[STOCK ROM][4.4.4] NK4 Kitkat ROM DeOdexed
Important Note:
You have to flash the full NK4 tar in odin before using this rom.
This stock rom is based on the NK4 OTA build.

Instructions to Install full OTA File
You MUST be on the 4.4.4 bootloader to run this rom.

• The full tar does not wipe Data or internal SD.
It is highly recommended you do a full wipe with custom recovery before flashing the full Tar.
• Extract (unzip) the firmware file:
• Download Odin v3.09 Recoveries & ODIN
• Extract Odin zip-file
• Power down the phone (or pull the battery, it is important to flash the OTA from a powered off state)
• Open Odin v3.09
• Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
• Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
• Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
• Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
• Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes
Rom Installation:
- Install custom recovery with Odin. Recoveries & ODIN
The instructions for Odin above also apply to flashing a custom recovery.
- Reboot into recovery with Pwr/Home/Volume Up
- Full wipe
- Install rom with custom recovery

This worked with Philz recovery but it will probably install with TWRP just fine as well.
** Please note, TWRP through v2.8.0.1 is still not working dependably for making backups and restores but it works fine for everything else.

No changelog yet as far as I know.
The only really obvious change I noted is WiFi Calling does not appear to be included.

The only thing I can find is it is an SSL security update, and that is the only change mentioned. I don't believe there is much visually in this which is why I am pleasantly surprised anyone bothered working on it. L is supposed to be out in late November, December.

This is just like a regular rom. The only thing I noticed after flashing back to a backup of ne5, the phone did a hands free activation and then checked for an updated prl.

Sorry. This can only be flashed from custom recovery like cwm or twrp. You would have to be on mdk.

This is the official s4 verizon 4.3 mj7 update that he deodex'ed rooted and some other stuff. So no it's not a port. This was meant for our phones this is just a rooted version for mdk s4 users with recovery.

This is a completely 100% stock rom built from the P5200XXUAMK8 base. It's in flashable zip format, but there is absolutely no tweaking done to this rom; its primary purpose is as a base for anyone wanting to build a mod rom for the P5200 3G, as well as being there for anyone who wants to return stock without odin.
As it is 100% stock it's fully bloated, odexed, and non-rooted. You can attain root by flashing root.zip (not included in this post, but it's in the main forum) thus, if you have any complaints, bring them to Samsung, not me. Flashing instructions and download link below.
Edit: I've now also posted a deodexed + rooted build. See download link below. No other changes have been made to this version besides deodex/root.
Flashing instructions:
-Full wipe (factory reset in twrp)
-flash ROM
-reboot, let sit for about 10 minutes

I think it's just a region difference, will work just fine on your tab though, there's no difference in the internals

I have boot loop on p5200 but i don't know what was wrong I downloaded a stock rom i flashed it with odin and it was all good but the tab keeps rebooting on samsung logo
tried to flash twr and do all the wipes but still rebooting i can access normally download and recovery mode
if i flashed ur rom will it fix this?

there's an xposed mod for that. It's called something like "moto tether". @keysoh2, I can mod that framework-res again if you want? That'll remove the provision without the need for the xposed mod.
Edit: The mod is called X Tether, you can find it here: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.dym.motoxtether
Edit 2: Looks like @keysoh2 already modded the framework to remove the tether provisions, so it should be good to go. Not sure why you would have a problem then. You can try deleting the following files from /system/app/
- TetheringAutomation.apk
- TetheringAutomation.odex
- TetheringProvision.apk
- TetheringProvision.odex
Obviously if you use the deodex version of the rom, don't worry about the .odex files.
Disclaimer I am not responsible for your phone bricking or anything else this rom flashes best from stock firmware do not flash this Rom from lineage 14.1 without restoring your backup an reinstalling firmware it will not work right ! Read all instructions before starting THANK YOU !!!!

