t root and use QFIL or others program to read/write qcn beacuse I´m not root, because I´m locked.
I tried with diferents roms (all of them china version) and the same result...NO IMEI number.
I do not what to do, any idea to recover IMEI numbers?

Do u still have affected mobile? Because it's been a long time since you opened the thread.
U can reinstate imei numbers with opening diag port. Using ussd code. And then instate imei numbers with one desktop app. I could do that but my mobile still doesn't show any network. That's the issue for me.
Btw, my case was same as you. Stock mobile. Bootloader locked, stock recovery, unroofed phone.

Changing or repairing an IMEI code is considered illegal in some countries/regions. But, if you still have a box as you said, you can search online on how to repair the deleted IMEI number. Losing an IMEI is rare and occurs if you've done something to the critical partitions.
Also, could you see any signal on your phone before rooting it with magisk? Or, was it gone right after the main flash?

My IMEI has deleted after repair my phone with SP Flash Tool.
It's good ! I have write my IMEI on my phone.
I use MTK META Utility (for run phone on "META MODE")
and i use Modem META for write IMEI
My problem is solved!
