I got denied mine (i got the phone the first week). There are confirmed users getting it before the promo started? Thier email was very specific saying they will not honor unless it's within the promo period.

They honored the promo for me and my wife. We bought her G3 in July, and mine in August.
They just honored the promo for me, and I got it on release day.
All I did was just sent them an email referring to the reddit thread.

So I'm glad this was posted because I didn't check the accessories thread either. I just sent my email and laid on the guilt about "punishing early adopters who didn't need incentive to buy the device" and signed it "potential loyal lg customer." :fingers-crossed: Let's see how this goes! I was looking at extra batteries anyway so this would be AWESOME! Thanks guys for the heads up!!

I don't know that laying on the guilt was necessary, but glad it worked for you. I just simply emailed them stating when I purchased it and how it was prior to the promo (for me only by a couple days) and asked if I could still qualify - which they answered with a yes. Now I'm just hoping it actually arrives before my family and I go on vacation to Disney at the end of this month. The extra battery will come in handy.

I hadn't gotten a reply when I posted, but they emailed me back at 10:35 this morning and are extending the offer! WOO HOO!! Thanks again everyone for the links and info on this. It seemed like most people in the reddit discussion mentioned in one way or another about not thinking it was fair or something along those lines so I decided better safe than sorry and would follow suit, especially since I bought on release day so was way out of the promo range. Hopefully yours arrives before your vacation!!

If you just filled out the info (which I almost did, but glad I didn't) I would email their support. I provided the link to the reddit discussion and told them I could provide proof of purchase (receipt and IMEI) I emailed them last night right before my previous post (I think about 1am?) and received their reply this morning at 10:35. If you did email them first, I would try again from a different email account. Someone on reddit mentioned getting declined so it might depend on the service rep who gets your email as well.

I Hear that I have several preordered too. Guess we could always sell extra on ebay to make up for cost if unable to cancle an order.

EDIT: I looked on the other thread, and noticed that most people hadn't been charged. My Google Checkout account has been charged as of this afternoon so I hope that's good news.

My google checkout was also processed but I saw this thread and when I called them (and also did a Web/live chat) they said they had none in stock and hopefully will be getting more next week.
I sent her the link on this site (that even when speaking to her showed available) but she showed me a link,on the site that conflicted with mine.
Either way, if I hear nothing tomorrow morning I will call them to cancel.

Well it seems there is a disconnect within their ERP/Inventory system. After being told by 2 customer care agents that there were absolutely no tablets in stock, my card was charged and I am told now (when I gave my Abe's order number) that it will be delivered tomorrow morning.
Now, if after all this they do not send me my shipping number (this afternoon) as promised or deliver tomorrow - I WILL BE VERY PISSED (yes, this is me dramatically using all caps!)
I'll call and push the issue then. I noticed that they are still listed as in stock too. If there was an inventory system issue, dont you think that they would have fixed it?
They just told me that they recieved the shipment this morning, and my order will ship out no later than tommorrow! (Standard shipping speed)

All i can say is WOW!
I love this device and i have not had one problem.
As most people on this thread know i have been lurking about trying to make up my mind about getting this device.
I really want to tell people on the fence that the tfp is great (i have not tested GPS while driving,that is what my car or phone is for).
I just installed ICS and it is so smooth/fast and much cleaner than HC.
I will admit that the number of issues raised on this forum is indicative of serious (initial) QA/QC issues at Asus. I hope my experience means they have addressed this.

BB does not have them yet. went in store yesterday and talked to an inventory guy he said they arent even in the back yet. should be on a truck for delivery by wednesday to bestbuy and go on sale on THURSDAY 10/10. for the last time people its 10/10 in stores unless lucky preorders get a day early.

What does shipping have to do with refunds? Has anyone tried "talking" with a upper level Rocki staff member?
Because they're dedicating all their staff to handling kickstarter issues first, and then they will go through preorders.

