[Q] Bootlooping into ROM manager please help - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I've been running PA on my phone. Just an hour ago, I downloaded the PA OTA update file through their OTA updater, and pressed install now. The phone rebooted into ROM manager and spewed out a few lines of code, one of which went like "error processing rom manager script" and to update the ROM manager or something along those lines. The error message appears very briefly before the phone reboots into the samsung logo, then into the ROM manager and the cycle repeats itself.
I've tried taking out the battery for 10 minutes to solve the problem, but when I slide the battery back in it just boots and goes into ROM manager. The hardware key combos for recovery just keeps showing me the samsung s3 logo before switching off and rebooting. I've tried download mode, which I'm able to access. Problem is, my laptop and computer cannot detect the s3. I've tried reinstalling the samsung drivers but to no avail. Anyone got any ideas? I don't think the phone even started updating the ROM, its just stuck at that error message..
Nevermind I've managed to get it to recognise my phone after plugging in and out for like 10 minutes. God damn my s3 is dying soon.

Bootloop then error messages?

So I flash another ROM to my tab last night (AOKP) and it was running great but I wanted to go back to Clean Rom. I flashed the new rom and wiped everything and anything as I always do with roms. After flashing Clean rom then wiping, I rebooted to a bootloop. I left it overnight and checked on it, and it was still in a bootloop.
I hooked up and started running Odin today to flash stock and Odin was stuck on recovery.img for 3 hours while I was at work. I came home and hit the power button on my tablet and within a few seconds it loads a screen "Firmware upgrade encountered and issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" Kies does not work on my PC so I cannot use it. Hitting power+volume up doesn't get me into recovery. I know it can be fixed but, how? I have looked all over for this same issue and cannot find much that will help. Any ideas?
*nevermind* finally found something that worked.
You should post the solution you found. It may help others.

Has anyone had this problem? Device boot issues

I was using my phone and it notified me of a new update (CM9 Nightlies) when i told it to flash the new update ROM Toolbox stopped responding and i got the |Wait|Report|Ok prompt. Then the screen started flashing ever so slightly like it was trying to send the prompt into the background. The phone then immediately shut down and now when i try to boot it shows "Samsung Galaxy S II " and then the screen goes black , then the screen will flash black , hardly noticeably , and when i pull the battery immediately when i insert the battery it tries to boot. Also cannot get into CWM or Download. Can anyone help?

Take out battery. Hold volume key down and plug usb cable, which plugged to computer. You will enter to download mode. Put battery back and flash new rom.
use goo manager. For future reference. On the play store. Good luck, happy flashing.

Lenovo A820 won't start

Hello everyone!
I have a Lenovo a820 with Lambda rom 2.4v.
I'm using it for a couple of weeks now with this last version, and everything was fine, until suddenly it froze for a while, I unplugged the battery and plugged it again, and what I notice was that the phone restored itself to when after I installed the rom (meaning all of the apps were gone).
So I tried going into Google play, installing some apps back, and I get this error -24 telling me its unable to install the app, happened with any app I tried. so after trying a few suggestions from the internet about this error, I decided to format it and install the rom all over again.
I go back to recovery mode with CWM, try to install the lambda rom like I did before, and in the middle of the installation it reboots and gets stuck in the "lenovo" screen like when you boot it. so after waiting for a long time I unplugged and plugged the battery again, went through the procedure again this time it installed it 100% rebooted so it would boot with the mod, and again, it freezes at "lenovo" start screen unable to boot.
went on recovery mode, formatted system, data, emmc, everything... I think that's the issue here. but im not sure.
After that, tried to install again with the same problem.
The problem now is. it won't even start I press the on/off button to start it normally, and I dont even get the "lenovo" screen, I tried going into recovery mode and no luck.
It's like the phone is dead! Although I have another Lenovo A820 and I tried the battery, and its 60% so that's not the battery.
Do you guys know any tricks? or any tools that I could use to get my phone running again?
I would appreciate it very much, any help you can give.
Matt.

SU binary update stuck at reboot

I know this is a known issue, but the thing is that most solutions i have found regard looking into the phone's settings.
The thing is I can't even boot my phone any more. The moment I get the Galaxy SIII GTI9300 logo the phone simply freezes there forever.
It's been like hours like this. I even tried removing the battery for half an hour and put it back. It just won't boot any more.
I didn't install a custom ROm after rooting, the phone was freshly rooted and didn't got to that step yet.
I rooted the device by using the toolkit http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...msung-galaxy-s3-unified-toolkit-v8-0-t1703488
which surprisingly worked pretty fast and I was able to confirm that my phoen was rooted by installing a root-only app (Root Uninstaller)
then i got a message asking me to update the SU binary and when i accepted the update the phoen restarted never to boot again.
I didn't even get the chance to get the ClockworkMod yet.
Now I don't even have ClockworkMod's menu at the beginning, i have nothing. only the classic boot mode that allows me to download software via Odin (which always fails no matter what package I try)
please help me, i have no other device than that right now....
Download-Mode
Hello and good morning,
have you tried to boot into download mode ?
It's the same like s3
Take the battery out for a few seconds . put it back in and boot into download mode again and it should work