It all good that's my faverit #3 build should work fine but it's a flushable ZIP for twrp md5 are tar file for Odin you flash the AP BL CP an csc files threw odin if you want to go back to stock unRooted ! Thay are the latest firmware files in the bottom link ! If that's what you asking !
Need stock firmware for j727p
I did the stupidest thing. I was having a problem with adb devices unauthorize , I update udev rules ,usb on . Still did not work....so a turn usb debugging off and dev. options off then reboot. You geuss it phone will noy boot....ftp lock. Are you familar with this problem... I am guessing I still can boot to recovery ? will check that but I need stock firmware files please.

Download the AP ,BL ,.CP AN CSC files an flash threw Odin ! Good luck ! If you still can boot twrp that mite be your best beat ! I just don't know ! Try flashing my #3 should turn debugging back on !

Just to be clear, is this a link for the un-rooted, completely stock rom? I went ahead and grabbed a copy of the files from the site, but I just want to be sure of what this is in case I need to flash a bare stock rom- a different "stock" rom I found was labeled for virgin mobile, but seemed to be for t-mobile or some other carrier (wouldn't recognize my sprint/vm sim to use data, but texting still worked fine)
Also- somewhat unrelated to that link but related to this post, I flashed the #3 rom and it flashed/booted successfully but it's stuck in the initial setup at "just a sec..." or what I assume is looking for updates- regardless of if I'm using wifi or data. Is there some way around this? It's been sitting there for several minutes...I've tried the home button and sliding the notification bar down but neither worked

Yes it is it is the stock firmware !!! #3 when it stop setup PULL battery an reboot it will be fine this is all in my first post !! All you had to do was follow the instructions in my post !!

I fixed it, rebooting didn't help- I had to pull the sim card to get through the setup (with wifi turned off) then re-insert the sim after getting past that point

Did you flash my Rom after Running lineage 14.1 if so that was your problem this works best if flashed from stock firmware !!!!!

I was talking about the integrity of the download. Sometimes files get corrupted during download and after file transfers. It's the only sure way to tell if you have the same exact files you were trying to get. I use md5 checker to double check. If it's the same, flash away. If it's different, the file needs to be redownloaded. I guess I'm just spoiled by @bilgerryan , he provided an md5 for every Rom Build he posted. It's all good though. I'll backup and try it out. Cheers.

Flashed and working great sir, thank you for the deodexed tweaked rom. There is still knox remnants in the build but it's completely disabled notheless; I went ahead and cleaned it up.
I'm really impressed with the added build prop tweaks. Saved me a lot of time, I was going to put a bunch of those on there after I flashed.
My only question is, did you try them all out or is there a chance some don't work? Great job man, I recommend #3 download for sure.

I have a doubt, since it approves and error I have been able to understand many things.
because with the unofficial kernel my N900a is put into restore mode because it is not the ATT kernel (a triangle appears)
I tried to install magiks, but the same thing happens to me,
How can I install the kernel of your rom, without the system being corrupted.

Firstly,
You can't use Magisk on the N900A because any modification or patch to the kernel can soft brick the phone. Please use the Super-SU preloaded on it.
To make the phone boot again, you can flash this package here:

Since it contains all the stock partitions (including kernel)

the touch buttons do not respond well, the proximity sensors, gyroscope and I think they all do not work in 5.0.1
returning to kitkar the touch buttons recover but the sensors do not
I don't know why it happens

the problem of all sensors was solved by installing 4.4.2
4 files and .pit with odin
then go from NC2 to lollipop pre root.
after lollipop to your rom and everything normal, except the touch buttons,
in stock 5.0.2, in lollipop root. you rom
those keys work very erratically

You are not supposed to go to pre-rooted Lollipop. Here's what to do:
Go back to Kit-Kat NC2 Firmware,
Towelroot it, sideload and install Super-SU and update binaries,
Reboot the phone, then sideload and install Flashfire-Pro (For the love of God not Safestrap!)
Wait for Super-SU to grant Flashfire access, then configure it to install the ROM and reboot in DOWNLOAD mode.
After installing the ROM, when it goes to the Download mode, Flash the "N900A All other stock partitions" file I provided earlier.
When it's done, reboot to recovery mode and factory reset and wipe the cache as well.
Reboot and enjoy this ROM.
If however this ROM still gives problems, try re-downloading the ROM and go through this tedious steps to flash it again.
