Hello,
First of all I want to say that it's not my mod, I just optimized it to look nice on ldpi devices, like our minis. Get it from DJ Carpenter few days ago - thx! I believe the original mod was made by these guys: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869002 .
Thought I publish this, tho it's not copyright protected and the original app is free on the market (https://market.android.com/details?id=net.yuvalsharon.android.digiwatch).
If I'm breaking some rules now, moderator please delete this post, and I am sorry.
This mod is only for 24-hour clock format, and without showing date on the widget!
So quick "how-to-install":
- Install apk
- Go to home screen and add "DigiWatch" wigdet.
- Select clock style - tap clock (#1 on the list)
- Be sure to untick "Show date"!
- Option "Use 24-hour format" must be checked!
- Save
You can't resize the widget - sorry.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
1) The clock you see is called Simiclock. It is free, Play around with the settings to get it to look like you want.
For transparency go to:
Settings > Background Color > Alpha 0%
To add the battery indicator on the right go to
Settings > Battery Settings> Click *Display Battery*
Note: The divider you see is attached to Simiclock! (Not the weather!)
The desired look of the divider between the weather is made by
resizing SimiClock over the weather widget! (Using LauncherPro)
2) The weather widget is a part of Beautiful Widgets
Hope this help

This has been hounding me since EMUI 3.1 and now there's an easy way to solve it by exploiting a bug in the widget handling.
Maybe you've seen it before. You choose another launcher and you get EMUI icons. Then you choose another icon pack, or none, or system - and you end up with blank icons.
Get an add-on launcher like Nova (free) or Smart Launcher 3 Pro. If you're already using one, SAVE YOUR SETUP in the launcher.
In the launcher settings, choose system, default, or none for the icon style.
Now add the the first Weather widget shown in the upper left, your selection method may vary by launcher -
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Your screen will freak out for a moment and give you a scary warning about the launcher being no good and tell you to uninstall it. Cancel/ignore that.
You'll now be in the stock EMUI launcher with stock Oreo or default icons for everything.
Go to settings, apps, the other launcher, storage, and clear cache and data. If you want to use that launcher, bring it back up and restore the backup.
Either way, regardless of the launcher you choose, you'll be free of the EMUI icons - except for the Huawei/honor apps - and you won't need to mess with custom themes for that.
Hope that helps.