I'm in your same situation, after six months of waiting for my TS I decided to give up and I asked a refund. They ignore me at all, months without an answer and after all they say to me to wait "end of all shippings", is a big lie, why can't we do something to have our money back now? I've got mine. Was posted on the 12th April received it on the 25th. I'm a UK backer. Received in great condition packed very well. Only gripe was I was expecting an additional cradle as I pledged for an extra one but didn't get it.

Received mine last week (EU 2100 1/8GB first Batch), so i am thinking if Omate keep their promise to ship the second EU 2100 batch then you will soon received it. (It took about 2 weeks or more once received tracking).
Delivery in UK by Royal mail. Swiss Post database tracking update seems a bit late, so use THIS site to track your item (better than Swiss Post site tracking).

One question--did you receive any communication prior to your watch arriving at your door??
I have heard zero--since filling out the delivery details.
Possibly my mistake was that, although a UK resident--I spend more time out of the country and I used my Asian address--this could be one reason for a delay in the dispatch.
Hence, I was interested in whether Omate contacted you before sending the Truesmart.

I have no idea what I have got, How to turn it on even, at the moment it's a cool looking piece of inert metal and plastic.
Feel very ripped off as I pledged for the developer edition for Europe months ago and nowhere does it acknowledge this or even how to turn it on etc.
Sucks big time.
Wanted this as I am partially sighted seems I've now got to ask family to search the web for docs and how-tos etc.
Really sucks.
Hope Laurent enjoys the profit... Still not sure if it is a scam will see how far I manage to get with it...

I'd go to the Kickstarter page and ask there in the comments section you're more likely to get a response sooner as I did.

Bingo--got a reply from one of the other backers with details of the mailing lists--and, guess what, I'm on 24 April--Gawd knows how long it will take to arrive, though. Hopefully Customs here will go easy--but I am not holding my breath.

I should have added that it only applies to purchases made from Google, not from Huawei.

When did you buy it? They did it for me over the online chat but again, I just purchased last night. Your mileage may vary.

If you purchased it, and received it (receive date is what matters) any time from November 27th up until today, you will be fine. Just go to the Google website and contact them through chat. They will adjust the price for you.
Scroll to the very bottom and click on CONTACT US. You will have to login to your Google account if you are not already logged in: https://support.google.com/store/answer/2411741

Ah, yeah, I placed the order for mine on 11/6 (and that particular order shipped before my original pre-order even processed...) so I doubt they'll honor the request, but I'll ask anyways. I feel like my order was just long ago enough that they won't do the price adjustment, but the $50 off promotion is just close enough to my order date for it to sting.
Just a heads up, if you bought your phone from Project Fi, the promo is apparently not eligible. I bought mine from Project Fi on Sunday and just saw this promo so I called to get the credit and had to jump through quite a few loops in order to get credit.
Wish they would credit me the $18.99 I paid yesterday for overnight shipping since it's free now...

Project Fi and they refunded shipping and $50
I ordered and received mine mid November assuming the price wouldn't drop so quickly, given Google discounted only the 5X early on. And now I see this...get facked Google. This is exactly why Google and Android as a whole will never come close to Apple when it comes to brand cachet. I can barely understand them discounting the 5X so quickly, but given the 6P isn't even 3 months old yet, and is their flagship phone, it's unbelievable they're already offering such a discount on them.
Say what you want about Apple's ecosystem, at least their devices don't go straight into the bargain bin in a matter of 3-6 months. The amount the Nexus 6 tanked on Black Friday on Amazon was just ridiculous, relative to what it originally costed just a year ago.

Yes same here, there are multiple posts on Reddit confirming the Dec 1 date from Google Customer Service reps (perhaps 15 day price match policy). I ordered a 6P on 11/27 as a Christmas gift for someone. I submitted a return for it today and ordered another one to get the -$50 discount. I know this is cheap, but it hasn't even been opened since it's a Xmas gift. Thankfully Google covers shipping.
I just ordered one today. Will be coming from an LG G4. Was originally going to get the 5x but didn't like the specs of it too much and the 6p was a bit too expensive. Can't wait
